Particularly for a first book , this is a very good account of the problems faced by servicemen in Afganistan . It is also a plausible account of trying to get people out of the control of the Taliban.

I stayed up until Midnight January 31st waiting for the release and upload to my Kindle. As soon as downloaded, I began reading...and couldn't stop until I finished the book well after daylight on Tuesday morning! This is by far one of the better works in this genre. I can tell Dalton took his time crafting this story. If you are looking for a great weekend read that will get your adrenalin pumping, this is your book!! I was ready to invade pakistan by myself when I finished. Just a great read!

It is a good story, fast moving and gripping. Although it is a story, I wonder about the burden of serving our country in combat. We owe a large debt to these men and women. I can't wait for the next book from Dalton Fury.

Even better than Mitch Rapp and Jack Reacher series. I hope the sequels by the author become available on CD soon. Plus, the author was actually in the special forces so the terminology is accurate and it is very believable.

I loved the Mitch rapp and reacher series. While this is a different kind of character, i really enjoyed it. Kolt is not as dominate as Mitch rapp's character, but the story line actually seems more believable.

I didnt know what to expect when I downloaded the book. The plot, story and characters continued to evolve as the book went on, and i enjoyed it greatly. The stage is set for an exciting series, and i am already looking forward to the next edition.

Really great read. Would recommend to everyone I know. Emotional, geared toward the armed forces, character is someone you can cheer for. Truthfully I bought this because I read the reviews on it as well as seeing a couple of people on Facebook recommending it.

Finally took the plunge for rad Dalton Fury, and I'm glad I did. Just another author to add to the stable of authors like Brad Thor, Ben Coes and company. Sadly, Vince Flynn, my favorite is no longer with us.

...and my initial reaction when I was confronted with the selection of names for the protagonists , secondary and tertiary cast was an affirmation that this bok would be a complete loser. I expected a real stinkeroo.
A secondary support player in this book is named Bob Kopleman. What a great choice for the star of this show THAT would have been.
Imagine, Bob "Pussycat" Kopleman.
Now THATs a hero"s name.
The "star" is Kolt "Racer" Raynor. Really. Kolt with a "K". That is what they saddle this poor schmuck with.
A pin stuck in the white pages of any metro phone book would have made a better and more natural sounding name. OK.
You got what you got. Is this character perfect? Not even close.
But...this book is very good indeed. Not totally excellent. But VERY good.
It is entertaining and not full or reader insulting mistakes, and THAT is important.
The plot is a little bit, OK more than a bit of a stretch, but again not completely foolish, and there is enough
to make one keep reading.
So this first fiction effort by Author Fury is an excellent platform from which to continue a series. maybe Kolt can have his name legally
altered.
I do recommend this book. A fun, entertaining and interesting read.

I've read just about every terrorist type book out there, and this blows them all away. Scarily believable, fast paced, and you just never know whats coming next. Absolutely loved it, as did my everyone I told about it. Can't wait for the next one!

Intriguing, intense, and exciting are words I use to describe Black Site to my friends. There are many elements of surprise and suspense that keep you wanting to turn the pages. Great work and I look forward to reading Dalton Fury's next Delta Force novel.

Good Plot with action. However, it lacks details on take-down methods and weaponry. The writing is somewhat pedantic, and speech is too grammatically correct and lacks variety to fit the specific backgrounds of the various characters involved. Over edited with filler material.
