Pia is one of my favorite fictional characters because she can deal with Dragos, a wily ancient Dragon, and still hold her own and keep her indomitable good nature. Dragos and Pia go to Vegas to help Rune and Carling celebrate their marriage and inevitably Pia ends up in danger. Pia is in an advanced state of pregnancy, worried for her own safety as well as her baby and has to deal with a cryptic god. I love how Pia cuts through the bullsh*t with her usual irreverent practical and humorous approach to life. I wish Dragos had had a little more game in dealing with those putting his family in danger--he is supposed to be a crafty scheming dragon-- but this is mostly a story about a new relationship that has had to deal with an awful lot while they find a way to be a family together. And it does this exploration of achieving happily ever after beautifully.

Planet Dragos by Thea Harrison is a wonderful novella that is part of her fantastic Elder Races series. In Planet Dragos, for the final time, Pia and Dragos are in the forefront of this story. Thea has told us in advance that this is the last time she will devote the future books in the POV of Pia and Dragos. Both of them have been our favorites for a long time, and it has always been a joy spending quality time with them.
Pia and Dragos travel to Las Vegas to attend the wedding of Rune and Carling; and with Pia pregnant, her temperament has been noticeable, especially with her having a difficult time with this baby. Dragos loses his cool with Pia, as he too is not in a good frame of mind, with trying to deal with the political machine that refuses to work with him. After Pia leaves for her room, Dragos realizes he needed to talk to Pia, since he felt bad how he talked to her. When he goes to their room, Pia is missing, supposedly off to shop.
In a short time, when he tries to call her, someone else picks up the phone, and Dragos finds out that Pia has been kidnapped. All hell breaks loose in Vegas, as the mighty Dragon shifts to find his mate, but he cannot even sense her. When a picture is sent to him, both he and Rune know that Carling has also been kidnapped.
They will bring the team together to find them. It was great to see Dragos and Rune reconcile their differences, especially since Rune says that Carling (who has been drained, and is a dangerous Vampyre) will never hurt Pia. They use every available person to search into the past to discover who is behind this kidnapping, and why. The who and why goes far far into Dragos past. Can they find Pia in time to save her and the baby?
What follows is an exciting, fast paced, action packed emotional story that will create changes for Dragos and Pia, as well as for Liam and the Sentinels. I read this in one sitting, as I was totally engrossed into the story. What made this so good was the chance to see many of our favorites from previous books make appearances. This is always fun. We also got to see Azrael (Death), who made a visit to both Dragos and Pia separately.
Thea Harrison once again gives us another exciting and wonderful story featuring the wonderful romantic couple in Dragos and Pia. Though there will be no more novellas in their POV, I hope we do get to see them in the future books with the other members of the Elder Races. I look forward to seeing what Thea Harrison has in store for us with the changes for the Wyr and the Elder Races.

I actually read this story twice since I originally started it a couple weeks ago (dates approximate — Kindle for PC's random feature-omissions are a pain — but my first reading got interrupted after the action climax, before the final page, so I felt it wouldn't be fair to post with just those reactions). My final, "I liked it" verdict is about 3.5 Goodreads stars, with the rounding down there due to my idiosyncratic preferences; my favorite ("really liked it") romances have to have heroes that I find more personally appealing.
*Pia* is one of my favorite characters, even when she's having a tough time with a difficult pregnancy, but the thing you have to remember about Dragos is that he's not really a *nice* person, even having adapted to a "modern" life among "inferior" beings. In his PoV, it freely admits that if he lost his mate and son, he'd let the whole world be destroyed! He does care about a few more people (mainly Wyr, his present and past sentinels), and he's also a typical "guy", who sometimes puts his foot in his mouth with his beloved. The mix definitely makes him an *interesting* read, at least!
The baddie in this book had justification for going after Dragos back in his "terrible Beast" days; it's just that where her festering vengefulness has taken her now is loco and unjustifiably cruel and sadistic. The tension of hunting down where Pia has been taken (from Dragos's PoV), what she's going through during that time (from hers), and the ultimate battle, are pretty intense.
Without spoilers, I'll add that I also want to reread Carling and Rune's book (Serpent's Kiss (Elder Races Book 3)), because they're worth it, too; I really admired Carling here. It was nice to see other returning characters, too, such as Grace and Khalil fromOracle's Moon (Elder Races Book 4). And Azrael — now there's a cool new character, with so much potential!
After all that, though, Dragos has a big decision to make in the dénouement, which leads to important decisions for several others. Since this was announced as the last Dragos-and-Pia-centric story, I guess we'll only get glimpses of their "next chapter". I wonder if "Stinkpot", that adorable "disastrous miracle", will grow up more slowly than Liam; I felt sorry for Pia (even more than for young Liam himself), for how all those growing-up moments were cut so short by his too-like-his-father supernatural nature.
I'm not sure how much more I can safely say, so I'll just reassure you that there is both a satisfying ending and lots of room left to explore the impact of those big decisions in future Elder Races tales.
The editing and proofreading are good, *very* good for an ARC. I only caught one sentence which, as contrary-to-fact, should be in the subjunctive. My other highlights are all just appreciative ones, mainly re. personality insights.
Required disclaimer: I received an e-ARC from the author in return for an honest review.

