everything you expect of a action adventure military novel with sprinkles of dark humor mixed in. I grew up reading alex rider novels, this seems to be a grown up sobered and action packed version..... with a few cans of bad ass in it. i recommend it.

Awesome Book. Couldn't put it down. MASTER CHEIF Gil Shannon's character developed fast. His attitude and demeanor throughout the book as 1st class. The many fighting scenes in the book were intense and very realistic. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND this book.

This is about rescuing a fellow military person. It is more a man's book but I was into it and didn't stop reading. The sniper was intriguing and the storyline will make you wonder if our country works this way. Probably.

Written as if you were tagging along with a 'real' elite special ops guy. Very well written and I especially liked the government "direction" (mismanagement?) and the feeling that you got into the head of our hero and he was a dedicated but caring individual!

A well written book with enough material to hold your attention. Perhaps a few too many acronyms to keep up with unless you have a military background. Enjoyable to read, but plot has really been done....or over done, and done, and done

An excellent book depicting a Navy Seal and his daring, brave rescue of a female special ops pilot. Twists, danger, complex characters, and closer to truth than fiction than the public knows. A great read and I am waiting for a sequel.

Scott McEwen's Sniper Elite is a breathtaking, riveting, ride from the very beginning and a roller coaster ride through the entire book. If you like reading anything about US Navy Seals, you will love this book. Can't wait for the next book.

Outstanding novel into the world of special forces and covert missions.
These soldiers are the elite of our military. Hats off to these warriors for their dedication and service.
Scott McEwen brings them into your home with this book.

The best fictional account of Navy Seals in the GWOT that I have read to date!! I hope this author decides to write another as this effort was outstanding!! I read in one sitting, and am positive you will struggle to put this book down until finished!! I highly recommend!!

Stellar read that ends too quickly. I devoured this book in less than 48 hours. Weapons, tactics, and bravery of SpecOps all very authentic. I defy anyone to read this book and not rave about it afterwards. I hope there are more to come from Mr. McEwen.

One of the most enjoyable novels of military actions I read in a long time. Excellent writhing style and keeping reader interest. The last couple of chapters kept me from putting the novel down. Several twists and turns all full of excitement. This was one of the best stories I read in quite a while.

One of the most exciting books that I have read. It is almost non-stop action with some colorful characters. There is enough technical information (weapons) that may be authentic, I wouldn't know either way. Plenty of heroes and villains.

Yes, it's that entertaining. I only have two chapters left, but what a great read. Definitely keeps you on the edge. I don't want to waste a bunch of time going through details, but if you like this kind of read, you will love this book. Well done.

Excellent read, a snap shot of reality in modern warrior craft, including the challenges of political maneuvering, friendship, and awesome skill and technology. Plenty of twists and turns. Can't wait to read more by Scott McKewen.

Fast paced story of an American superhero in the elite forces. Good action segments with our one man army as his deadly array of skills are unleashed on the evil enemy. If you like CIA special forces drama, this is a great read.

I thought this was an excellent book. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and found myself eagerly waiting to get back to it after putting it down. Sometimes I couldn't put it down. I recommend this book highly to any one whether a veteran or not.

This is my first book by McEwen and Koloniar, and to sum it up, i really enjoyed. The book starts with an adagio and builds to a crescendo. It leaves the door open for a sequel, I hope it is published soon.

This book was a great read. The lead character was a little too close to Superman but I'm sure there are members of our military that come close. The conflict between political goals and military goals is far too real.

My book club recommended this. It was my first Scott McEwen book. It won't be my last! I am a USMC veteran and I knew every character in the book. Scott McEwen does an incredible job bringing his characters to life.

A very good story about a military sniper and his efforts to save a hostage in Afghanistan. I enjoyed this book enough to rate it and hope a sequel will be forth coming. We'll worth your time read and enjoy.

Very engaging. Accurate military terminology. Realistic situations and outcomes. Includes accurate information regarding philosophy and behaviours of Muslims. In addition, shows several reasons why women DON'T belong in combat zones. I am a woman reviewing this. I love freedom and a well written, kick-ass book that showcases male courage in a positive way!

The authors have given our magnificent Warriors a much deserved high five. You have created a work that could not be put down to the finish. Thank you for writing this work. A must read for those who love our military.

Story is a fast paced, page turner. Scott McEwen did an excellent job of making me visualize each and every scene. He also brought up the psychological difficulties facing snipers, which I've never read before.

The authors have provided an exciting and fast paced black ops action story. The characters are well defined and while there is a bit of cowboy actions along the way they do not detract from the storyline.

This was an amazing read. The characters were rich and well rounded, the story was great, and the pace was smooth. I finished the book in two sittings.

I am not Military so I cannot vouch for the technical accuracy of a lot of the details, but it's meant to be a good read, not non-fiction.

This was start to finish.....a great read. I enjoy other military action books but this one may be a new favorite, even if a bit far fetched from time to time. Highly entertaining, very fast and brutal action.
