Review:This book was terrible. Pictures were printed on plain printer paper, and the pictures were pixalized. Poor printing settings, and general lack of effort. Also, this book is really only useful if you play minecraft pc. It has a few hints for other systems, but in general nothing that will truly help you do anything. Read more

Review:Bought this as a Christmas gift for my nephew, who loved it. A big sports fan, he especially enjoyed the sections devoted to records in various sports, both traditional and non-traditional. The illustrations are fun, and nicely complement the facts and details. And the glittering cover is snazzy. Apart from the fun factor, the book is also educational, without being dull. It makes a terrific gift. Read more
Review:It is more for visual presentation. It is small. Not meant to be played with. Snitch is attached to box and does not come off. I got as a gift for someone. She will like it. She can put it on her bookshelf. Read more
Review:The first part of the book was interesting- card counting, stocks, etc. Unfortunately the second was just a re-hash of financial concepts and Thorp's views on Wall Street. I finally just gave up and skimmed it. Read more
Review:After all the marketing for this game I decided to preorder it. I was super excited when it finally arrived, then we played it. Who would have guessed that a bunch of people with no punning experience would have such a tough time coming up with puns on the fly. So we played for three hours. In that three hour span two hours and forty-five minutes were spent in silence as we tried to come up with puns to two cards that share no common ground. Waste of a game night. Read more
Review:This is a "garbage" book from a "garbage" Author. As an Author myself let me make it clear that writing a book, especially a 'how-to' book is quite difficult and time consuming. The Author in this situation only wanted you to see the cover, think you're going to get something that you can brag about having learned, or god knows what because this book is titled too seriously for me to believe the Author was expecting the reader to KNOW this book is a joke, which it is. This book is garbage and I ... Read more
Review:I had purchased Mr. Timmerman's crossword puzzles (large print), and enjoyed them. This book was enjoyable as well.
The book has (as it states on its cover) 101 large print word finds. Each word find has an overarching category, and the words within that word find fall within that category. (i.e. "Golfing" has words like "birdie," "mulligan," etc.)
The words are forwards and backwards, diagonal, horizontal, and vertical. Answers are located in the back.
It is a good book - the words ... Read more
Review:Great book! All the information your teachers did not, or could not, tell you. Much background on everyday items like the telephone. Did Alexander Graham Bell invent it or did he steal the idea and market it?
Great book for trivia buffs and know-it-alls. A great resource for repeatable information. You will quote this book! It offers answers to questions you never thought to ask. This book could become your mental addiction. Read more
Review:I have used this book, for probably 15 years....I had the First Edition, which I used until it fell apart. Then, I got the Second Edition and it is time to replace that book, also, as not only has it fallen apart (almost in the exact same place as the First Edition) but it got water damaged.
It is indispensible BUT I had the oversized paper back! Even though the price was twice as much as the paper back you advertise, it was well worth the money. Sometimes, I wish they would have figu... Read more