Planet Dragos will make your heart soar and fill you with a sense of fire and adventure, as we take this final journey with Pia and Dragos. It's a bittersweet moment, but filled with joy and endless wonderful memories.
I'm sad this will be the last of the stories about Pia and Dragos, but I'm hopeful and looking forward to other stories of the Elder Races as Liam takes his place in the world. Perhaps we will see glimpses of Pia and Dragos as we get stories of the little Stinkpot. Perhaps not. It's difficult to let these beloved characters go but I think Ms Harrison brought everything to a stunning conclusion. It's satisfying and yet left me wanting more - the hallmark of a skilled writer.
I love dragon shifters, but of all the dragon shifters I've read over the years, there is not one who compares to Dragos. He is by far the most magnificent, most astonishing, and most powerful of all the dragon shifters I've encountered in all my time reading about them. He hold a magic, mystery, and power that is unsurpassed. He will always hold a special place in my heart and the standard I hold every other dragon shifter story I read up against. So far nothing else compares.
And Pia is a delight. I have loved her from the very start. Her quirkiness, her humor, her innocence, and her strength. You have to be extraordinarily strong to love and stand up to a creature like Dragos. I loved that she brought life, love, and warmth into Dragos' life. That she gave him a reason to live again, be engaged and intrigued by the world around him again after many years of ennui. Her light and laughter are a beacon and to this very day, she is one of my favorite heroines.
Planet Dragos is a showcase of Dragos' power and strength, his love for Pia, and the might of the Wyr demesne. It shows Pia's determination and resilience in the face of adversity. It brings back familiar faces and characters we have loved over the years. And most importantly, it ties together all the loose ends that have dangled throughout the lifespan of the Elder Races series, and for me, it's the end of an era.
Ms Harrison, if you're listening, I hope there will be more Elder Races stories. I hope we hear mentions of Pia and Dragos in the future and learn how they are doing in their new life. I also hope we get more stories of Liam and the little Stinkpot. I know I'm repeating myself, but it bears repeating. This is such a beloved series, and Pia and Dragos are such a beloved couple. I feel bereft at the thought of no more stories about them, elated we were given such a wonderful finish, and hopeful for more in the future.
Planet Dragos was a brilliant send off for Pia and Dragos even if it broke my heart to say good bye characters who have become old friends to me. After all, it's been seven years since this journey began for me. Whatever Ms Harrison writes next, I can't wait to read it.

