Even though this package took a while to get, I’m glad I finally received it yesterday afternoon. I was excited but at the same time amazed at how large the book was. It definitely felt like one of those school text books to me lol. I can’t wait to start my Zelda: BoTW over again with this new strategy guide I received.

This guide is amazing! The cover is gorgeous and comes with a very nice folded map. The content is organized very well so you can find things rather quickly. My book was shipped very well and I didnt receive a beat up book like others have.

514 pages of goodness. Not only does it have everything the first did, contains so much more. Best places for farming crafting supplies, best effects, what all merchants offer. I very much love the atlas section is my favorite!

Overall binding and quality of the book aside; contents are very well layed out. The step through guide was great even if you’ve gone beyond certain story points within the game. Illustration doesn’t stop short of really commemorating a classic game with a nice hard bound book.

Got this book for my 9 year old son and he constantly is reading the book which makes me happy because at least he’s reading something. Growing up playing the original Zelda game, a game guide like this would have come in very handy. Detailed notes and pictures with great illustrations.

The book is missing the entirety of the reference and analysis chapter. That’s almost 20 pages just simply not there and I find this unacceptable and would really like a response from the publisher as to why this has happened, and to receive a complete copy of the guide.

A high quality book that is best to buy at this time. If you are a big Nintendo fan, I would recommend this book. It is very detailed in everything that can be done in Breath of the Wild or as a collector item.

I'm in love with this Guide. Aside from a guide section dedicated to the core game it also brings a guide to the other expansion packs. The quality of every picture is spectacular and very detailed. In my opinion this is a very well done guide.

As most everyone else has said, the book is great. The shipping package will lead to damage when you get it though. The corners are all dinged up or bent when I got mine, and the outer wrap is wrinkled and not glued very well. Seems like it may have gotten wet at some point and then dried with creases.

Mine arrived in a box and in perfect condition exactly when they said it would. It’ll take me forever to read through it all and even with the helpful guides, I’ll be spending dozens of hours in the game it’s for. Beautifully put together!

I can tell a lot of effort went into this book and it shows! Love this guide. Has absolutely everything about BOTW and the DLC Content plus more! If you in any way like Breath of the Wild, this is a must buy!

It's incredible. Very high quality. If you buy the Nintendo Switch your next purchase should be Zelda BOTW, and then your next purchase should be the two DLC packs, and then your next purchase should be this book. (And then you should buy Mario Odyssey. After that, Mario Kart 8.)

The only problem with the game and the book is that you will lose your social life. LOL!! But gamers know that. I'm a casual gamer who got sucked into this Zelda thing after buying the Switch, and now my life is over. Again, LOL!! Anyway, I say buy it. Mine was shipped in a cardboard zip box and arrived in perfect condition. The text is very small, but you use it as a reference, not a novel.

Excellent! Probably a future collector's item. Buying another for my nephew. 5 stars.

This guide is great! However, take the "master sword trial" battle suggestions with a grain of salt. Some levels are way easier to beat then what is proposed. We loved it because it gave you a heads up as to what you would be battling and what loot to collect. We have already beat the game on normal mode so it is nice to have the guide during Master Mode so we can locate things faster.

I would say this is a must have for anyone playing the game, totally worth every cent!!!

Yaaaay, it came!!! I've just received the new LoZBotW "The Complete Official Guide: Expanded Edition". So far I am pleased. I own the basic collector's edition. There are so many different challenges one can create playing this game; the "Three Heart Challenge: Master Mode" for example. I was so excited when I heard another guide was being released including the DLCs. This strategy guide comes with everything the collector's edition has plus the walkthroughs for the DLC expansion parts 1 and 2. The texture of the pages are the same as in the collector's edition. I was amazed by the art work displayed inside the book directly behind the cover. This guide also comes with the two sided map the previous guides came with with added detail to cover the DLC. The paper containing the product's upc on the back of the guide is attached with glue, but I had no trouble removing it without damaging the book. As I mentioned I've just received the guide so I have yet to test the books content/walkthroughs during gameplay. Will post my thoughts later on that topic. Other than that I'm giddy with excitement. If you're a guide collector like me, like being able to have access to ALL the information concerning this game, or both; purchase this book. I believe it's a must have.

