Sweet holy titfire. This book/ series. I literally sat with my hand over my mouth while holding my breath 75% of this book. This is like What shocked me the most is the realism. Especially in today's day and age. It doesn't sound that unfathomable. Kudos to the author for this book. I cannot wait until the conclusion.

Book one, The Maiden left you with several questions. In book two those questions are answered. However in book two several more questions are formed. I love all the up and downs, twists and turns in this series. I love the way Celia writes. Just enough hints and insights to keep you guessing and devouring each chapter hungry for more.

First off I’m so happy this is finally available.

This was amazingly written. So many twists. I’m shocked and I screamed when I got to the last page. My hands were shaking. This is my favorite author. I’ve read everything and I haven’t been disappointed. I need the next book.

My heart is breaking!!! Adam! He has suffered so much and seems he is destined to suffer more. Delilah has the drive to bring it all down but how can she when the whole world seems to be against her. I am so eager to see what happens next!!!

Because this story is so disturbing and outright horrific I want to give it a 1. But the characters and world building are so well written and I can't stop reading so it gets a 4, you promised redemption and light at some point...please get there in book 3!!!

What a cliffhanger!!! Please don’t put Adam through anymore, you are torturing us!!!!! This keeps getting darker and these characters are so messed up. I cannot wait until the next book. Well done Ms. Aaron this was a hell of a read and that ending gutted me!!!

Phenomenal read that gets better with each book. Expect the unexpected!!! So dark.. so twisted... You root for the good and hate the evil. Riveting, you’ll devour and race to get book 3. I highly recommend this read!

The twists and turns in this dark tale are fantastic. Delilah and Adam continue to fight an uphill battle to get what they need from their time at the Cloister. This is one of the hottest mind bending stories I've read. I absolutely love it.

I didn't think the craziness could get any worse. Boy was I wrong! Delilah is still stuck in this hell and she's hoping Adam can save her. Along the way she doesn't know who she can trust and who wants to kill her.

Painful and amazing
horrible but in a good way, the writing, the events, and the characters are all introduced in a way that kept me invested in the book nonstop and it's a torture to wait another month to read the final book.

This book picks up from where The Maiden left off. I loved the backstory on how Adam became who he is today. The twists and turns keep coming and Delilah and Adam keep me hooked on this series and I'm ready for what's next.

This book felt a good bit shorter than the first. It’s still a very good suspenseful story, but if the final book is the same length as this, it would have been better as a standalone than a trilogy.

This book is off the chain ??.. So many twists and turns! You think your prepared and kind of know what to expect from reading the first book. But this book proves to you the Prophet is crazier than you thought.

This series has everything I love. You never know what is going to happen next. Adam is trying everything he can to save Delilah/Emily even though his entire messed up family is in his way. Delilah is still trying to unravel the mystery of Georgia's death while trying to survive. Definitely recommend this series!