So it seems like this overall story ARC that began so long ago with the love story of two very unlikely and unique individuals has come full circle and to a satisfactory ending. Any true fans of this series knew it was coming, but the end is always bittersweet and I for one was sad to see all the change and challenges that Dragos and Pia had to overcome to finally come to their true and everlasting HEA. This story was the last novella for Dragos and Pia and revolves around the how Dragos deals with the kidnapping of his mate and the truth that has been staring him in the face more and more lately. In the end Pie and Dragos have to come to a heartbreaking but necessary decision in order to rebuild their lives and give their family—and their people—a chance for a life lived on their own terms in safety. I loved seeing Pia standing up to her enemies and for her friends in this story even as she dealt with a lot of hormonal and body changes as she prepared to give birth to her second child. While it was obvious she continues to have problems with her pregnancy she refuses to allow anything to put her life of her child in danger or to take her from the love of her life. Dragos was, of course, the pinnacle predatory alpha male and tore apart the world to find and rescue his mate, but thankfully at the same time he remained a man that Pia could love and didn’t make the innocents around him suffer for the crimes of the guilty. This story tugged at my heart while also sometimes bringing laughter, but overall if makes you really think about the challenges that these two have faced both together and apart through their short, but intense and dramatic, relationship and life together. I truly enjoyed the way the story was wrapped up nice and neatly and there were so any little glimpses of favorite characters from other previous novels that I enjoyed getting to reminisce as well. I am looking forward to perhaps a new story ARC or a spinoff that revolves around the next generation or the new group of Wyr leadership. All in all it was worth every moment of angst and fear to see Pia and Dragos fins their happiness and begin to build their new lives. If you are looking for a look into the lives of a unique and amazing couple you can’t ever go wrong with one of these stories, but I highly recommend you go back to the very beginning and read them all, otherwise the true greatness of this series will slip through your fingers like so much sand through an hourglass. Whatever comes next, I know I will be one of the first in line to give it a try, so keep the magic coming Ms. Harrison.

Pia is cranky, pregnant, her feelings are easily hurt, she's pregnant ... oh yes I said that, but with this pregnancy she seems to have had a bit of a personality change. Always the voice of reason, the one who could talk “the beast” down, she's feeling none of that. And when Dragos basically ignores a simple question, when they arrive at Las Vegas for the wedding of Rune and Carling, she goes to find the answer for herself. In the process she is kidnapped by an enemy of Dragos that goes way back, and locked up with a drained vampire. Luckily it is Carling, a vampire with pride, integrity and strength to fight the blood need she awakens with.
The drama and action are textbook Thea Harrison, engrossing, fun and even a few moments of sweet. You will find yourself turning the pages as if they were burning your fingers so you can see what happens next. The dialogue, seeing the emotions that Dragos and Rune are going through as they try to figure out who and why their mates were kidnapped is very gripping and you can just image what would be left of Las Vegas if anything happened to Pia. Can you say nuclear disaster? It was also a fantasy moment when Dragos offers an incredible amount of money for help and to shut off a magical power guard on all of Vegas.
Planet Dragos is sadly, the end of Pia and Dragos' POV stories, but not author Thea Harrison's Elder Race books. I have loved Pia and, OK, Dragos, too, since she stole from him and he captured her heart in Dragon Bound. I have enjoyed their ups and downs so I hope that there will be a few “guest” appearances by them.

Wow. For PLANET DRAGOS being "just" a novella, an incredible amount of game changing events happen. My head is still spinning from the whirlwind of events. It's always so bittersweet to say goodbye to much loved characters. And as this is the last installment to directly feature Dragos and Pia, I was hoping for a proper send off. PLANET DRAGOS more than delivered.
From the first page, things take off with a bang and Dragos speaks of Pia's kidnapping. Then we're thrust a few days in the past to a very pregnant Pia and Dragos trying to navigate their relationship. Their squabbling and learning to navigate through their issues felt so real and relatable. Then of course the actual kidnapping occurs and the book is an utter whirlwind from there. It's non-stop action and fury with all the favorite characters from previous books returning leading up to one heck of a climax. I was seriously hooked and on the edge of my seat from all the action. But what I appreciated even more was that after the incredible climax, there was a good bit of page time afterwards bringing things to a close and setting things up for the future. It was really well balanced and I loved every minute of it!
PLANET DRAGOS felt like an end and a beginning all in one, both bittersweet for this reader and yet hopeful for the future to come. With one door closing and another one opening, Thea Harrison proves that there is so much potential to the amazing Elder Races world. I can't wait to see what's in store next!

