Like all of Shanna's books, the characters were very likeable. It was a great classic romance, with a twist of suspense on the side. I was surprised at the identity of the killer! An enjoyable read.

I read this book when it was first came available, and loved it. There are so many details that only someone growing up in rural Oregon/Washington would know to include to make it so real for the readers. Keep up the great work Shanna.

Because of the title and the cover art, I thought this book was going to be more about a mystery and suspenseful cop scenes, but it ended up being more of a romance novel-- a good novel though, so I happily threw out my preconceived notions and embraced the book for what it was: a cute story with a happy ending. Yes, I did have suspicions of the killer's identity before the detective figured it out, but the story wasn't meant to be a detective novel, it's a love story. I'd like to read more of this author in the future.

Grisly? Yes, at times and a stretch for Shanna Hatfield in her first mystery. The "mystery" part was pretty clear early on but the reader is drawn in by the character's tenious hunt for the truth.
The butterflies are thrown in with the romance aspect of the plot. Love sort of "flutters" about as Mad Dog feels the need for support from the opposite sex.
This reader finds the story a tad unbelievable when the truth is revealed to Mad Dog, and the horrifying scenes are graphic at times. However,I do think that for a suspense thriller or murder mystery first attempt, this one is a solid start.

QR Code Killer was a fantastic book. Quick to read and kept me interested the whole time.

I loved the thrill of suspension in the book. Waiting to see what was going to happen next was fun. The romance of it was really sweet and gave me a warm happy feeling while rooting for them to fall in love.

I loved the setting for the book as well, living in Walla Walla made it really fun to read, as I recognized the places the characters visited. It is fun to imagine what places look like if you have never seen them, but knowing what they look like is great. It really helps put you in the story.

I am an avid reader of all genres of books and have read so many that sometimes it is hard for a book to keep my interest. QR Code Killer had my interest from the first chapter and had me finishing the book in one day! I am definitely a huge fan.

This book is absolutely awful. Very boring , mundane and the plot was so silly. What kind of person wouldn't be able to even recognize the face and voice of a person they had been intimate with? If I could give this a score of zero I would.

Everything was great if somewhat predictable which is not necessarily a bad thing. The end left too much of the after the climax healing process out. I hope the next book with these characters and please let there be more books will fill in some of the gaps.
