Breath of the Wild The Complete Official Guide - The Legend of Zelda
Breath of the Wild The Complete Official Guide - The Legend of Zelda

Review:Even though this package took a while to get, I’m glad I finally received it yesterday afternoon. I was excited but at the same time amazed at how large the book was. It definitely felt like one of those school text books to me lol. I can’t wait to start my Zelda: BoTW over again with this new strategy guide I received. Read more

The Royal Road to Card Magic
The Royal Road to Card Magic

Review:I'm ashamed to admit that this wasn't the first card trick book I ever bought. This book walks you through every amateur sleight of hand any card-magician-to-be could ever hope to learn with a bounty of helpful illustrations, along with very deep text. While some of it is a little difficult to wade through, it is well worth the effort. The tricks, with rare exception, are excellent, and the way in which they are taught is very user-friendly. Instead of teaching seven or eight sleights of h... Read more

The Noble Hustle: Poker, Beef Jerky, and Death
The Noble Hustle: Poker, Beef Jerky, and Death

Review:An entertaining read. It'll make you laugh and it'll make you cringe, but one thing it won't do is teach you anything about the game of poker -- that said, perhaps that's not the point of the book. If you're looking for a good satire and a good laugh, it's a good read. Read more

The People Puzzler Book: Jumbo Edition
The People Puzzler Book: Jumbo Edition

Review:Everything met my expectations. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it was a birthday present someone bought for their mom. The seller glued a piece of paper over the birthday message. Even though I enjoy doing these puzzles I wish the mom would have taken the time to try to enjoy her gift. Read more

Quidditch Through the Ages (Hogwarts Library book)
Quidditch Through the Ages (Hogwarts Library book)

Review:I loved the other short story ebooks published by J.K. Rowling, but Quidditch Through the Ages disappoints. It could be because it's supposed to be an actual book for wizards by 'Kennilworthy Whisp,' but it dragged on and on about history, teams, plays, etc. etc. I thought, "Okay, you can stop making stuff up now." I would recommend the others over this book: 'Short Stories from Hogwarts of Power, Politics and Pesky Poltergeists,' 'Hogwarts: An Incomplete and Unreliable Guide,' and 'Short Storie... Read more

Disney Dreams Collection Thomas Kinkade Studios Coloring Book
Disney Dreams Collection Thomas Kinkade Studios Coloring Book

Review:I ordered this book based on the pictures it showed in the preview. I ordered it in March and it arrived in Sept. I was excited to get it. Well I was very disappointed. The pictures to color are good. The color plate pictures are awful. The colors in the color plates are smeared, blurry or pixilated. The faces were so over inked that they looked dark orange. There were some of the color plates that were nice, but I would say that over 3/4 of them were very bad. If you want the book just to be ... Read more

An Inner Journey to Optimal Performance - The Art of Learning

Review:One of my favorite book, greats gems here and there and it's also very agreeable to read. But need some serious 'extraction' to put it in practice because it's deep diffuse principles most of the time Read more

One Girl's Triumphant Path to Becoming a Chess Champion
One Girl's Triumphant Path to Becoming a Chess Champion

Review:The Queen of Katwe is both a heartbreaking and awe inspiring story. As I read the first chapters, my heart ached for the people in Uganda, especially Phiona who lives in the slums. But even though her life is made up of sheer day-to-day survival, her love of family and faith in God sustains her. Phiona is an amazing young lady who has an incredible aptitude for the game of chess. The more I read of Phiona's story, the more I understood her determination, hope, endurance, and strong love for fami... Read more

Lessons and Teachings in No Limit Texas Hold'em - Phil Gordon's Little Green Book
Lessons and Teachings in No Limit Texas Hold'em - Phil Gordon's Little Green Book

Review:Very advanced book for poker players. Bad enough to calculate odds of a winning hand, but to complicate poker with pot size and table position is over my head. Will take multiple readings to understand. Read more