Planet Dragos is a thrilling and fantastic send off to Dragos and Pia as some exciting events take place and brings about major changes to their world.
As always the characters of the Elder Races universe are strong, bold and easily draw readers in and hold them hostage until the very end. In Planet Dragos, we meet up with Dragos, Pia and friends as well as meet some new characters, one of whom is Death which adds quite a bit of excitement and chilling anticipation to the story. There is never a dull moment in this fast paced story which full of thrills and suspense which keeps readers on the edge and since most of those events are life altering continuously builds a sense of nail-biting anticipation throughout the story as well.
The Elder Races series is exciting and full of wonderful characters that constantly surprise readers and brings them lots of enjoyment and I have to say that Pia and Dragos favorites of readers everywhere including me, so I was quite thrilled with this book and I found it to be quite energetic and exhilarating from start to finish. And while I am disappointed about one of the decisions that Dragos and Pia made (sorry no spoilers), I am also looking forward to finding out what Thea Harrison has in store for us readers next.

In Planet Dragos, Thea Harrison gives readers another chapter in the mesmerizing world of the Cuelebres. As the final story with Pia and Dragos as the main viewpoint characters, this book was very bittersweet for me. Of the many fantastic characters Harrison has created, Pia and Dragos top the list. My only criticism of this novella, and it is a very minor one, is that I wish they had spent more time together in it. Had this not been the last book with them as the central characters, that would not have bothered me at all, and the last third of the book gives readers plenty of Pia/Dragos interaction (in and out of the bedroom).
One of the incredible facets of Harrison’s writing is the complexity of her novellas without the stories feeling too forced or scattered. This remains true in Planet Dragos. Without giving too much away in terms of spoilers, here’s what is happening: the Wyr are gathering in Las Vegas to celebrate Rune and Carling’s wedding. Pia is at the end of her pregnancy with Stinkpot, and Dragos is distracted by a business deal and his feeling that something is not right in his world. Pia is kidnapped, which releases the Great Beast as he and his team try to discover the who, what, where and why of the act. The story introduces us to Azrael, a mysterious figure from Dragos’ past who looks a lot like him. Rune and Carling play significant parts here as well. Harrison wraps up some loose ends from previous books but lays the foundation for many other Elder Races stories, including Liam, Azrael, and Rune/Carling.
What is very satisfying about this book is the further progress Dragos makes as he navigates the continuing unfamiliar territory of mate and father. His calculating nature does not deal well with uncertainty; he needs a plan. Over the course of the Pia/Dragos books, events have snowballed into a growing sense of dissatisfaction with his old self and life as he tries to figure out who he is as a father and husband. From the moment in Dragon Bound when he decides to downsize because, as Graydon tells Pia, she’s replaced his hoard, Harrison has been steering Dragos to this epiphany, and fans won’t be disappointed. In giving the couple a deserved break from the harrowing moments in their 2-year marriage, Harrison has left the door open for a new adventure. Though Pia and Dragos won’t be the main couple, I’m sure they will still play important parts in the stories of Liam, Stinkpot, Azrael, and other Elder Races characters that I hope are forthcoming. I think fans who love Dragos will be especially pleased with Azrael. So though bittersweet, because saying farewell to beloved characters is always hard, I highly recommend this book. As with most of the Cuelebre-centered novels, as I finished the last page, I had a smile on my face. Like Pia, I fall deeper in love with Dragos who (as she says in Dragon Bound), might be a bad man but is a very good dragon.

Four stars for this because I loved the writing and the story. Lots of action from the start, enjoyed delving into their relationship where everything is not coming up roses at the start. I did not think this was a complete finish to their story arc and another character (Azrael) was introduced I would love to know more about, never mind Liam and what he will do and the new baby boy plus what happens after their move. So many questions left unanswered...Thea has said this is it for the Dragos family but this story did not complete anything for me as a reader. The plot was excellent and as far as novellas go, this was a good read but too abbreviated for the content. Left me wanting/needing more related to this family and the supporting characters, especially Azrael. It was great to see Rune and Dragos working together again and Carling was pretty amazing in her restraint. I always love Pia and their love for one another is such a strong bond. Read and enjoy if you have been following these characters. Not a novella to just pick up without background on Dragos. Pia and the gang. I received an ARC for review but this in no way influenced my rating.

