When thinking of memorizing scripture there are so many different ways to try and do it. There's so much pressure to try and maintain a program that works, and Dr. Andrew Davis provides a simple and effective way to memorize His word with proven results.

This very brief work offers significant words of encouragement to those who would memorize Scripture along with a practical approach to go about doing it. The author's explanation of the reasons for memorizing Scripture gives insight into the power of God's Holy word. Worth the very quick read.

the author explains the requirement and the blessings of scripture memorization. He shows in sufficient detail how to memorize not just some favorite verses, but entire books such as Romans and Matthew. Read this and start memorizing more than you thought possible.

Very thorough and adequate for how short it is. Andrew presents a great way to approach scripture memory, gives sufficient reason as to why to do so, and also enables and encourages the reader in doing it.

Particularly liked the hints to learn verse by verse - 10 times looking, 10 times not on day 1, 10 times day 2 then for 100 days.
Learn with chapter and verse eg 2:8 for it is by grace...

Thanks Dr Davis.
Regards, Thomas

Good short read. A great decision maker...I have decided to implement the tools for memorizing the Word. I don't believe in chance encounters. I prayed about drawing closer to God and this book came my way. If you're reading this then you too need to start memorizing.

Dr. Davis offers a practical and easy to follow format for memorizing and internalizing larger portions of Scripture (or even whole books of the Bible). The practical steps will give any person the right game plan to recover this lost spiritual discipline and to "let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly."

This was definitely worth my dollar! I have now started memorizing 1 John with my family. I really like the way Dr. Davis has you memorize scripture, it is very profitable. The book is definitely worth reading, even if you don't go with the way he memorizes scripture.

This booklet was very informative and encouraging. The examples for what to do each day are very helpful for me and alleviate confusion regarding the plan. I will share this with my son and his wife and family of four home-schooled children and with friends. Thank you for this

I can't applaud this book enough. Although I memorize slightly differently, Dr. Davis' method is incredibly sound. For those out there who are considering the great feat of memorizing chunks of scripture I strongly encourage you too. This discipline is easily one of the greatest things I've ever started doing.

I really enjoyed this quick read, and have already almost memorized Psalm 96 because of it. Give yourself a half hour and be blessed by and equipped for memorization.

Scrounge your pockets, overturn your couch cushions, whatever it takes, and buy this!

Excellent method. I have done this for chapters but never a whole book. Challenging but doable I think! I will try including verse numbers with the next section I do, as well! Great encouragement and planning!

The proof of any theory is in the practice. Andrew's concepts are simple and effective but this doesn't make them easy. Memorizing is built on the character qualities of perseverance and consistency - but remember we "can do all things through Christ who strengthens..."

There are tons of "how to memorize scripture" methods out there, but Dr. Davis presents a doable method. His case for memorizing whole books rather than isolated verses is not only valid but sorely needed to bring balance back to interpretation of scripture.
