The book was very thorough, explained how the brain works and why it's important to keep your mind sharp. Some of the exercises seem kind of quirky but I understand why the would help keep your brain working.
I received this product for free, opinions are 100% my own.

Excellent read and information for all ages. Very informative along with examples and real life experiences to try. Something that you will want to re-read and refer back too. Well worth your time. Very interesting!

This book reads like the first draft of a Freshman year remedial English paper. It's absolutely horrible. I thought it would have some actual brain teasers or puzzles worth doing. Nope. Absolute drivel for the mentally handicapped. I heavily skimmed the book up to the point where the author suggested that one of your neurobic activities be wearing "shoes on your hands or hats on your feet." I am not kidding. This is ridiculous. I deleted it immediately for fear I would actually get dumber for having it on my Kindle.

I received this product at a substantial discount in exchange for an honest review.

This was an interesting book. It was written in a very good conversational voice. The crossword puzzles clues would not display with my Kindle reader. It had what could be considered controversial. It also had some out of the box and very weird advice for improving your cognitive reasoning. One of the strangest ideas was wearing your shoes on your hands. The idea of this was to exercise your unused neurons.. There were other puzzles besides crosswords, but more would have be a welcome addition. There was a certain amount of repetition. I did like the idea of wearing your pajamas all the time.

I was super disappointed with this item. I thought first, that it was going to be a paperback, and second, that it was going to be an actual book of puzzles that you write in. This could be completely my fault, I may not have read the description enough. I love brain teasers and puzzle books. I downloaded this book on my Kindle and scrolled thru it waiting to find the puzzles. They are there; the book tells you to set up certain puzzles using things in your home. However, this is totally not what I was looking for. I wanted something I didn't have to read through. I received this item at a discount in exchange for an honest review.

I downloaded Jason Scotts Exercises for the Brain and Memory book. It wasn't what I expected but it was interesting. It explains everything in plain language so it's easily understood and comprehended. It gives you examples of things you can do to help with brain function and memory. I've never really put much thought into it. The beginning was a bit slow for me then one line caught me and made me want to continue reading. He said (and I paraphrase as I don't remember the exact working) is that the mind and brain are two different things. I had never really thought about it as such.

He explains Neurobic exercises and the important roles they play. He even tells you which puzzles and things help in certain ways. This is a well written, well explained, interesting book. I purchased this book for free for an honest unbiased review.

Pros:
Very informational and educational
Well Written
Easy to read and comprehend

Cons:
Starts a little slow.

I had gone into this purchase believing the name of the book meant that this was going to be full of puzzles you can actually do on the pages. Maybe like a Sudoku section, a crossword section, maybe a few word problems and stuff. Well, I was apparently wrong. This is some sort of book that just explains that you should probably go out and find those puzzles and do them if you want a better memory/brain.

It is truly absurd the things in this book and how obvious the content is. There's literally a section that says to wear clothes with textures... and suggests we use our creativity to cut out any non-essential activities that create stress in our lives... So, yeah.

Also, it lets you know that drinking water is the key to life so, hey, glad we figured that one out now.

It was very disappointing ! A waste of money...all it did was regurgitate all the well known things one should do to keep your brain healthy. I thought there were going to be some actual examples of new ways to challenge one's brain. Regret buying this book !

As I’m getting older I started studying about how there is a larger amount of people in American having memory loss. I was looking into reading up on ways to exercise my mind. Then I thought this would be a good e-book to read and uses. The exercises for the brain & memory with 70 Neurobic Exercises & Fun Puzzle To increase Metal Fitness & Boost Your Brain Juice Today was really hard to read and to stay focused. I was really confused and not interested, I am not saying that the e-book is not a good book to help exercise my brain and memory. This e-book is not for me and it was difficult for me to understand how it can help me. I’m a very stressful person and when I attempt to understand things I read, it give me a headache and I start to stress out. The record comes with word, memory, crossword puzzles, brain teaser, speed and number exercise. I suffer from a great deal of health problems so I have to read things that is easy to understand and make sense. Not educated about Neurobic so the e-book is not for me. I received this e-book for a discount price in exchange for a honest review.

Exercises for the Brain and Memory : 70 Neurobic Exercises & FUN Puzzles to Increase Mental Fitness & Boost Your Brain Juice Today (With Crossword Puzzles)

I have recently suffered two brain injuring illnesses that have left me with the need to exercise my brain in a variety of ways. This book makes many suggestions for ways to stretch you memory and reasoning areas of your brain. I purchased this book for actual games or challenges, but this is not what this book is really about. It is more a resource for you to find things to do to "exercise" your mind and help with thinking. If you are need some information on how your brain works and some suggestions on what to do to help yourself, this is the book for your.
I would probable have enjoyed it more in print than in the Kindle version as looking at the screen too long does give me a headache.
I have been given this book at a reduced price or free for my review.

Initially I was disappointed with this purchase. I downloaded this book onto my computer using a free kindle app that I downloaded. I expected this book to be puzzles and quizzes, but it is actually more of a manual, which actually is more helpful. I skimmed the book and am now in the process of reading it from the start again. I really think this book is going to help me (I'm downloading the kindle app on my phone right now). It seems like the older and busier I get, the more I have been forgetting. I will definitely be trying the exercises in this book. I downloaded this book for free using the app for my review, but it would definitely be worth the price.

This book is pretty interesting. I've used some brain training games before and this book is more practical for people who may not be able to understand or use the online games or apps. I think it would be wonderful to share with aging adults to help with dementia or Alzheimer's. I will also be using some of the suggestions with my client who has special needs. Maybe we will even read the book together. I got the book for free through Amzreviewtrader.com but definitely can see its value as a purchase. Every one should be training their brain, so anyone could really benefit from reading this book.