This book is so helpful in navigating through Hyrule, especially if you are a completionist. The book itself is very textbook-like. It's almost like taking a class on Legend of Zelda. I'm really enjoying it and I feel it was well worth the money.

Book was sent in larger box with no padding or even paper to fill up spaces. All the corners are banged up with tears in the corners of the covering of the book.

The guide does have great info and is very helpful. Beautiful artwork and detailed guides. But I can't really recommend a book that is already coming apart right out of the box.

I was hoping that I might get lucky, but it seems that hasty shipping is a common issue. Definitely avoid if you're hoping to add this to a collection.

The guide is amazing but it was shipped in a yellow bubble wrap folder that did not protect it very well. The book has a busted spine and the corners are bent, as far as content the book is amazing and I love it just wish it wasn’t damaged for collecting purposes.

Love the book itself. Beautiful artwork and detailed content. But shipping was so slow. I ordered it March 28 and just received it April 28. When I ordered it, it wasn't out of stock and said it would be shipped in a week. But I got it a month later. But I finally have it and love it.

The book serves its purpose, but if you are trying to use it while you play, good luck. The book is huge so it doesn't stay open on its own you must have your hands on it constantly. That is the only flaw I encountered. Overall not a bad purchase.

For someone who's a Legend of Zelda newbie, this guide is really nice to have. Really love the muted colors on the cover, and that the princess is front and center.
The book itself is a very nice hardcover (slightly larger than a paperback, but not as large as the old "deluxe" hardcover edition). Binding is very solid, very easy to open the book without feeling like you'll crack/damage the spine. Plus, having a large map(a physical extra, and not some download code on a piece of paper!) is handy for such a large scale game like Breath of the Wild. The map is an insert, but it's not attached to the book, so you don't even have to tear it out. One side is labeled "comletionist map", and "focuses on optional objectives that are factored into the calculation of your completion rating: location names and Korok seeds". The other side is the "navigation map" side, and "focuses on critical destinations" when you need to complete quests or just explore the world of the game.
Overall, if you don't have the old strategy guide, this is very much worth it. Having an added art section and the map is a pretty good bonus. :)

This guide is awesome. It has preface for the weapons and what you need for battle and how to obtain them. The walkthroughs are detailed and helped a great deal. The reason behind the three stars is the lack of font size and pictures in the guide. The walkthrough pictures are so small and its hard to tell which direction to go when the picture being so small. Even the font size for the guide is small. I would have loved if the guide had larger pictures and a larger font. So the publishing company should have taken this into account before printing. Its cumbersome to sit down and play a game with a guide that you have to use two hands to read. Or try to maneuver areas in the game with small pictures to go by. Would love if they made this guide into a kindle version or digital version. That way you can zoom, swipe, or extract info with a greater ease when playing. It would also help if this book was made in a spiral form. It would be a lot easier to turn pages or fold over them when using the manual.

The book is very large and filled with lots of information which on the surface sounds great but unless you plan on playing Zelda exclusively and doing nothing else it will be difficult to use for your average player. It also didn't give any details on how to fight certain foe's, for instance there is a shrine in karako village on the hill, the machine in this shrine is impossible, I have broken every weapon I have over and over again and I still cant kill this thing and the book just says "follow the instructions in the shrine", now I bought this book so that it would tell me how to kill this thing in detail, it offered nothing of the sort. The book in my opinion is not very useful, I have gone on youtube and gotten much more useful assistance.

Absolutely beautiful game guide! All the info I needed. Great map included with the book, as well as more detailed maps in the pages. I also really like the organization of sections. It has a labeled bar on the right edge to make it easy to find what youre looking for, be it shrine info, side quest help, or bestiary stats. An index is included as well. And a good supply of concept art that blows you away if you're a nerd like me who's into that jazz.

The book is very helpful for gameplay! The pages are beautifully designed and care was clearly taken in production. The only downside was the book did come slightly damaged on one corner where the box may have been dropped sometime in the shipment process.
