I just went to Jeff Giles' Los Angeles panel with James Dasher, who not only blurbed Giles' debut YA novel -- about a badass teen heroine and the hell-born demon who saves her -- but seemed to genuinely love it. Social media is already abuzz about "The Edge" being, well, everything. Buy it now and you can say you read it before it became a bestseller, a trilogy and/or a box-office smash.

The Edge of Everything gives a twist on a typical love story! Jeff did a great job with keeping the book engaging with all of its thrills and developed the characters to be loved by every reader. I was hooked from page one and couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next (not going to spoil anything!) Each page and chapter ending made me want to keep reading no matter what. Intense, dramatic, and extremely creative!

LOVED, LOVED, LOVED THIS BOOK. Giles has written such a butterflies-in-your-stomach story, he could have stopped at that. Instead he threw in vibrant characters, startlingly funny dialogue, and extraordinary language. The result is a beautifully-done novel with a whiz-bang plot. What more could you want?

This book had me from page one and entertained me the whole way through. It is extremely original and emotionally creative! Now my favorite book, This novel contains characters the are engaging and lovable (especially Jonah for me!) and I loved the darkness. A must read for sure!

Suspenseful and dark but stayed focused in its character development. If you have ever had a similar real life experience.. (i.e.. lost someone dear to you early, tragic, etc.). This will give you goosebumps.. in a good way! It did for me.

The book is quite good and interesting until you get close to the end (maybe at 60-70% done). At the end, the 2 main characters make poor, illogical decisions that prevent the possibility of a good ending. Overall, the book isn't terrible, but the ending is disappointing. If you're expecting a good ending, I wouldn't recommend reading this.
