A great read full of witty banter and hysterical inner monologues.

Brynn is just trying to move on from her recent divorce. After seeing her ex at a party with his new girl, she decides to step outside herself. She sees a hot guy across the patio and goes for it! It’s HOT!

No names, just unbridled passion with an anonymous stranger! Definitely fantasy meets flesh. They exchange first names after and then she’s gone.

Tom can’t stop thinking about her and asks his friend for help finding her. Mutual friends leads him back to Brynn. But Tom’s no regular guy. He’s a star on a show on a home improvement network. And people are always after a story or about creating drama.

It’s a fun read full of great friends, sexy encounters and swoony moments! Definitely looking forforward to Ash and Sadie’s stories!

What I have learned from reading Sarina Bowen's books is that I love her independently written books, but her co-written books are hit or miss for me. While I was excited to read this book because of how fun it sounded, the "fun" was a bit over the top for my liking.

After divorcing her husband and losing her job because her ex's dad was her boss, Brynn is in a funk. While trying to find a new job, she's immersed herself in her food blog and cookbooks. Her friends, though, want her to put herself out there again and go crazy, so they drag her along to a party where Brynn finds herself launching herself at the hot gardener. Little does she know, he's a bit more than a gardener…he's Mr. Fix-It Quick.

Okay, so starting out, this book was definitely a bit dramatic for my taste. I mean, the couple meets because Brynn literally throws herself at Tom just by looking at him. And Tom just goes with it. Um, what? These characters were fun, but being in their minds was just too absurd and I could not believe anything that was happening. There were too many balls jokes and they constantly were thinking things that they hadn't even realized they said aloud to one another. Does that even happen in real life!?! Ugh. And EVERYONE talked about how Brynn wasn't thin. I get it. She's not the stereotypical skinny girl we almost always see in books. You don't have to beat me over the head with it.

I did, though, enjoy Brynn and Tom's relationship and how much they lusted after each other. It was fun when they didn't know when they crossed the line between lust and love and if, because of their pasts, they could really love someone again and trust that easily. But, again, I found myself distracted by the outrageous characters and the funny moments that just seemed like they were trying too hard to be funny.

In the end, I actually started to enjoy this book, but I couldn't get over how extreme the humor was. From the other reviews so far it seems like people really enjoyed the humor of this book, but it just wasn't for me.

Overall 5 stars
Performance 5 stars
Story 5 stars

This is the funniest audiobook that I have ever had the pleasure of listening to. This is romantic comedy gold and I loved every minute! Often when I own both the audio and ebook versions of a title, I will switch back and forth depending on the situation. This is the VERY first time that I forced myself to not read the book, so that I could solely experience it through the audio.

I probably looked like a mad woman walking my dog this week while listening to this book. I was laughing and snorting and had a crazed smile on my face. The narration was absolutely fantastic! Erin Mallon and Luke Daniels could not have performed this better! This is actually the first book I have listened to narrated by Luke Daniels, but it surely won't be my last! Everything was so vibrant and energetic that you can't help but get swept up in Tom and Brynn's story. And don't even get me started on Tom's.... hammer. Holy moly. He had some of THE BEST dialogue in the book and his POV chapter towards the end - I was dying!!

This is a lighthearted and hilarious book. There is no heavy lifting or unnecessary angst or drama. It is pure fun and it is sure to bring a smile to your face. I can't wait for Ash and Braht's book next. Loved this one!

Thirty-four-year-old food blogger Brynn (whose last name I don't recall being mentioned, unless she's still using her ex's which is Masters) lost her job as an English writing professor right after she lost her husband, but then maybe that's what happens when the head of your department is your now-former father-in-law. Filing for divorce was her only recourse, not wanting to remain in a marriage where the man she thought she would spend the rest of her life with didn't seem to be interested in being intimate or romantic. When she finds her ex with another woman at a party, her friends push her to kiss the first man she makes eye contact with. The hot gardener seems to be prime for the picking, erm, kissing, and one hot kiss leads to one hot hookup. What Brynn doesn't know is her gardener is none other than Tom Spanner, the thirty-eight-year-old star of his very own home makeover show...who becomes the star of a sex tape. His co-star? The fab woman who's about to be his fake fiancée: Brynn.

I already know that Sarina Bowen can mix hilarity, heart, and heat, as evidenced by her WAGs series with Elle Kennedy. In this new series with Tanya Eby, those three elements are still very much there, but there's a different flavor to this writing twosome, and it's a combo that I'm already liking a whole lot. What's not to like with these main characters? They were rejected by their significant others and yet they were able to find true love with each other and hell, it was so much better than what they once thought they had. They're funny and flirty and an absolute dynamo of a duo in and out of bed. The foodie maven and the home renovation expert were a match made in rom-com heaven. I have no idea how Bowen and Eby split their writing responsibilities, but damn, it was impossible to tell if they even chose the character apiece avenue. I highly recommend you check out their first foray as a writing pair. Prepare to laugh...and maybe even pee a little. I happily fork over five stars for Man Hands. ♥

I have mixed emotions about this book. There is a lot that I liked, but some things seemed over the top for me. Brynn is suffering from a breakup and I couldn't help but feel bad for her. Thanks to her wild and crazy friends, she jumps the first man she sees.

