Nora Roberts has done it again. The way she brings characters to life is enchanting. I loved reading this part of the trilogy and following the lives of the women involved. I especially loved the plot line of the Harper Bride. Needless to say, the gardens were an intricate part of this book and their descriptions were just lovely.

This book was great! Even better than Blue Dahlia, it was more suspenseful and had more meaning. It showed that there is no age limit on finding love. It also sets up the next book well with Harper and Hayley seemingly starting to have feelings for each other. It's nice how these books just fall into place. It makes you think, what else could possibly happen, it is just so logical! I cannot wait for the last book in the trilogy, Red Lily, comes out!

book was excellent, a little used, but certainly readable. I'm very partial to large print books. A friend & I were looking for this book (the middle in the trilagy) and were having a difficult time finding it. You came through for us!

Requires "willing suspension of disbelief" for the ghost part, but ties some mystery and detective work with romance. Continues where "Blue Dahlia" left off but shifts emphasis to another pair of lovers.

Black Rose, the sequel to Blue Dahlia, was a quick and highly entertaining read. As a mature reader, I enjoyed seeing an older protagonist for a change. Nora Roberts rarely fails in the entertainment category; she also manages to share some interesting informational content.
