Been reading Boynton books to our toddler since she was an infant. They have great art and fun stories. Now that she's old enough to grab her own books for bedtime reading, the Boynton books are usually her first choices.

The first time I read Horns to Toes, she didn't quite get it, or like it. But then she started enjoying it more and more. She especially likes as I point to the different body parts while reading the story. Horns to Toes is now in the top four books she grabs for bedtime reading. She also really likes The Going to Bed Book, Not the Hippopotamus, and Oh my, Oh my, Oh Dinosaurs!

This book is about our equipment: eyes, arms, teeth, backs, tails, etc. As we read this book, my daughter looks for the appropriate items on herself, her dolls, and sometimes me! After she figures out that we don't have those big tails, she's done with this. The pictures are cute, the rhyme scheme works, but its hit or miss.
This author has a lot of different books that appeal to a lot of different kids, so if this doesn't sound like something new or right for you, keep looking -- there's probably a perfect Boynton book for your child.

Sandra Boynton is the heir apparent to Dr. Seuss with her funny, unique style of cartooning as well as her sing-song, wacky rhyming texts. This little book about three horned monsters describing themselves from the horns on the top of their heads, down to their toes is yet another winner from Sandra.

My two year-old loves all of her books and the sillier the better. I often have to read them four or five times in a row before I can switch to another book. Fantastic!

Very cute story and as usual the author has great cadence. Fun to read all of her books! This one took a little longer for my child to warm up to vs the Moo Baa La La La book, but when he was a bit older he very much enjoyed it. (having said that, the Moo Baa... etc book was a hit at 6 months! This one was closer to 11 months before it became a favorite).

I love the quirkiness of these books, they are so fun and my little man loves getting these read to him and they never get old with me either since i'm wondering every time i read them where in the heck did this lady come up with this stuff!

You can't go wrong with these Sandra Boynton books. My child loved these and were a great entry into reading. A child can recognise the relationship between the pictures and the words as you read to them. It sets them up nicely for a lifetime love of books.

We have all the Boynton books (Barnyard Dance, Doggies, Opposites, etc), and my 18 month old son loves all of them but this one. Whenever we sit down to read it, he pushes it away after only a page or two to reach for another book. For some reason, it just doesn't capture him like her other books do.

My toddler has been reading this book since she was 12 mos old and is now almost 3yrs. We sing it to the tune of "Beverly Hill Billies" and she sings it right along with me! So Much Fun! Our favorite Boynton Book.

Definitely not up to Boynton’s standards. I bought because it was on sale but it was still a waste of money. My toddler doesn’t even like the pictures and I find it really hard to read. It doesn’t flow well like her other books and I’m constantly stumbling over the words.

My son still prefers "Dinosaur Dance", and "Are you a Cow" the best, but this one is cute! I think once he gets older and starts learning parts of the body, he'll appreciate it more :) (He's only 8 months right now)>