Poor Tom doesn't know what's happening when he sees this woman heading his way. But who can deny a woman jumping his bones? Not Tom. I loved him immediately. He may be famous and have his own TV show, but he is so down to earth. He is one of the most loveable characters I have read lately. He is such a sweetheart!

There are so many times I was dying laughing. Some of the things Brynn gets into is hilarious and you can't help but like her character. My only drawback was that I felt it was so over the top with her and her love of food. Don't get me wrong, I know it was an important part of the book, but it couldn't have been a little less to make it more realistic. With that being said, it's a good read that I really did enjoy and I am looking forward to the next book!

Man Hands is about divorcee Brynn, when she divorces from her husband she’s left with a very low self-esteem. Her friends take her to a party and convince her to kiss the first man she sees, and she does exactly that. And she ends up doing more than that with him, then running off when it’s done.

But the hookup returns, and she learns his name is Tom. And Tom has an unusual proposition for her.

Let me start off by saying this book is VERY funny. Sarina and Tanya hit the humor spot really well. And this book was FILLED with sexy times. But I felt the romance wasn’t developed very well and wish we had more of that than sex scenes.

Plus when I thought home renovation tv personality I thought of Chip Gaines from Fixer Upper and sorry not sorry, I don’t find him attractive.

Sarina Bowen is one of my favorite authors - authors whose books I pre-order as soon as the links go up. While I prefer her deeper, more emotional romantic novels to this light-hearted romantic comedy, it would be unfair to compare Man Hands to HIM/US, or to her True North series, because of the change in genre. It's supposed to be a simpler story, with less complex characters, and it is. Overall, Man Hands is satisfying and thoroughly entertaining--the perfect diversion if you're looking for a light, uncomplicated read that just makes you feel good all over. The premise is not necessarily unique ("home improvement" themes are cropping up all over the place right now), but it's immediately engaging. The inciting event, when the two principal characters met, is outrageous and hilarious; the dialogue is clever and funny; the principal characters are unique and relatable: a handyman (albeit a famous one), and an English professor, a cookbook writer, and a food blogger. The secondary characters are delightfully quirky and developed enough to stand on their own as this new series continues.

I love that Brynn is not a drop-dead-gorgeous, super-slender damsel in distress. Based on her description, she's more of a BBW, struggling with the same body image and self-esteem issues many women feel when they re-enter the dating world after a divorce. I love that she happens to be just what Tom--who is still stinging from the callous rejection of his would-be fiancée--sees her for the creative, exuberant woman that she is and falls in love with her because of it. I also love that Brynn is willing to give Tom the benefit of the doubt when other heroines would be whining in their fancy cocktails. I love that they are both willing to risk their hearts while they figure out what their relationship truly is and what it means.

I look forward to seeing Brynn and Tom again in the sequel, Man Card. I thoroughly enjoyed taking a break from the holiday rush to dive into this sweet rom-com, and I recommend it without reservations.

I absolutely adore Sarina Bowen reads but this is my first time of reading from Tanya Eby! I've got to say the collaboration of the two authors was fantastic and i will be checking out Tanya's other works. I hope there will be many more to come, I'm already patiently waiting for Man Card.

From the very first sentence this book had my attention and kept it throughout. Brynn is a newly divorced lady, dealing with self confidence issues due to her Ex. Her two best friends do what any best friends would do they don't allow her to wallow!! Taking her out they give her a challenge to kiss the first guy to make eye contact and... she does in an absolutely hilarious way. When Brynn goes for something she really does throw herself into it!!

Tom loves to remodel homes, while he still enjoys the work he does on his t.v show the spotlights taken its toll on his personal life and he's looking forward to the break from women. So allowing his best friend to host a party at his home he decides to take a back seat and hide back. So when he sees a beautiful lady running his way he does the only gentleman thing he can do he catches her. What he never expected was that the lady in question that fell into his lap (well jump really) turns out from that point to be the one woman he can't get out of his mind.

Their brief night of passion see's them embarking on a relationship under the pretence of cleaning up both of their images. Leads Tom and Brynn to find something they hadn't know they were looking for but desperately needed. Together they are able to face the mistakes of the past and realise that while their previous relationship may not have worked it was not through any defect of their own - rather their only mistake was in choosing people who were ultimately wrong for them in every way. Together Tom and Brynn are empowered to forge their own path, both independently and together.

There's not too much drama, giving us a lighter tone perfect for this Romantic Comedy, the fun and good vibes will be with you throughout. Throw in some off the charts chemistry with not only the main characters gives us one hell of an entertaining read and leads us with hints of the next hilarious read to come.

'Somewhere in the back of my consciousness a few of my brain cells attempt a moment of clarity. I’m vaguely aware that I am hardcore making out with a man I just attacked in the garden of a stranger’s house while my ex played hand paddle with some beautiful college girl.
But clarity is overrated. And carpe gardener.'

