A Garden Girls Cozy Mystery (Garden Girls Christian Cozy Mystery Series Book 2)
A Garden Girls Cozy Mystery (Garden Girls Christian Cozy Mystery Series Book 2)

Review:Of this series, this is the best book. The protagonist is over 60 and the book is without smutty talk, both of which are a plus for me. the ability to solve the puzzle was limited since this author seems to enjoy holding back essential info, that can not be guessed, until the answer is revealed. A skilled author is able to provide a challenge to the reader and still play fair. Read more

Cry, the Beloved Country
Cry, the Beloved Country

Review:Note that this review is for the audio book narrated by Michael York. As for the book itself, this is the type of literature that I feel helps expand me as a human being. Paton does a great job of putting me in the shoes of several diverse people going through very difficult situations and helping me see all sides of the racial issues that were occurring in South Africa after World War II.

First of all, I was able to see and feel what the natives were going through with the minority tak... Read more

El Alquimista: Una Fabula Para Seguir Tus Suenos

Review:The pages in the book are in good condition, but all the answers were written in the book. I had to go through the whole book to erase the answers, but I can say I am still happy about the book for the price I got it for. Read more

Review:From the title i was not expecting to find what i found inside the pages of this book. But i'm glad i decided to read it. I think every man shoud read this book to understand women better, and women shoud read it to understand themselves better, like i did. Thank you Paolo Coelho! You're awesome! Read more

Review:This is "the" Paradise Lost to own... If you are new to Milton, Pullman's comments will guide you along.

What a beautiful edition. Classic illustrations; perfect fonts; Satan himself could never produce such a great volume. Read more

The Circle Series

Review:It's good, but it does take to long to get to the point. haven't read the last book yet, it seems it shouldn't even be a part. a trilogy would have been better i can already tell. Don't read if you don't want parallels to the bible or to read something with a clear conservative/ non gay/ "hate the sinner not the sin" agenda. Read more

God. Love. Marriage. Sex. And the Never-Ending Story of Male and Female.
God. Love. Marriage. Sex. And the Never-Ending Story of Male and Female.

Review:I have only read like 1/6 of the book and I think it's great!! It explains the marriage and relation between a man and a woman in such a good and easy way. It is based on the more important book - the Bible, and does not try to hide anything by explaining the Bible in English but explains the important words in the original language - Hebrew. I have always wondered about translations, and when I read my Bible (in Swedish) I wonder what God actually said and what the original language says.

Hild: A Novel
Hild: A Novel

Review:I don't know where to start. I read a lot, generally at least two books a week. I love large, thick books that can take awhile to read. When I love a book, the longer it lasts the better it is! I read with enjoyment. I don't spend my reading time with anything that I don't enjoy, which is why I seldom give books less than 3 stars here or on any other site on which I post my reviews. Actually, most of my reviews are 4-5 stars. This one should have at last 7 stars by that reckoning. Some books, ve... Read more

101 Secrets For Your Twenties
101 Secrets For Your Twenties

Review:I can't believe I didn't read this book sooner than at the age of 28!! Mr. Angone has really honed in on what it is to be in your 20's and actually living or the feeling that you aren't living at all. Mr Angone has so many golden nuggets in this book that it is hard to mention JUST ONE. This is a book that I will be referencing for a while, but also a book that I will give to all high school graduates. He is very honest and transparent throughout this book and his life experiences truly navigate... Read more
