I normally love these books. This one, however, did not have enough straightforward questions that can be asked of anybody. Some of them are best left to asking oneself and not another person unless you know them very well. There are some really deep and/or convoluted questions. Many of the questions I have to skip because they are not really conducive to having fun with getting to know somebody.

I was under the impression when I bought this item that it was going to have fun, interesting questions to answer each day. I was planning on keeping it on my desk at work as a conversation starter. But these questions range from dull to WTF? Not the fun, light-hearted item I thought I was buying. Disappointed.

Make sure you read the questions before sharing them with your kindergarten classes who are practicing spoken English. Here is an example of one question that I wouldn't use in a kindergarten class. There should be a rating to exclude these easily.
Greatest Dot-to-Dot Book in the World (Book 2) - Relaxing Puzzles :: What's Different? (Dover Little Activity Books) :: Francis of the Filth :: Archangel's Kiss (Guild Hunter, Book 2) :: 400 Brain Games for Every Day (USA Today Puzzles)

These aren't engaging, thought provoking, philosophical questions. These are completely unrealistic, idiotic ideas that will never exist in reality and therefore are a complete waste of time. The writing stinks of unhealthy nationalism, limited B&W thinking and a dubious moral code - conceived by an obvious power tripper, who likes to imagine playing god. This is going straight in the recycle bin. Waste of money.

"If a country hit the U.S. with a nuclear bomb, would you favor unleashing our nuclear arsenal upon them?"

"Would you be willing to murder an innocent child to end hunger in the world. If so, what if the child had to be yours?"
"What if you had to tourture the child to death to save those millions from hunger?"

"Would you be willing to become physically ugly if it meant you could live 100 more years at your current physical age?"

"If you could anonymously and safely destroy any one persons reputation online through various postings, would you? If so, who and why"

"If you could release viruses engineered to extinguish any 3 species, you wished, what animals or plants would you get rid of?"

"Given that a woman can conceive a child long after a menopause by using a frozen egg, is there an age beyond which it should be illegal for women to bear children?"

I was expecting some couples-appropriate and thought provoking questions. Instead, you will be asked about disturbing questions such as appropriateness of child pornography, or becoming a quadralapegic in return for saving blue whales.

This book was freaking horrible. Negative stars would be nice. How this is a best seller is beyond me.

This book is HIGHLY recommended for parties, travelling with family and friends or striking up a conversation. This book will make you think and understand about your decision-making when it comes to love, money, sex and other subjects. This is not a "right or wrong" answer book -- this is filled with questions about knowing yourself and others.

There is way too much time travel and magic involved for me to take these questions seriously. Additionally, it seems like the book assumes whoever the questions are being asked of has heterosexual, married parents and is entirely opposed to one night stands. Doesn't sound too modern to me!

I expected more personal questions. I was disappointed to see that under the questions there are no lines to write but just blank space and I personally like writing with lines because I write when there aren't.