PLANET DRAGOS is a bittersweet story. Unfortunately, it’s the last time Dragos and Pia will be a featured couple with their points of view. But on the flip side, Ms. Harrison sends them off with a bang!
The story was fast-paced and exciting. New characters find out what happens when you pull the Great Beast’s tail (which is highly discouraged?). Pia’s pregnancy is resolved and some interesting developments happen which are paramount to the Elder Races universe. It’s a very engaging read!
I am VERY sad that this is Dragos and Pia’s last feature. They are my favorite couple in the series and I’ve loved them ever since DRAGON BOUND. Ms. Harrison explained why she made the decision to give them their final feature story in a Q&A on her blog which you can read HERE.
Although I’m sad, I’m equally excited for new possibilities for the series. I highly recommend PLANET DRAGOS, the Elder Races series and any other books by the lovely Thea Harrison!
I voluntarily read a copy of the book in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and feelings are my own.

4.5 stars--PLANET DRAGOS by Thea Harrison follows Dragos and, a very pregnant and grumpy Pia as they venture to Vegas for Rune and Carling’s wedding. Not only does Dragos have business to attend but ‘Death’s’ appearance pulls Pia onto the Vegas strip where she is no longer safe within the shelter of her mate. Kidnapped but not alone Pia will come face to face with an unknown enemy hoping to destroy all that is Dragos and the Elder Races.
PLANET DRAGOS reveals upcoming changes for the Elder Races and the New York Demesne as Thea Harrison says good-bye, for now, to our leading couple. There are new leaders and players on the horizon but time and experience will be a necessary trial. The story line brings together and revisits with a number of characters introduced throughout the series as well as those featured in the Elder Race’s novellas. A quick read with an engrossing premise PLANET DRAGOS is a dramatic, reflective and passionate story line as we say a temporary good-bye to our reigning couple.

I’ve loved this couple since the first book came out, Dragon Bound, which remains one of the books I reread often so I was a bit sad to find this would be the last in their POV. As with all of the novellas, Thea Harrison packs in a surprising amount of story that well written and fast paced but I’m always left craving for more. I wish that the scenes were fleshed out more, sometimes they go so fast that it feels like it’s over within a chapter. I wanted to get more into Dragos’ and Pia’s minds, especially during the dramatic circumstances of Stinkpot’s birth. I hope one day our kind authoress will compile and expand their stories into one volume because I would buy it in a heartbeat.
I would definitely recommended reading the previous titles in Dragos’ and Pia’s storyline before reading this to have the context to enjoy it. You’ll discover excellent world building, memorable characters and fast paced writing. One of my favorite parts in this novella was when Liam meets his newborn sibling and “aww” inducing snippets about Dragos taking care of the baby.

What a delightful addition to the Elder Races Series!
Once again Pia and Dragos find themselves in a dire situation with an enemy from Dragos' past.
Pia is kidnapped while pregnant with their second child.
What the kidnappers don't realize is that you don't mess with Dragos (The Great Beast) and you certainly don't kidnap his pregnant mate.
He would burn the world to get her back and think nothing of it.
The stakes are high.
The story intense, and it had me on the edge of my seat until the very end.
I loved this story, and I loved seeing appearances from some of my favourite characters from previous books.
If your a fan of The Elder Races Series, then this is definitely a must-read.