Brynn is recently divorced, recently unemployed and just generally feeling bummed out about it all. Coerced into a party that she had no desire going to, she’s not too happy when she spots her ex-husband getting handsy with what looks to be a younger, prettier version of herself. Her friend insists that the best way to get over seeing him is to hook up with the next guy she sees. Which is how she finds herself leaping into the arms of the property’s hot gardener. Only Tom’s no gardener, unbeknownst to Brynn, Tom is actually the host of a popular home improvement shot. He barely knows what’s hit him when he sees this beautiful woman barreling toward him and latching on, but he’s willing to go along with whatever game she’s playing. Tom’s had some pretty crazy things happen to him throughout his career but hooking up with this intriguing stranger who leaves behind only her name and her chocolate bunny panties might just top his list. Especially considering the surprise waiting for them both once he finally tracks her down!

“Somewhere between the boathouse and your fondness for appetizers, I fell for you. Hard.”

OMG, I LOVED this book! It was non-stop fun from the first page to the last. I seriously couldn’t stop laughing while reading it. The writing, the storyline, these characters, it was all hilarious! But also swoony, sexy and sweet. I want to be best friends with Brynn. There, I said it. She was a riot, but she was so relatable and realistic. Her sense of humor and her inner musings spoke to my soul! I love that she didn’t take herself too seriously most of the time, except when it counted. I also loved her friends, Ash and Sadie. The three of them together were fantastic. Then there’s Tom, sweet and sexy Tom. He was adorable and so funny. For a TV star you might expect him to be some out of touch jerk, but he was so down to earth and easy going. I love how from the moment Brynn launched herself at him, he was smitten and that he was the one to pursue her. Their journey was a little rocky and definitely hilarious but I loved how there was no silly drama or unneeded angst. Sometimes you just need an easy breezy story that’ll make you laugh and leave you feeling all gooey inside (like one of Brynn’s dips perhaps?) and that’s exactly what this book did for me. GAH! I’m still grinning thinking about Brynn and Tom and I’m trying to resist the urge to actually squee! If you’re a fan of rom-coms, do yourself a favor and pick up a copy of this book!

“What a couple of {censored}ups we are.”
“Not anymore, gorgeous.” He kisses my neck. “We’ve got it right this time.”

This collaboration ROCKED!!!!

From the very first sentence I was hooked. I made the mistake of reading on the train and had to really control myself not to laugh out loud. My face was already cracking, and hurting from all the smiling. So yeah, this book is a LOL – kind of novel. A rom-com that will make you crack a smile for sure.

Which I needed badly.

Man Hands was much more than I expected.

I like and enjoy Sarina Bowen’s books. Always have always will. But Tanya Eby was new to me. I’m always astonished how collaborations can change how authors sound. How every author duo sound very different to their individual books.

I have now read Sarina Bowen by herself, Sarina Bowen & Elle Kennedy, and Sarina Bowen & Sarah Mayberry. This collaboration has to be the second best, right after my favorite series HIM & US. Whereas HIM & US was very emotional, Man Hands was incredibly funny, light hearted and just a blast to read.

Man Hands had me cracking up!!!

I absolutely adored the writing style, dialogues, and inner monologues. Gosh, how much I chuckled reading this sweet and fast paced novel about a blogger and a hunk of a TV show host. And what a unique and entertaining plot it was.

I don’t want to give away too much.

All I want to say is that Man Hands was FUNNY! Hilarious. Sweet. AND. Sexy!!!! I pretty much read that book as fast as I could. I even texted TJ about how much I loved it and how happy I was reading a book that pulled me in and made me laugh from the very first moment. The supporting cast was SUPERB!!!! So amazing that I can’t wait for Ash and Braht’s story. OMG – Braht ♡♡♡. He was such a conundrum. I wanted more of him.

Fortunately I’ll get more of Braht in Man Card, book 2 of this series. At this point I’m pretty much in love with him – you’ll see what I mean. His story is going to be GOOD!!! Such a unique character. So not regular hero material which makes it PERFECT!!!

All in all Man Hands was a great first book in a promising new collaboration. It wasn’t perfect – but it was a solid performance that made me smile and not wanting to put my kindle down. AND I can’t wait to read book 2 – so mission accomplished.

In MAN HANDS, we have two people recovering from failed relationships. Tom is mostly in hiding after having his girlfriend reject his proposal…on live TV. The same woman who only used him to propel her own career. Brynn is recently divorced from a man who loved her cooking skills but was not attracted to her fuller figure, who made her feel so undesirable it greatly affected her confidence. Trying to regain some of that confidence, and with her best friends at her back, she literally jumps on the first man she sees at a party, which happens to be Tom.

I liked Tom and Brynn, and I thought they were perfect for each other. I liked that even though they had both been hurt, it didn’t stop them from trying a new relationship together. Their relationship gave both of them the confidence they needed to stand up to their exes when they popped in to cause trouble, and both scenes were magnificent. What I also liked about Brynn was that she listened to her heart, and didn’t make wrong assumptions about Tom’s feelings for her. And Tom? Well, he always knew the right things to say.

“Like my ex would even notice.”
“Of course he will. If I were married to you, and then I lost you, the regret would be pretty intense.”

MAN HANDS is labelled as a romantic-comedy, and I won’t deny that it was funny. For example, here’s the ending to their first time together, and I cracked up laughing.

He pulls out and collapses next to me. His leg is over mine, and he reaches across my naked breast to grab my hand. “I’m Tom,” he says.
“Brynn,” I breathe back.
“Well, Brynn…It’s really nice to meet you.”
We shake hands.

