Very inspiring, great acronym (Savers) to have a miracle morning. Also watched his story on youtube [...] and now transformed my own life.
Don't let the small size of the book put you off. It is a life changer.

At first, I thought the guarantee was a bit bold: "guaranteed to transform your life." But it is true! I have already begun putting the "miracle morning" practices into action and am seeing results.. faster than I cold ever imagine. This book not only makes good sense, with a clear, well-described morning ritual for those who want to increase their writing productivity... it provides massive value by describing exactly what to do each step of the way. There are six steps (and a memorable acronym "SAVERS") that, if put into practice, are life-changing. How to restate affirmations alone is an "a-ha" worth the investment in time. Good job. Great book.

I can say I’ve read many personal development books over the last 30 plus years. Some authors I’ve been able to incorporate their suggestions and others authors assumed their readers lived cloistered lives. Their recommendations were unrealistic to implement – at least for me. I’m a Mother of a child with a disability, a wife and run a homebased business. My life is BUSY and can often be unpredictable. Stuff happens – distractions all the time – it’s my life.
The purpose of the book is to help you create a system(s) that keep you focused. I’ve been able to implement most of their suggestions from the beginning and I’m progressing nicely. I haven’t hit a 1000 words a day yet – but with their tools and suggestions, I know I will hit my goal soon! If you are serious about getting to the next level – this book can help you get create a system that works for you.

After reading The Miracle Morning by Hal Elrod, I followed the steps that have truly transformed my life. I use to be that person who would hit the snooze button (sometimes every 7 minutes for an hour!) to realize that I’m late, once again. A mad dash would ensue every time to get ready for work and out the door, which resulted in added stress. Now when my alarm clock goes off at 4am I jump out of bed excited to do my Life S.A.V.E.R.S. Today marked my 75th day.
When I saw The Miracle Morning for Writers, I couldn’t have been more thrilled. Writing has always been something that I’ve wanted to do but never “had the time”. This book is amazing as it not only helps you find the time with S.A.V.E.R.S, but also gives you the tools for how to write more and get past that mental block that writers are often faced with. My only regret is that I did not discover The Miracle Morning sooner. This is a must read if you want to change your life with your writing. I could not recommend this book enough!!! Amazingly done...once again.

As a huge fan of "The Miracle Morning" series & an aspiring author, I was extremely excited for this book to release. It did not disappoint!
This book was exactly what I needed to "cure" my writer's block and build the daily habits to be a successful writer. I highly recommend this to anyone who writes for a living (or wants to start).

TMM FOR WRITERS is chock full of excellent material, even if most of it isn’t original or even unique to the book that started the series.
My main criticism of the content as it relates to achieving success—including financial success—as a writer can be summed up in four words: “Easier said than done.” Let’s make that five words: “Much easier said than done.” In presenting freelance writing opportunities, for example, the book recommends Craig’s List and Upwork (formerly known as Elance and oDesk, which were merged into the single new entity), among other similar sites. Many writers who have ample experience with these two channels will attest that the likelihood of doing anything other than struggling to eke out very meager earnings on either of these sites is slim to none. Likewise, the process of engaging a good literary agent and getting work published by a mainstream publishing house is made out to be far less challenging than it is in practice for the vast majority of aspiring writers.
Where TMM FOR WRITERS most excels is in terms of its distillation of important findings from the literature on success—dating back decades, to the likes of Napoleon Hill and Dale Carnegie, to more contemporary figures such as Stephen Covey and the inimitable Anthony Robbins. Also valuable are many of the recommended resources throughout the book, although the reader needs to exercise caution, as some of these resources may not lead writers in a productive direction. Prime examples are Craig’s List and Upwork, mentioned above, which can be tremendous time sucks and “races to the bottom” more than anything else.
The authors refer to the routines at the heart of the miracle morning as Life S.A.V.E.R.S. (Silence, Affirmations, Visualization, Exercise, Reading and Scribing). The book offers an easy way of gradually incorporating these habits into one’s daily routine: start by devoting one minute to each, for a total of just six minutes! This strikes me as a rather ingenious way of getting a foothold onto a set of routines that for most of us might otherwise seem overwhelming.
Certainly, any writer can benefit from the routines described here, even if financial success may be more challenging to achieve than the book makes it out to be. In fact, the best way of approaching TMM FOR WRITERS may be with this in mind.

Sometimes I think negative reviews are more important. This book is for someone who has no initiative what so ever. If you can't make yourself get up in the morning this stupid book is for you. Chances are you will never be a writer if you need instructions on how to have a productive day. So, don't waste your money. I mistakenly bought this and didn't read the reviews. Notice the title says for writers. I assumed we were talking about someone who has been writing and maybe he had some valid input to contribute; wrong. There are so many terrific books on the market that if you closed your eyes and picked another suggestion from the store it would have to be better. If this guy can write this book and post it to the store anyone can. Save your money. When you go to bed set your morning alarm and make a list for what you are going to accomplish the next day. This is basically what this book will tell you to do.