I really enjoyed Planet Dragos. I think it wrapped up any loose ends from prior Pia and Dragos books, while still providing a unique and interesting story. In the beginning it focuses on Pia and Dragos and the issues they are having with Pia’s pregnancy. It quickly turns into a fast paced plot with a kidnapping. I loved getting to see some of Dragos’s family, but I don’t want to spoil the book for anyone so I won’t say anymore about that. Overall this is a great read, but it is not an independent story and people who haven’t read the rest of the Elder Races books will be lost right from the beginning. It was great to see so many characters from other novels and novella’s and I am excited for the next chapter in this world. I would recommend this book to any fan of the Elder Races series, and if you haven’t read them go and start from the first book so you can enjoy this novella too. **** I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

“On Planet Dragos everything goes the way he arranges it—unless you decide to cross him, and God help you then, because he doesn’t know how to back down, and he doesn’t ever, ever let up.”
Dragos and Pia have arrived in Las Vegas for Rune and Carling’s wedding. Things are a little tense between Dragos and Pia, who is still pregnant with their second child.
While Pia and her bodyguard, Eva, do some sight seeing, Pia is kidnapped by an old enemy of Dragos. Knowing that without her daily medication Pia’s body will begin to reject the baby, Dragos and his Sentinels race to find out who has taken her.
This novella is a fantastic addition to the Elder Races series. I never get tired of reading about Dragos, Pia, and their adorable family. I loved this novella, I couldn’t put it down. As usual, the only bad thing about it was it ended too quickly!

Pia and Dragos are one of my favorite PNR couples so I am always happy to be back in their world. From their first book DRAGON BOUND, I have enjoyed this couple’s story as well as the spin offs on other characters from the Elder Races series. In this final book from their POV, some storylines come to fruition. Pia and Dragos go to Las Vegas while she is heavily pregnant to attend Rune and Carling’s wedding. Almost immediately, she is kidnapped and finds another mate in her captor’s hands too. They must fight to survive while Dragos threatens tear the world apart to find her.
It’s not easy being married to a dragon most especially this one who has a godlike status. Someone always wants to try taking him down. Pia and their children are his biggest vulnerability so Dragos has been seeking a way to protect them perhaps somewhere other than where they live now. The future seems to hold great changes and many possibilities.
This story will make folks happy and sad at the same time knowing that Dragos and Pia’s story as main characters has come to an end. We can hope to catch glimpses of them in other Elder Race books. I always have a good time with this couple and this tale is no exception. Readers who have been on the journey with this fine couple will want to see it through.

This was a nice novella addition to the Elder Race series. The author brought several characters back together smoothing over previously hurt feelings and maneuvered some others so they were closer to having their own book someday. This book said "goodbye" to Dragos and Pia. At least it's the last planned with them as the main characters. My only complaint: as in many novellas the length of the book limits the depth of the plot and the characters. The antagonist was not a very flushed out. I would like to have known more about the why's and wherefore's of that character. A good bad guy adds a lot. As always, looking forward to her next book.

Dragos and Pia have always been my two favorite characters in the main Elder Races universe; I often read their stories in order again and again. To read their final installment was bittersweet for me, as I feel they've become part of my family.
Once again Thea writes a great story, a story that any married couple could relate to. It's not all sunshine and rainbows with the two of them, and as the novella progresses we are given some surprising revelations and intriguing twists and turns. I like how Thea seamlessly wove in the character of Death from her series, and gave him a more human touch. The conclusion of the story is food for thought and makes you think about your own morality, and what we need for a fulfilling life.
There were some parts that felt rushed. I think another 25 pages or so would have fleshed the story out nicely, but I will just have to use my imagination and fill in the pieces :) However if you've been invested as much as I've been, it's a nice ending for the dragon and his mate.

From New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Thea Harrison comes the final novella featuring Pia and Dragos…
Pia’s latest pregnancy has become a daily challenge, her relationship with Dragos strained with argument. That hasn’t stopped them from achieving a compromise and traveling to Las Vegas to celebrate their friend Rune’s wedding to his mate Carling.
From the moment they arrive, the trip goes awry. Death walks in Vegas, and Pia is kidnapped as an ancient enemy makes a move to destroy the Great Beast once and for all.
But the Great Beast has other plans.
On Planet Dragos everything goes the way he arranges it—unless someone decides to cross him, and God help them then, because he doesn’t know how to back down, and he doesn’t ever, ever let up….
The last Dragos and Pia POV book! I was sad when Thea Harrison wrote this on her blog, but I understand. It’s time for other stories and couples. But Dragon Bound was the first book I read by Thea, in 2011, and it is still my favorite.
That said, I loved this novella. It wraps up the loose ends (Pia’s pregnancy, Liam’s place in society and how Dragos and Pia are going to live the rest of their lives. The plot is thrilling, one last fight, and resolves satisfactory. There is even room for Carling and Rune, my second favorite couple.
I also loved the nods to earlier books (the roar that shook a city, Devil’s Gate, Azrael). And the insight in the coming life Dragos and Pia will have with their second son (trot, trot, trot, BAM!).
All in all it’s a little gem of a book. One I’ll be rereading several times.