However, I did feel that some of the humor was a little too much, a little too forced, and a little too immature given we’re talking about two people who are 34 and 38 years old. Tom’s d!ck talks to him throughout the story—it even has its own mini chapter towards the end—and I can’t decide whether I thought that was funny or not. That being said, the story made me laugh, and isn’t that the point?

MAN HANDS is told in dual POVs and comes with a HEA for Tom and Brynn. While it’s part of a series, I think each book can be read as a stand-alone because each book will be about a different couple. The second book in the series, MAN CARD, comes out in January and I am looking forward to reading it. It will be about Tom’s best friend, Braht, and one of Brynn’s best friends, Ashley, who had an interesting and fiery “relationship” throughout this story. Will Brynn’s other best friend, Sadie, get her own story? I’m not sure, but given she seems to be in the middle of an unhappy marriage, anything is possible.

This book was this wicked combination of sweet, sexy and absolutely hilarious. I honestly don't think I have laughed so much while reading book in a long time.

It helps that the leads are who they are; this story wouldn't be the same without them. Brynn is a bit of an oddball but still utterly charming. I loved watching her rebuild her confidence after her divorce and discovering her own self-worth as the story progressed. And Tom is a great complement to her character as he too has to rebuild his confidence.

Watching them fight (but never really succeeding) their fabulous connection made for an epic read. Seriously. I've never laughed so hard during a sex scene before while still finding the entire thing to be sexy. Their chemistry is palpable and their inner monologue about the other person had me swooning throughout. These two are just the cutest!

I really wasn't sure what the plot was going to be given the synopsis but this book surprised me in the best way. These two find themselves in some crazy situations and hilarity ensues. But it also has its touching moments as well where these two connect on that deeper level I love to see.

Like I said before, I had so much fun listening to this book. The narrators totally made it this awesome experience because I honestly don't think I would have enjoyed the humour as much otherwise.

This book was a great blend of sexy, sweet and hilarity. Highly recommended for fans of quirky romantic comedies!

There’s just something about a man who works with his hands that illustrates exactly the kind of hardworking man he is…

And…

When those rough and callused hands know how to manipulate more than power tools and hammers, the woman who benefits from a working man’s hands as well as his entire toned physique is definitely one lucky lady.

Tom is not your everyday handy man, but he sure does know his way around a rebuild, a remodel, or any other kind of fixer upper his customers or his producers throw at him. 10 seasons as the host of Mr. Fixit Quick has allowed the world to see Tom’s carpentry skills from the comforts of their own home, and while he has a throng of adoring fans, he also had a very public proposal gone wrong, which he is trying to recover from, declaring a yearlong celibacy and a hiatus from the show that made him a household name.

Brynn is a heroine who readers will relate to, especially if they’ve had to put themselves back into the dating world, like Brynn does, after being out of it for so long, and because of the way things went down with Brynn’s ex and how he made her feel insignificant and frumpy, readers will connect with her insecurities and her fears, especially when it comes to a man like Tom – a man who is so not her usual type – but maybe that’s why Tom makes her feel so much more than she ever felt with her ex-husband or anyone else.

Tom and Brynn’s lives may be drastically different and their personalities may not mesh with the kind of worlds they respectively reside in, but what they do give one another is a way to get over their heartbreak and perhaps even realize that other people’s cruel acts and motives have nothing to do with who Tom and Brynn are; they’re not the problem but they were also not the others’ solutions, which is actually better for them in the long run.

Sarina Bowen and Tanya Eby wrote a fantastic dual point of view romantic comedy. I adored Tom and his ‘man hands’ and Brynn and her ‘Dips and Balls,’ and the drama that’s created around Tom and Brynn’s epic boathouse rendezvous may bring unwarranted chaos to both of their lives, but it’s also what gives Tom a way to reunite with the woman who rocked his world when she pretty much tackled him the first night they met.

I can’t wait for Man Card because I have a feeling that Ash isn’t going to make things easy for Braht regardless of how many orgasms he can give her!

‘‘Caution: May cause laughing out loud and giggling. Do not read in a public places where people might think you lost your mind’’

I wish there was a caution like this at the beginning so that I would have been ready to laughing out loud or giggling without getting weird looks from the people around me. As you can imagine ‘Man Hands’ by Sarina Bowen and Tanya Eby is hilarious ? Sarina Bowen is one of my favorite authors and her books are auto-buys for me. As always she didn’t disappoint with ‘Man Hands’. As for Tanya Eby, she is a new author to me but I am looking forward to read more from her. I will do my best not to spoil the story and hopefully my review will make justice to the book.

Brynn is in her mid-30’s, a writing professor and a food blogger. She is a recent divorcee and her divorce not only causes her to lose her husband, she also loses her job. While she is struggling with her insecurities, her best friends Ash and Sadie have a solution for her to get over divorcee and unemployed status. Their solution is ‘‘in order to get over someone is to get under someone else’’ and this someone else must be opposite of her usual type. In order to put their plan in motion, they convince Brynn to go to a party with them. Annnnd the fun begins at the party ? Tom, aka Mr. Fixit Quick, is a TV show host. His home renovation TV show is on hiatus just like his love life. However, everything gets complicated when a random woman charges on and literally jumps on him at the party. This leads to the hottest event of Tom and Brinn’s lives. Add disappearing act, chocolate bunny panties, and boathouse to the hook-up and you will get an event that will turn their lives upside down. Are you curious what happens after their hook-up? If yes, you should start reading the book ?

