Katie left me hanging on the last book (The Proposition) mouth wide open. I felt sorry for Emma and in love with Aidan.
So here we are The Proposal, I love Aidan even more, I thought he should have done a bit more groveling, but still he manage to make me teary eyed twice. Great romance, steamy sexy love scenes. Other than the female doc whose name eludes me now, and made me want to slap her, Iloved all the other characters.

I had read the Proposition, and while not a piece of great literature, the story line was okay. The Proposal, it's continuation really was over and over predictable, even less well written. I feel guilty for being so critical, for in appendix/appreciations the author seems very well intended. I will say that my purchase of these two books was inspired by the giveaway pricing from the store.

The book leaves off right from The Proposition, so read that first. And it's non-stop from there with affection, romance and I just have to say I love the way Aidan speaks to Emma. He's not a man that hides his emotions or his feelings, definitely a change from the first book. Love the way this book flows and introduces a hot new character, Dr. Pesh. Looking forward to reading the companion novel with Megan and the Dr.

I loved it just as much as the proposition! Katie's writing flows and makes it easy to get drawn into the characters and their world. I loved that this book was able to stand on its own, I mean after what Aiden did, one could wonder where the story would go. But it flowed beautifully and culminated into a lovely, 'ahhhhhh' type of ending.
Highly recommend these books, read them while on holidays and they were perfect.

High praises go to Katie Ashley with this book!!!

I was so excited for this sequel to come out and I was not let down!!

Emma and Aidan have such a rocky relationship, it's amazing these two never killed each other in the first book. Aidan has a huge hurdle that he needs to overcome and Emma does not make it easy for him. He broke her heart all because he couldn't man up and confess his true feelings in The Proposition. Now, he has to prove to Emma that he really has changed and that he truly does love her and wants to be with her forever. But did he finally screw up to the point that Emma won't be able to move past that and let him back in?

We meet Pesh, who takes Emma's breath away and makes her feel things that she thought she would only feel for Aidan. He is a true gentleman and will do anything to win Emma over. Emma is amazed by Pesh, especially since she is carrying another man's child. Pesh is definitely going to give Aidan a run for his money in trying to win Emma back.

I love the banter between all the characters - Cassie, Connor, Emma, Aidan, Pesh and Patrick; but I especially love the interactions between Emma and Aidan. It's so hard to fight something that is so right even though you are extremely afraid of getting crushed again. All of the banter and the jibes just add to this book. Everything was so true to life, it was so relatable and that made this book even better.

As Aidan tried to win Emma back - you will feel the love he has for her and their unborn son; you will see how hard he tries to do everything and anything to show her how serious he is about her and a future together. You will feel how torn Emma is with forgiving him and walking away. It's not an easy decision for her but once she makes her choice, there is no going back!

I felt so much love in this book - it brought me to tears many times. Emma and Aidan learned so much about each other but also about themselves throughout this book. Love really can conquer all!

Beautfully written - definite must read!!

sequel to The Proposition. *spoilers* After Aidan royally scewed up breaking Emma's heart, he must try to earn back her trust and love. Emma meanwhile still deeply loves Aidan but needs to protect both her heart and her unborn child from Aidan crushing her dreams. Will Aidan's efforts be enough, or is it too late for them as the sexy Doctor (Pesh) shows interest in Emma? LOVE LOVE LOVE this series!

4 STARS

I loved the whole concept of his story, beginning with The Proposition. The characters had great development, chemistry...loved the writing style, the humor, the smut :-)... Did not love Pesh..meh. He did nothing for me in keeping with this storyline. I did grow to love Aidan even more, if that was possible! I love Katie Ashley and her writing style! I'm am a forever fan!!

I just love Emma and Aiden! Those two together are freakin adorable! Don't get me wrong Pesh is smokin hot, but those two just fit so well together that it would have been wrong to put Emma with Pesh. Again, I absolutely loved this story, I thought it was a wonderful continuation of Aiden and Emma's story.

After finishing The Proposition, which left me hanging in that not-so-good place, I was eager to read its sequel. I thought I could predict all that would happen in The Proposal, but I was pleasantly surprised! Yes, Aidan and Emma reach their well-deserved HEA; however, Katie Ashley managed to write a very worthy sequel that is refreshing and fun with unexpected turns that I could have never predicted.