This book was a thrill ride from start to finish..Love the Elder Race series and this one was amazing. We are introduced to a couple of new characters especially Stinkpot aka Niall and Azrael. I do so hope that Azrael gets his own book. He took it very well when Pia slapped him. . Plus we got to see some old favorites. I think everyone who was anyone in this series showed up for this book.
I always hate to see the end of her book and I cannot wait to see where Ms. Harrison take us on the next journey into this world. I give this one 5 stars.
I was given ARC in consideration of fair and honest review.

Planet Dragos is action packed and pregnancy induced hormones crazy story featuring two all time favorite characters at their worst & best moments. Ms. Harrison once again nails it with a story designed to ensnare the reader right from the start and provides us with characters that are both likable and believable. The novella is very well written and highly entertaining! Though the book can be read alone, I’d highly suggest reading it in the series order in order to understand the background and characters better.

Another excellently crafted novella in Thea's Elder races series. Along with a host of characters from previous books Pia and Dragos are in Los Vegas to celebrate the wedding of Rune and Carling. A heavily pregnant Pia is not having an easy time with her second pregnancy and with Dragos's normal overly protective tendencies already on high alert when Pia is kidnapped by an unknown villain the safety of the entire universe is in doubt as Dragos struggles to reign in his urge to destroy anyone and anything in his quest to find Pia. I especially enjoyed the glimpses of characters we have met in the earlier books and while I understand the novella is primarily about Dragos and Pia and Rune and Carling I was a little disappointed by how little the characters from previous books actually appear. Regardless this is an extremely well developed complex highly enjoyable story infused with action, tension, intense emotions and of course an excellent HEA. The novella also introduces a fascinating new character who we will all be impatiently waiting for future glimpses of.

Wow! This book was a complete game changer for two of our favorite characters and the entire world Thea Harrison has built in the Elder Races series. Pia and Dragos are out of New York again, this time in Vegas. The new baby makes an appearance and then our two favorite characters make a decision that will change the course of the entire series. I don't want to spoil anything, so I will just say that this is a must read. One not to be missed.

This is a review for Planet Dragos by Thea Harrison. Planet Dragos is a novella and is actually the final story with Dragos & Pia as the lead “point of view” characters based from Thea’s “Elder Races” series.
OMG Planet Dragos is the best happily ever after/family reunion I have read in a long, long time! You guys are going to totally love it!!! Being that it’s a novella it is unfortunately shorter than I think we would all like. Planet Dragos is packed with all of your favorite Elder Races characters gathering for a wedding, where you will find a total surprise unbeknown existence of an important family member, lots of Elder action, major decisions being made, the birth of a beautiful baby and the beginning of a new era for the Elder Races. I warn you, you will NOT be able to put this novella down once you start reading, so pick out a comfy spot!
With the introduction of a new and in my opinion, a VERY intriguing character I am positive that Thea Harrison has another “Elder Races” book in mind for all of us in the future (at least I most certainly hope so). You WILL NOT regret purchasing this novella, I totally loved it if you can’t tell!
I will end my review with this…Did you know Death can make you giggle & has a softer side!?!

Wow. Dragos and Pia are still my favorite couple of this series. And they do not disappoint in this book. With the authors usual riveting style I could not put this book down. There are many changes in this book that are going to take this series in a completely different path. I can not wait to see what happens next. I hope in the future we see more about Liam and the baby. I am eagerly awaiting the next book.