‘Man Hands’ was hilarious, sweet and sexy. I could not put my kindle down until I was done with it. If you are looking for a funny, sweet, fast paced and lighthearted book, I totally recommend you to read ‘Man Hands’. And a good news second book of the series ‘Man Card’ will be out on January 15th, 2018. I can’t wait to read Ash and Braht’s story ?

Would I recommend this book: Yes.
Would I re-read this book: Yes.
Would I read future books by this author: Yes.

This is my first introduction into reading a book from both Sarina Bowen and Tanya Eby. I love a good RomCom and this was hitting the spot for most of the book, but there were times when the jokes were OTT and corny, But I have to give them credit for writing a lovely story about two characters that bring each other out of their funks without intentionally doing it.
Brynn is in a post divorced, unemployed funk and all she wants to do is be left alone to work on her food blog, Brynn's Dips & Balls. Practically forced and bribed with booze by her BFFs, Brynn finds herself at an exclusive, swanky summer party, but her ex-husband shows up with model arm candy that dampens her spirits. When her BFFs dare her to kiss the first single man she sees, she grabs the "gardener" and have a heated hookup, but unbeknownst to them they were recorded and it has gone viral... because she did not hookup with a "gardener".
Tom is on hiatus from his popular home renovation TV show after a humiliating breakup. Mr. Fix-It Quick is pleasantly surprised when a curvaceous beauty throws herself at him at a party. After the hookup goes viral, they enter into a fake engagement to give the hookup validation and to cool the media attention. Even though their initial meeting was fiery, Brynn has insecurities due to everyone pretty much obsessing over the fact that she has actual curves and isn't stick thin, but Tom is smitten with her and every curve.
Will Tom's man hands be enough to bring Brynn out of her funk?

Brynn is stuck in a rut following her divorce, decimation of her self esteem, and loss of her job. Her no-nonsense friends, Ash and Sadie, are determined to push her boundaries and get her back into the dating world...or at least find her a hot hook-up. Brynn is not a delicate flower and she is woefully out of practice when it comes to handling men. Her past type has always been the more high maintenance, sensitive, wimpy boy-man. So her friends push her to ignore her instincts and look for the opposite.

And then she sees Tom...big, burly, handsome, hot, and with dirt on his hands. And impulsively she takes matters into her own hands and initiates a full body slam. But their chemistry explodes into a scorching, Earth-shaking tryst and they are both left reeling from the impact.

But now he needs to find her again....and to come clean about who he really is. And that will bring a whole host of complications and challenges for them to deal with together.

This is a fast-paced, fun, sexy, hilarious, rom com with lovable characters told in dual points of view. It is a bit over-the-top, but I totally smiled, laughed, and swooned. I adored Tom with his big heart and manly hands and body that made her feel safe and beautiful. And Brynn was so easy to relate to with her curves, insecurities, and self esteem issues, but she was funny, smart, and natural. They really just fit and were exactly what they didn't know they even needed. They were mature and just so sweet and sexy together even when they had no clue what they were really doing.

The side characters of Ash, Braht, and Sadie kept it even more interesting and full of sarcasm and laughs. I loved the no-holds-barred humor, wit and, charm. But it also had some good character growth and messages about hope, home, and happiness. I was engaged by the first page and read it in one sitting. This is one of those stories that you just devour and leaves you with a big happy, smile on your face.

I am looking forward to their next collab on Man Card.

Recently divorced Brynn tries to find herself, which is hard to do since she allowed her ex-husband, Steve, to make her feel invisible. Her friends, Ash & Sadie, decide it’s time for her to move forward. To have a no-strings-attached fling with a man who is not her normal type.

This brings about Tom, celebrity home improvement guru who was humiliated on live TV by his girlfriend when he asked her to marry him and she rejects it.

Brynn goes to a party with her friends where she sees her ex with a younger, improved copy of herself on his arm. Cue in her friend Ash telling her she is going to kiss the next man to make eye contact with her. Brynn runs into Tom’s arms and lays one on him that turns into that no-strings-attached fling. Brynn leaves without Tom knowing and only leaving her Easter bunny undies as her calling card.

Give it a few days and Tom is unable to get Brynn off his mind, which brings in his friend, Brat (pronounced like Bratwurst) who knows Ash.

Now launch in a sex tape and your humor and drama is filled.

This story is told in two POVs and there isn’t a lot of moments where you aren’t giggling or hearing the silent conversations Tom has with Dick.

Must Read.

MAN HANDS, hand down the funniest book that I have read in a long while!! Sarina Bowen & Tanya Eby take us on a hilarious journey where two people, who have been burned by love, find love in the most untimely time and the most unlikely of places.

Brynn is a character who I want to be my best friend. She is sweet, funny, caring and when she sees her ex at a party with a younger and skinnier version of herself, her self esteem takes a hit. When Brynn finally snaps and goes after Tom, I was cheering her on the whole way. Brynn doesn't do one night stands, but with Tom, she did, but she wants more.

