After all the marketing for this game I decided to preorder it. I was super excited when it finally arrived, then we played it. Who would have guessed that a bunch of people with no punning experience would have such a tough time coming up with puns on the fly. So we played for three hours. In that three hour span two hours and forty-five minutes were spent in silence as we tried to come up with puns to two cards that share no common ground. Waste of a game night.

If you like three hours of quiet contemplation, for five minutes of "fun" with your friends, then this is the game for you. This game should be called "Bad Dad Jokes" but they're not the funny ones, they're the rejected dad jokes that shouldn't have made it past the pilot audience. Jo and Fred should be Firedstoned from making anymore games. This is the equivalent of number munchers but doing college algebra - the fun was zapped out. I entered Punderdome feeling like Mad Max, and left feeling like Master Blaster, saying "Don't hurt me, I have the mind of a child." The only way this "punderful game would replace Cards Against Humanity" at my next party is when I want my guests to leave.

I bought this game for my husband and family. We often challenge each other at mealtime with puns, so I thought this game was perfect for us. I was wrong. ITS HARD. Yes, there were moments when we came up with some winners, and we had some fun and laughs playing, but it was overly challenging when we played according to the rules. We had more fun just using the deck for ideas, and then just playing puns off each other. I was disappointed in this game. I doubt we will play it often, if at all...too many games that are more fun available.......

I love puns and corny humor. I absolutely hate this game. I pre-ordered it, couldn't wait to get it, invited some people over to play and, boy, was that a bad idea. Total flop. The production quality is good, but it's slow, difficult, and caters to a very specific group of people.

High praise for the store, though. I tried to return it and they just refunded my money without asking me to send it back! the store has unbelievable customer service, as always. Hopefully the right person will find this at Goodwill and enjoy it.

Simple, fun, silly. Some of the quick pun answers are pretty dumb, but you and your friends will think of dumber ones. The mystery prize part doesn't really add to the game, in my opinion, but that doesn't take away from the fun overall. Sometimes it takes a few rounds to get your brain going (and sometimes you'll play a whole game with hardly any good ones), but it's still a quick, fun game that you'll want to come back to. Oh, and you'll be making puns for the next week and all your friends will hate you. Buy it today!

Bought this because I thought it sounded like a fun game for Game Night. But upon reading the directions, my friends and I decided that it requires "too much thinking" for what we want to be a relaxing night with friends after a long work week. It's not that we are 'dumb' or 'lazy', we just don't want to think that hard on the weekends. The game has been shelved for the time being. Perhaps we will attempt to play it when we are all in a better mind-set.

Lots of fun making puns from different categories. A recent winner at our game party went to a player who drew poetry and laughter. Her answer was Emily Snickerson. Whether or not you like puns (I hate them!) this is a fun game. The smarter your players the better the game. Not good for little kids.

I bought this game after seeing/hearing about the Live Show in Brooklyn. It's a great adaptation of the live show, and it's super easy to play. I also like it better than Cards Against Humanity because it's not repetitive.

The game was really good had some unusual and hard puns, for me i do not like puns but i brought it as a gift and played it with that person and i had a good time since its fun for those who dont like puns. Even if you are not into puns i still would suggest that you buy this and get into it or buy it as a gift. My friend loved the gift and thought it was the best

Do not buy this game if you have any understanding of what a pun is or the concept of a pun off. The categories are complete rubbish, no scope in the categories at all so no fun. Our group were experienced punners so like a challenge but this was a badly thought out boring game capitalising on the word pun. Don't be duped

Great game, but VERY hard. HOWEVER...Shipping was sub-par, thanks to the store. They shipped it in an envelope, instead of a box. So, the game box came damaged and with a very large dent in the corner. There's no reason not to ship a box IN a box. It was pretty crummy on the store's part, frankly. Aside from that, the game is really fun, and challenging. We're pun-fanatics around here, and expected to be pretty good at it. It's far more challenging than we expected. It's a good time and really fun!

Hugely disappointed in this game I preordered months ago. We tried this game on several different occasions. It's slow (each draw - 90 seconds of blankly staring at one another while trying to come up with a pun based off of two completely random topics), it's cumbersome and just not very funny. Not even remotely like CAH, as advertised. Big fail.

Game came delivered in a handy envelope so no extra boxes to deal with. I like the portable size to just throw in a bag if going to a party. Set came with two sets of cards, two notepads, two prize envelopes and a few sheets of tear away mystery prize slips. The dividers in the box keeps everythign nice and neat! Game play is very straightforward and mirrors the play of Apples to Apples and Cards Against Humanity. I did find that running through a few Pun Questions and Answers helped people understand what the game asks. Once we moved onto to using the white and green cards the 90 sec needed to brainstorm was definately needed! After a few rounds, people got more competitive and silly. Having to collect 10 sets of cards seems like a lot to win, but game play went to about a full hour with just 3 people. Looking forward to playing in a bigger group. I do like the endless combinations of the cards and the challenge of playing. I could see this game working well for all ages for kids learning to write to elders helping them stretch and use their brains in new ways. This father and daughter team knocked it out of the park again!
