Review:If you are new to the Forgotten Realms setting in D&D then this book might be for you. The majority of the content is backstory on the various areas of the sword coast and there is a very small portion at the end that has new class descriptions. Since this is the 5th edition and there has been similar books to this in previous editions, I was hoping for a lot more character classes that would work with 5e.
I don't recommend getting this book unless you are planning on DM'ing in this s... Read more
Review:I taught chess to my nine year old granddaughter with this book. She was interested and found it easy to follow. After a few hours of theory and practice, we were playing chess. It is an excellent tool to teach children the basic game and beginners should keep it as reference. Read more
Review:Contains storyboards, thumbnails, silhouettes, armor/character designs, color keys... it's a thoroughly complete art book. Highly recommend. It has exceptional process and pre-production work. If you know how thick Mass Effect's concept art book (which includes all 3 Mass Effect games), this book is thicker. About twice the size as the Diablo 3 art book. Read more

So the puzzles are organized from easier to more difficult.
The selection of puzzles themselves is excellent. Furthermore, the ... Read more
Review:Our favorite puzzle book. Lots of puzzles to keep you thinking. Gets you to think outside the box! Our family loves to read through one of the puzzles and then let it simmer for a few days to see who can come up with a solution. Many of the puzzles are tricky word problems, mixed with excellent logic problems. Great book. Read more

Review:A very thorough and useful introduction to the basic system it is a useful refresher and a good start for novices. However, since we play two over one system and other conventions, the book was not as helpful as I thought it would be. Read more
Review:The QI writing team does it once again, this time compiling facts from ten years of the show into a rapid-fire hitlist of information. What's nice here is that the facts aren't totally random. Some are grouped together according to theme or word, and they've even got citations for each in a lengthy index in the back.
While other books claim to be "bathroom readers" designed to entertain readers for the long-haul, this one would do suitably for short 15-second trips if necessary. Read more
