This is a great trilogy, I recommend to anyone. I am almost finished with the 3 books now.

Fantastic that they came out in paperback instead of hardback to begin with, and also so close together so you didn't have to wait a year for the next book.

Great stuff.

I have read all three books, and I definitely say you should read them in their order. These are good books alone, but the series is just too good to be ignored. This last book was just damn good! Brent Weeks has come out of nowhere and captured me with his writing, his characters, and his view of this world (not all nice, believe me). I will not go into the plot (enough people have done that), but I will say do not miss this series. He has climbed into my top ten from this series, and if he continues he will be in my top 3 - 5. Great book, great series... do read!!!

Great ending for a great series. I read this series twice and still got excited about the characters and what they were going through. I thought the 3rd book could have stretched into 4 and the ending seemed rushed but I still loved it. You will also.

The Way of Shadows started out with promise but by the end of the series, well it just gets infuriating. The book is seriously in need of a competent editor - too many inconsistencies and cliches. Characters randomly take on traits of pop-culture characters. There are a number of scenes where the main character suddenly looks, talks, and acts like Batman for no damn good reason other than what appears to be lazy writing. And the business with the earrings was downright infuriating. Earrings which, thrown in as a sudden plot twist, turn one half of a married couple into a remote controlled automaton. Seriously, why didn't these characters even TRY to rip them out of their ears? There is just way too much stupid by the last book in this series. I'm not even going to start with that ending. Mercy.

Durzo Blint and Azoth's interactions truely made this book great. I actually found myself feeling Azoth's frustration, admiration and respect he had for his master/father figure. This trilogy was truely a great read!

Beautiful ending to the Night Angel trilogy. At times it dips from beautiful prose and drama to a little bit melodramatic but not in a displeasing way. I can't recommend this trilogy or this author high enough.

I absolutely loved this series. I was glued to all 3 books the entire time I was reading them. I wish there was more books of this series!

I just started book 2 of the Lightbringer series and I am yet again glued. Can't wait to find out what happens next.

Great writing Brent! Please write more!!!