Tom is a very well know TV personality, what with his own show and all, but Brynn has no idea who he is, and I think that is refreshing for him. When Brynn comes at him at the party, he loves every minute they spent together and I loved how tenacious he was at finding her. Tom has his own issues with relationships and self esteem, because he got turned down, ON TV!!! His ego and his heart definitely took a hit, but Brynn is slowly but surely healing his heart and his ego.

These two characters have a chemistry so powerful, that when they are just in the same room, they are just drawn together. Their passion for each other is off the charts, they are just insatiable. Tanya Eby is a new author to me, but I truly enjoyed the writing. It flowed seamlessly, that I couldn't tell that two people wrote this book!! I loved the supporting characters. Brynn's two best friends really had her back and were supportive and they friendship was more like a sisterhood. Braht was just the icing on the cake with this book and I cannot wait until Man Card comes out!!

While I’ve been following Sarina Bowen’s work for a few years, what made me check out this book was her co-author. I’ve only had the pleasure of listening to Tanya Eby read other author’s books. This time, I got a taste of her writing. Bowen is a great author and along with Eby Man Hands was a great book to pick up.

The comedy in this book reminds me of Tara Sivec’s writing. They all are hilarious most of the time and don’t pull punches. Along with that, but characters are also sweet and a great fit for each other. I even ended up enjoying the reality show elements of the book, despite not enjoying them in the real world.

The only (minor) thing that brought the rating down for me was the pacing of the story. I felt it was a little on the speedy side. With how much I was enjoying the characters and their interactions, I felt the story as a whole was a little rushed. I think there was room to stretch it just a little more while not fluffing it up. Maybe there’ll be a novella with more of this couple to satisfy my needs. Even without that, there are more books in this series for me to read!

Poor Brynn just went through a divorce and lost her job working for her father in-law. Her girls just want to cheer her up by taking her to a house party. They aren't there 5 minutes when she finds that her ex is there with another woman. To stave off Brynn's panic, Ash convinces her to turn around and kiss the next man she makes eye contact with. Byrnn is so panicked, she charges like a bull in a china shop straight at Tom, who she believes is the gardener, and leaps into his arms.

Tom doesn't know what to think of this women except how good she feels in his arms. These two are so engrossed with each other, they forget they are surrounded with party guests and he takes her to the boat house to finish what she started. Little do they know they are being filmed in the act and turns out, Tom is not the gardener. Tom is a famous reality tv fixer upper guy. When the video gets leaked, these two authors provide us endless entertainment of Tom and Brynn trying desperately to fix the situation.

What a cute, silly and incredibly hilarious book! This was such an enjoyable audio book to listen too. Luke Daniels and Muffy Newtown did a fantastic job of narrating this book. I was laughing so hard throughout this book. The comedy was spot on and I loved it!

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

OMG! I loved this book! It was downright HILARIOUS! In addition, it was charming, awkward, comical, romantic, and just DAMN GOOD! Sarina Bowen and Tanya Eby make one HELL of a pair! MAN HANDS is the start of a series that I know that I’m going to absolutely LOVE! Our two main characters, Brynn and Tom, along with the rest of the cast make up an amazing group of people that you will absolutely ADORE! I’m already excited for what these two will bring us next!

Brynn and Tom were amazingly awkward and oh so charming! I fell hard for these two right away. Our heroine is so freaking relatable it’s ridiculous! Her circumstances were just hilarious and I could see myself being FAST FRIENDS with her. And Tom, well, I just wanted to pounce on him and never let go! The swiftness that he took to our Brynn was so damn cute. Let me just tell you, that was one HELL of a first meeting between the two. Sparks fly off of the pages from the very second these two meet and it just skyrockets from there.

MAN HANDS is an adorable romance for all the men and ladies out there who have been told by their friends, “You have to get back out there.” “Open yourself up.” “Just have some fun.” If you are at a point in your life where you are stagnant, and you are afraid to open yourself up to love again…THIS is the book for you. It will lift your spirits and kick some HOPE into you. It will make you laugh. It will make you giddy. It will make you swoon. I had so much fun while reading Brynn and Tom’s story and I just know that YOU WILL TOO!

From the minute I read the chapter headings I knew this was going to be a fun-fest. Little did I know I was going to be laughing, giggling, snort-chortling through it all.

“And, man, my boobs are so perky! It’s like having extra storage space. I could shelve books up there.”

Brynn and Tom were thrown together in the most unorthodox way imaginable. What happens is so unbelievable that I needed it to be real. And it felt so real. The chemistry between these two is scorching! And of course when I say chemistry I really mean dirty and amazing SEX! What they do with that is sheer comic, romance genius.

“Not like when you’re on a first date and you feel like you’re about to be prepped for a pap smear.”

There are over the top characters – delightfully so. There are characters you want to laugh with, cry with and even throttle. These characters just invited me in to share their joy and their challenges and I was in – completely in – before the end of the first dip and/or ball…
After they worked through it all - all the ups and downs, the dips and balls, and everything in between – both Brynn and Tom gird their loins and fight back. The emotion that backs up all that hilarity meant that this book was not just fun but spectacular!

*swoon*
“Or maybe it’s just that this woman is the answer to a wish I hadn’t known I’d made.”