This novella is sadly the last one featuring Dragos and Pia’s POV. Frankly, with the conclusion of this story I saw an entire world of possibilities for Dragos, Pia and little Stinkpot. As an avid reader of Thea Harrison’s works, I would gladly welcome more books with Dragos and Pia’s POV.
The story itself is amazing. It answers questions about Dragos that surfaced for anyone that read, Oracle’s Moon. It also gave us a look at the evolution of Dragos into a man that values his mate and family, instead of just the beast that rules the Wry demesne. I believe that any fan of Thea Harrison or the Elder Races series will love Planet Dragos.

Dragos still you know states the obvious and is still blunt, "and as you are well aware, I’ve read several books about pregnancy. I’ve decided to consider you somewhat insane until the baby is born.” Dragos is just very passionate about his woman, “holy gods, woman,” he said in her ear. “You are my everything.” I l iked this book, I liked seeing how Dragos and Pia were doing.

Another great adventure with Pia and Dragos.
Pia is really With Child. And we get the fun of late stage preggerness.
This novella moves the series into a new arc and is great that way.
And the new baby is everything. Plus, powerful Pia, Sexy Dragos, some new beings and old friends.

Thea Harrison's Planet Dragos is another wonderful story depicting Dragos and Pia. We see them journeying to Las Vegas for Rune and Carling's wedding, where they confront an old enemy when Pia is kidnapped. Pia's forthright demeanor and Dragos' need to dominate and protect his family is just as good now, as it was in Dragon Bound. One scene in their bedroom, close to the end of the story between Pia and the new baby, made me laugh out loud! That said, Planet Dragos was a bittersweet read for me, since it is their last story from their point of view. Ms. Harrison gives Dragos and Pia a fitting end that the reader will appreciate.

I loved this (final) installment in Dragos and Pia’s story. For such a quick read, Ms. Harrison packed in a lot. I always enjoy the world building and characterizations. Having the opportunity to see Carling and Rune again was something I really enjoyed. I hesitate to say this is a standalone read. At the least I think you’d need a passing familiarity with the Elder Races Series (which I recommend picking up the first one where we first meet Pia and Dragos). What’s great is seeing the progression of Dragos and Pia’s relationship. For those who have followed again, the story closes out the novella installments and sets up for the next full-length novel--which I'm now waiting even more impatiently for the release date!

As with any book by Thea Harrison, you get plenty of action, some mystery and lots of romance. The characters and the stories remain with you long after they are done. This one is a must read for anyone who has followed Pia and Dragos, while it’s not a long book it does have a major impact on the elder race series so you do not want to miss it.

I have always loved reading about Pia and Dragos and this book was no different. I love how their story has progressed to have even more depth and I really enjoy reading about their children! A lot changes for them in this book and I'm curious to see what comes next- I've heard this is the last novella for Pia and Dragos which I'm a little bummed about but hopefully that means there will be another full length book coming because I feel like this novella left a lot of doors open for future stories!

I really enjoyed this book. It was different from the previous Pia and Dragos novels, it just had a different feel to it - but it was a fitting addition to their stories. There was action, excitement, drama, humor and love, all of the hallmarks I look for in a Thea Harrison novel. I highly recommend it!

Finally more Pia and Dragos. While I love everything Thea Harris writes and this was as usual a great story I think it needed to be little longer with more details. It just seemed a little rushed like she was trying to condense an entire novel into a novella. That being said I want more Pia, Dragos, Peanut, and Stinkpot. I also think they need a little girl UniDragon, we can call her SassyPants.

Another exciting novella from Thea Harrison featuring my two favorite characters, Dragos and Pia. There were more surprises than I thought possible in a novella which made it literally impossible to put down. The writing is as always top notch, with world-building, character development, dialogue, you name it. And based on the ending, which I will not give away in any detail here, you know there are some big new things coming in future books. Can I say "exciting" one more time in this review?

Yet another great story by Thea Harrison! This book had all the Dragos/Pia components that made me fall in love with them in the first place! The story, while a novella, is well-written and fast paced! The only thing I was a little disappointed with was that this final book featuring Dragos and Pia as main characters was a novella rather than a full length novel. Call me greedy in wanting to live in their lives as much as possible!