This might be helpful for someone brand new to creative writing, or someone who has never read a self-help book. It presents a list of "best way to start your day" (journal, brush your teeth, etc) with writing best practices (write every day, find a productive place to do it, etc)

I received an advanced review copy of this book, in exchange for this honest review.
This review is a bit longer than I intended. So to make a long story short, this is the kind of book that can help take your career to a higher level. Even if you have read other writing books, I can virtually guarantee you don’t know everything in this book. It is loaded with some pretty big insights from three HUGELY successful authors.
I found out about this book because I follow Steve Scott’s work. I had also heard about Hal Elrod’s book “The Miracle Morning”, although I haven’t had the time to read it yet (too long of a reading list).
If you are new to writing, you may not be sure yet who the key people are that are worth following, but in my opinion Steve Scott easily ranks at the top. If you feel like you are starting from ground zero with no mailing list, no fans, no anything, I’m sure Steve Scott felt like that at one point too. He’s a bigger name now, but he isn’t famous for anything in particular. Many of the big name writers are. They may be big name bloggers, celebrities, coaches, executives, or professors. There is a lot to compete with, but he has clearly done well even against all of this pressure. You will want to learn from him.
In this business, many are eager to give advice, but it makes the most sense to follow it from the people who are where you want to be in 5 or 10 years.
Steve Scott has been that for me.
I have made slow and steady progress. But I am a professional at what I do, and I owe much of my progress to him. If you don’t want to follow everything Steve Scott does like I do, you don’t have to. The most important things you need to know are in this book.
Because I have followed his podcast, blogs, newsletters, Facebook groups, etc., I was perhaps not surprisingly already familiar with some of what he said in this book. But he covers the most important things writers need to focus on, and it is always good to review these. As silly as it sounds, there are so many distractions that you can easily forget what the important things are.
What was new for me was the S.A.V.E.R.S. part of the book, which is taken more from Hal Elrod’s “Miracle Morning”. Of course, here it is applied to writing. Also, the book helped me to realize the importance of mornings. I have gradually struggled to become more and more of a morning person, but this book is helping me really nail that down. I resisted against putting my alarm clock across the room, but after sleeping through too many alarms, I know I need to do it. And I know its cliché now, but I used to be a night owl too. So if I can do it, you can too.
I also admit I am trying the affirmations (trust me, these are a different kind of affirmation from anything you may have heard elsewhere), and I find it so useful to have about 5 affirmations that really serve as reminders of what is truly important for me in life and in business. In a world with a million things vying for our attention, this sort of tool is more important now than ever.
My parting words of wisdom? Be optimistic and energetic about what you do. But be happy with small wins. Try to get the small wins whenever you can. Pile those up through time, and you’ll make a career.

Steve, Hal and Honorée have put together an amazing book to help you launch from being a hobbyist-writer to being a Writer. They have broken down word count per hour to a science. They give you the spreadsheets headers (most importantly since I'm an engineer) to create the data through monitoring your word count and mood to create the best writing possible.
I give a preview below:

• Total time blocks for the session
• Total word count
• Average word count per block (divide word count by the num-

• Notes of anything that helped or hindered your writing

Without a doubt there are wonderful, informative, and damn entertaining books out there for writers today. I know, because, I own quite a few of them. I was "Lucky" enough to be included in a small group of readers to read and review the book. Let me be clear, I am a writer, up and currently working on my first work of fiction. Many of the books I own have been very educational in regards to better learning my craft. "The Miracle Morning" blows the competition away. This is a definative book on writing, marketing, publishing and most importantly the one time of the day that most writers are at their peak, but do not do anything to take advantage of the morning. When you look inside the Table Of Contents you soon realize that this is a priceless treasure that beckons the writer on a incrediable journey of self worth and discovery. Hal Erod and the other wonderful authors who have contributed to the making of this valued treasure. I didn't get payment for this review, ha, what I got was lucky, I got a look in to my own future as a published author, and my future looks great thanks to the incrediable writing in this book. Make this book yours, buy it, read it, absorb it and implement the techniques that are handed to you on a silver tray. I did not have to write this review, i could have kept my mouth shut and kept my enthusiam for myself. However since the group allowed me to read this for free how could I not return the favor and help that next author who is looking for the best advice out there in regards to writing. Get this book, don't put it off, make it happen for you and your future in writing. Sure there are cheaper books out there, sure there are books that have more reviews, sure you can come up with many reasons why you shouldnt buy, I only have one reason to give a five star review of this book. I have read the best, all the rest and this book, The Miracle Morning, is by far the Greatest book out there today for writers.

There is good advice here. Very similar to his other TMM book, not much changes in TMM for Writers. If you've read TMM then you're good -- no need to read the "for Writers" version. But do yourself a favor and read one of the TMM books. They contain useful and actionable steps to help you ensure you make miracles every day in your own life.

Well written and organized despite much of this information I've heard or read in other content. This was very easy to read and a great resource. There are so many more resources added to this content that make this book valuable to any writer just getting started. If you've been writing for some time or struggling this is a great way to get back on track or strengthen your writing habits and practices. Well Done.

I just blasted through this amazing book. I've been working on a novel for the last few months. During the NaNoWriMo challenge, my word count went through the roof. Then as life took over (read: laziness, doubt and financial worries), my attention to the writing of this novel shifted. Sure, I'd write a few times a week but what I really wanted to was an everyday practice.
The Miracle Morning for Writers hands you an easy-to-follow inspirational approach. I'm on day #2 of my Miracle Morning and loving life. Yesterday, I wrote one solid uninterrupted hour on my novel. It dawned up on me that by applying Life S.A.V.E.R.S to my practice, I had enough energy to write an additional hour.
Read it and you'll start making smart action towards your writing career.

Miracle Morning has changed my life and business. I set the goal to write a book in September of 2015 and by the one act of getting up an hour earlier, was able to publish 9 months later in August 2016. Both Hal Elrod and Steve Scott are tremendous role models and mentors. I credit much of my recent success to the SAVERS and the power of the Miracle Morning.