5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Sarina Bowen and Tanya Eby are a dynamic writing duo. Their collaboration of Man Hands is funny, flirty, and sexy. You will be laughing along with Brynn and her two friends and wondering what crazy thing will happen next. Tom and Brynn are a fun pair who will challenge each other for the better. If you are looking for your next new read, look no further than Man Hands, you will not be disappointed.

Brynn has just finalized her divorce and is not feeling great about her life. But when her friends take her out one night to bring some fun back in her life, little does she know that one kiss will change everything.

Tom just wants the party to end but when a hot, sexy woman comes barreling towards him and kisses him senseless he changes his mind. And after their hot romp in the boathouse, he is wondering if/when he will see her again. It’s sooner than he thought.

When a sex scandal turns their lives upside down, they know maybe they should steer clear of an actual relationship, but that’s easier said than done. They both need one another to turn around their professional careers so maybe spending time with each other won’t be so bad.

But they both weren’t expecting to fall for the other. Will they be able to have an actual relationship? Or will both of their exes come back into the picture and challenge their new found happiness that will make them doubt how they feel?

4.5/5

If you are look for a Romantic Comedy then Man Hands is the book for you. I literally laughed from the opening line forward. Brynn is still reeling from her divorce and has the perfect friends for a RomCom. They are blunt, passionate, and push Brynn out of her comfort zone. Tom is still reeling from a very public rejection. This is a story of boy meets girl, boy and girl have an intimate encounter and things go haywire. This book reflects our (sometimes ugly) social media culture and the paparazzi/24-hour media cycle. I truly enjoyed Brynn (and can relate for Brynn's stress cooking) and Tom's (omg the tool innuendos) (haha tool) story. The sexual innuendos (or outright passes), naughty thoughts (that sometimes come out out loud), and (sometimes) immature giddiness that comes with new relationships are what make this book. I could hardly put it down and it definitely made my day when reading it. If you enjoy dirty, sexy books with hilarious banter, over the top situations, primary and secondary characters with little to no firlter then pick up Man Hands! You won't be disappointed.

"POINT SIX TWO FIVE!"

Tom and Brynn are great strong characters. They overcome there being burned to trust and find love with one another.

Tom-sweet, fun and caring

Brynn-strong, funny and love her love of food.

The story-fast paced, funny and entertaining

I love how the characters are fun and sweet. How Tom is trying just to be a regular guy and get back to what he loves. He is just a great guy.

Brynn finds someone who likes her for her. Loves her love of food and just who she is as a whole. Loves her curves, her mind everything. Love Tom and how he respects Brynn

The attraction- palpable and sexy

The only part that got me batty at times was the self confidence of Brynn. she at times doubted and didn’t have faith in Tom and his feelings. Due to her horrible ex and his father who just they both deserve being smacked upside the head they have her feeling that she isn’t worth things and has her faith in men falter. Her ex and his father are horrible people. You root for Brynn to overcome it all and show them that she is worthy and deserves nothing but happiness and success. Tom helps her see she deserves that and more.

A sexy, funny story that entertains and just has you from the beginning and you don’t want to leave them when it ends.

Feel like hammering home one of your favourite readings of the year? Then do yourself a favour and get to grips with MAN HANDS. Bowen & Eby nail it with their engaging plot, lovable characters, and unbeatable comedic timing. I couldn’t get enough. Move over Fey & Poehler there’s a new double act in town!
Brynn is still reeling from the aftermath of her divorce. In her mid-thirties and in between jobs, her confidence is at an all-time low. Rallied her amazing besties, she’s gussied up and emotionally blackmailed into attending a party. Horrified by the presence of her ex-husband, she does what any self-respecting girl would do – which is to get off with another guy.
The guy in question is down to earth and good-with-his-hands, Tom. He’s quite literally bowled over by Brynn. She’s just the whirlwind of a distraction he needs. The trouble is as soon as she blows in, she’s gone again. With some time off between his next big project, he makes it his new mission to hunt her down.
Described by the authors as a “screwball comedy” it is exactly that. It’s over the top and hilarious and I giggled from the first page to the last, only stopping long enough to swoon. Fun and enjoyable, Man Hands is a refreshing and ground breaking start to a series that has renovated my take on romantic comedies.

Man Hands by Sarina Bowen and Tanya Eby

Oh Lordy, I think this book was just what I needed to read right now! From the first line of the book where I spat out my precious coffee to the very last page, it was packed with humor, heat, and innuendo. Add in the insanely likable characters and I was sold!

We have the recently divorced Brynn who, as her friends like to tell it, needs to get laid and television personality Tom, who wields his hammer as he sees fit. Mind out of the gutter people! He has his own home renovation show!

Brynn and Tom meet when she's dared by her friends to kiss the first man she sees while at a party and oh my, what a kiss it was! Unfortunately, the whole 'encounter' was captured and displayed all over the media and as a result, Tom and Brynn are forced to have a fake engagement that'll benefit them both.

Fun, fun, fun. That's what this book was about. I laughed a lot! Got to really enjoy the characters - even side characters - and cannot wait for the next book. I've read and loved most of Bowen's books and while Eby is new to me, I look forward to reading more of her work.

