Another novel by Christine Feehan. I have long been a fan of this author but I read so many of them I can't be very specific about this particular one. I have already read and donated it to my library here in Florida. Her books are basically paranormal and I think this is one of series.

This is a repeat of two stories already available! Most reviewers have made the mistake of not looking the description over, and thus unfairly rated the book. Dark Hunger and Dark Secrets are put together. I do think the cover shouldn't have a new title, which would throw anyone off into thinking this is the newest in Christine Feehan's carpathian series, but unfortunately the publishing company did this. In any case, in Dark Hunger we meet Riordan De La Cruz and Juliette. For a full review of their story, visit Dark Hunger. The full length story is Dark Secrets. We meet Rafael De La Cruz and Colby Jenson. Visit Dark Secrets for a complete review.
If by chance you've already purchased these stories, call Kindle Support and request your refund.

This book contains Dark Hunger, and Dark Secret. I love all of Christine Feehan's Carpathian books (The Dark books). Although these books are not sequential (why don't they (re)print the shorter stories attached to either the one immediately before it or after it?), they are both part of a very very good series.
Although her stories are a little too explicit for my preference, for the sake of enjoying the excellent storyline, I will put up with it. The Dark Series are one of my favorite storylines. When she comes out with a new Addison to the series, I tend to start all over with Dark Prince. (Needless to say, I have read dark Prince a few times.) Start with Dark Prince and read the whole series. It's great.

Both titles included in this collection were very good when they were originally released. I had this on my list to purchase because it is Christine Feehan, but as I read the synopsis of the book, it was pretty easy to determine that these are reprints, so I did not purchase. When reviewing books, don't base your review on your own mistake rather than the author's.

I enjoyed this book and especially Colby and her determination to be her own person and protect her family at all cost. For a strong woman it is difficult to turn over control and not be able to make her own decisions.

Meeting their lifemates changes everything. Carpathians see colors and feel emotions again. The hunters close to changing hope for this happening. I love this book series by Ms. Feehan. I look forward to reading more.

Rafael made me so angry through most of the book, on behalf of Colby. I wish there was more info on her gifts that she was more aware of after conversion. Other than the desire to vigorously shake Rafael I quite enjoyed the book, and am eagerly looking forward to the next one

I concur with the prior reviewer. It would have been nice to know that this is just a combo of books I already paid for and read. If I had known what I was going to get, I wouldn't have ordered this.
Really pissed.

I have all of Christine Feehans Dark Series and I have enjoyed them so much I thought Darkest at Dawn was a new Dark book,I was so disappointed when I discovered it wasn't. I realize I should of read and found out what it was, I truely believe it is confusing. I am so looking forward to Mrs. Feehans next new dark book. I have nothing but praise for her writing

I agree totally with the others. It should clearly say on the cover "previously published" i hate it when i spend money to find i have already read and still own the books. It is a waste of my time when i have to go the the authors website to try and figure out if it is a new book or an old book that has been re-named and re-released!
