This is a "garbage" book from a "garbage" Author. As an Author myself let me make it clear that writing a book, especially a 'how-to' book is quite difficult and time consuming. The Author in this situation only wanted you to see the cover, think you're going to get something that you can brag about having learned, or god knows what because this book is titled too seriously for me to believe the Author was expecting the reader to KNOW this book is a joke, which it is. This book is garbage and I mean that because the Author never intended to write anything they didn't already know about, and presented the book as something which it definitely was NOT. This is a garbage book written by an Author whose written plenty of other GARBAGE books, so he knows this game well and probably plans his future around writing garbage books and tricking people into purchasing it and thinking they will get to know some very serious intellectual secrets to which they can brag about knowing and show off. This book shouldn't even be sold without actual reviews so people know whats going on, I read this free online, or let me restate that, I started reading the first few paragraphs before flipping through this and realizing what it was before deleting it. I can suggest actual books that DO have good knowledge though not forbidden, still highly interesting, I would direct you towards James F. Dunnigan's series of books with a similar name to this one, but a trillion times better reading and something you really WILL come away from more intelligent and even with a few things to whip out in front of friends and brag a little.

Received as a gift, thought it might have some practical tips on life hacks, but it's just a bunch of content one might find in a Maxim magazine subscription. No life hacks, but lots of jokes and sarcasm. Not worth your time unless you need something to keep you occupied in the restroom.

In this book you will find 101 things NOT everyone should know how to do including my favorites:

How to. . .
...hack an elevator
...complain and get results
...start an urban legend

Who couldn't use a little more danger in their life? A little more edge? A little more fun? With Forbidden Knowledge, you will get it all.

This was a fun one-day read. Most of the information is just for entertainment but I did get a kick out of trying to convince my co-workers to let me perform open-heart surgery on them. The introduction includes a disclaimer which states certain sections deal with activities and devices that would be in violation of various federal, state and local laws if actually carried out or constructed so read this book with a grain of salt. It's perfect reading for the 20something crowd.
Two Parties and a Funeral--Plus Plenty of Valet Parking!--in America's Gilded Capital :: One Dark Throne (Three Dark Crowns) :: Frostblood (The Frostblood Saga) :: The Edge of Everything :: Steal This Book

Everyone seems to be missing the point about this book. It's a comedy book, a gag. You are not supposed to do what this book tells you. That should be plain obvious since some of the topics are "Reading the necronomicon.", "Making a nuclear bomb." And "how to start a religion." If you take this book seriously, please get help.

A mixture of information, some of it good and some of it just for humor. If you're really looking to learn how to do any of these things, you'll need to get additional information elsewhere. The book is comedic but there are some pages that definitely need to be skipped over. Good bathroom reading.

I must confess that I had high expectations ont his book, but after I read it I got disapointed. It's not as useful as I thought it would be and most of the info in it, one can find easily on the net. As a humor book, I'd say that can be compared to a regular comic (except that a comic is far cheaper than this book).

Didn't like it.