OMG this book was perfect!!! It was a perfect mix of right place and right time for me. I had just gotten off a couple of really emotional reads and this was everything I didn't know I needed.

Brynn and Tom were absolutely perfect together and Brynn completely cracked me up. I fell in love with them right away and I really enjoyed just getting absorbed in their world for a little bit.

Brynn is getting divorced and not sure if she's quite ready to move on. Tom is fresh off a relationship that left him drained. They're both not looking for anything real. At first, this works well for them, they're not looking for real and they're finding that in each other. They have fun together and their chemistry is perfect so they don't realize right away that they're getting in deeper and deeper with each other behind all the fun times and cooking adventures.

I loved that there wasn't some big dramatic deal made out of them finally being really together. They both know what they want and when they come together it's just love and perfection. The last chapter really wraps it up so perfectly. They have fun, they are achieving their goals and they adorably in love.

This was such a fun read and you should totally pick it up!!!

Brynn is doing her best to recover from her divorce, but despite her efforts to keep her head down her friends just want her to get out and try again. An unexpected sighting of her ex with new arm candy sends her flying (literally) into a stranger’s arms on a dare.

Tom is a “handyman,” but a handyman with a TV show. He isn’t expecting the sparks that fly after he catches (literally) a woman at a party, but the connection they find in the boathouse will follow them, even if he doesn’t actually know who she is.

The situations these two find themselves in had me in stitches from the start -- everything from giggles to full on laughter occurred as I read. This was a case of the perfect story at the perfect time. I absolutely needed this fun, humorous tale.

This was such a fun, light hearted rom-com. The humor was perfect at keeping the story easy and the situations entertaining. I went into this expecting something fun and funny and Man Hands delivered. I have read many of Sarina’s books, but this is my first time reading from Tanya. I look forward to their next collaboration with glee, especially with the bits and pieces we learn about Braht and Ash during Brynn and Tom’s story.

Sarina Bowen is simply one of my favorite authors and I truly believe she can "write" no wrong. With her latest collaboration, with a new to me author Tanya Eby , she's solidified herself as a premier rom- com author. It's true this is a laugh out loud story, but it's also incredibly smart and punctuated with a heave dose of schmexy.

What starts with a one night stand, quickly escalates to a fake engagement. Now, this isn't my favorite "trope" but Bowen and Eby pull it off with stunning results. The recently divorced Brynn is a vivacious character and on-board with helping our hero Tom out of a publicity nightmare. I mean, of course they really shouldn't have a repeat performance but no real strings attached, what could go wrong? Nothing really...but wheer the fun in that ? We need drama and we get just enough angst to make this a riveting read. Their chemistry is AMAZING and I for one am glad they have little self control. .

I'll end my review by borrowing a line directly from this book ~ "Wow. I feel spent, but also luminous." 5 Stars all the way on this wonderfully fun and hot kick off to the man hands series!

Man Hands Book One

After her divorce, Brynn's friends decide to force her back into the dating world with one big stipulation - she cannot date anyone that she is romantically attracted to. Bad decisions were made in the past, they intend to correct those mistakes in the future. So they get Brynn dressed up, including non-granny panties, and take her to a party. However, when her ex-husband shows up with another girl, Brynn is directed to turn around and kiss the first man to make eye contact with her. She does. The boathouse of the home they're in will never be the same again.

If you're looking for a laugh-out-loud romance with a Cinderella-esque twist, this is the book for you!

Audio Review:
Erin Mallon and Luke Daniels kill it! The humor inherent in the story requires narrators who can go all out, even if it might sound embarassing. These two are amazing.

Man Hands by the incredible talented author Sarina Bowen is the first book in the Man Hands Series.
Meet Brynn, she's a freshly divorced 34 year old woman. Her life is bla. Until she runs full force into a wall of muscle.
Meet Tom. Tom is a 38 year old reality Tv star. He wants nothing more than peace and quiet. He has his own baggage. But he can't get her out of his head. Fate/Karma is good to him and he finds her. And now the real fun begins.
Man Hands is a witty and fun read. The characters are great. I love the writing, the story and the characters. I could feel the characters emotions in the words. And the words, oh swoon - " flosses with beaver fur ".
I started reading and was hooked from page one. I read Man Hands in one sitting, I couldn't put it down. I'd like to unread the book and read it all over again for the first time. I really, greatly enjoyed this book. I highly recommend Man Hands and wish I could give more than 5 stars. Thank you so much, Sarina Bowen !

This book had me in stitches, it was simply brilliant. Sarina Bowen is an author I adore and never disappoints and I have not read anything from Tanya Eby before but I will be now. They did a simply brilliant job with this collaboration.

I loved all the characters in this book. Brynn and Tom were so sweet together and the chemistry was sizzling! Brynn was one of my favourite female characters in quite a while, she was so real, raw and so brave! Being a new divorcee after getting out a dull marriage she is just trying to move on and with her friends telling her to get under a hot stranger I give her serious points for how she achieved this! Tom was simply swoon-worthy, how can you not love a man who is hot, sweet and knows how to wield his hammer properly.

I loved their friends, they were witty and funny and I can't wait to see what happens in the next book with Ash and Braht!

If your looking for a lighthearted, funny, sexy read then this is the book for you.