One of the things I love about this series is how well the secondary characters are written. As I mentioned in my review of The Proposition, Aidan and Emma's families and friends truly do make the story extra special. From the way Aidan's young nephew's innocent curiosity about where babies come from, Casey's nicknames for Aidan, Connor's comical nature, and Granddaddy's secret * gasp * are just a few of the things that kept the story flowing!

So, let's talk about Aidan and Emma! I'm sure Aidan pushed a lot of buttons for many with his actions in The Proposition, mine included, but he sure doesn't waste time realizing his mistakes. It is Emma that makes annoying mistakes this time around especially when handsome Dr. Alpesh Nadeen enters the picture. The journey to forgiveness and love isn't without bumps on the road, but eventually Aidan and Emma get there. Then they can't keep their hands off each other! Yeah, I saw how excited Aidan (a.k.a. Mr. Super Potent Sperm) was about those...ahem...handcuffs! These two are pretty insatiable together.

As for Pesh, well, he certainly makes up for being really creepy and weird in the beginning. He turned out to be one character I can't wait to see get his own HEA in The Pairing.

Overall, The Proposal will leave you in that warm and happy place. If you long to have a baby one day, it will leave you feeling hopeful. If you already have kids, it will evoke feelings and memories of the sounds, smells, joy and excitement of holding a precious newborn! :)

I have been anxiously waiting for the followup to The Proposition to arrive, and I was not disappointed. It was fun to watch the story develop between Aiden and Emma, and for Aiden to "man up" and decide what was worth fighting for. It was also interesting to see how Emma evolved as their story progressed. This is definatly a series worth reading if you like a good love story.

I absolutely hated how the first book ended. It left me screaming for him to hurry up before Emma came home. It takes a while but Aiden works hard to redeem himself. In the meantime, Emma meets a handsome doctor and I was afraid that things weren't going to work out for Aiden and Emma but Emma being on bed rest seems to bring them closer together.

Great series!!

I loved the continuation of the Proposition,The Proposal is a sweet love story about Aiden and Emma.Aiden is a guy who could not admit that he fell in love with Emma after he offered to impregnate when her gay friend Connor backed out. This story is about how he messed it all up in the first book and how is trying to fix it and make it right with Emma.

As the relationship falls apart because of Aidans fear, he family wants nothing more than the reconciliation because everyone loves Emma and thinks that she is good for Aidan and they see him differently. Loved this book. I enjoyed book 1 the most out of the 2 books but this book made me smile, laugh, and cry as well. Very Easy read

I enjoy these characters, the author makes them very real. I thought the idea of the Proposal itself was a little unreal, but maybe just explains the measures some men will go to for SEX. It was a nice story watching how the relationship between these two began and evolves, and the internal struggles that they are both being plagued with. This is a good one!

A wonderful story of healing hearts. I cried, I laughed and I love this book! *Spoiler* I did feel a little heartbroken at the end for Pesh, but I'm glad he got his own story. Emma and Aidan's dynamics are still wonderful to read. MAKE HIM WORK FOR IT EM!

AIDEN!!! Ooh Baby!!! Hot-Sexy-Cocky and ooohh sooo ROMANTIC!!! The entire series was beautiful and kept me up reading! I just couldn't get enough! I have too many favorite parts to pin just one. And the love scenes...Wow!! I loved how Katie gave more to the ending and made it just ROMATICALLY PERFECT!!

"You saved me Em. I would still be lost if you hadn't come into my life & I thank God everyday that you gave me another chance to show you how much my soul cries out for you. There will never be anyone else for me in the world " - Aiden

I enjoyed the proposition. I couldn't put it down. But this book was much more difficult to get through. The story was not dynamic and dragged on. They dialog between the characters was annoying and got on my nerves. The characters were one-dimensional and irritating. I would not recommend this book.

I loved The Proposition and really felt for Emma at the end. In The Proposal, I switched teams and was really rooting for Aidan. He changed so much throughout the book and really tried to show Emma how sorry he was and that he deserved a second chance. While the first book dealt with betrayal, this one dealt with forgiveness and acceptance.

Douchenoozle Aidan really had a lot to prove, especially with the addition for Pesh. I loved so hard when he was mentioned at Mr. McDreamy Bollywood and I'm so happy that he's going to have his own story. Emma had some tough decisions to make and overall, I'm so happy with the direction that the author took. It was great to finally come full circle and understand how Aidan felt and what was going through both of their minds.

Buy both The Proposition and The Proposal, you don't be disappointed. My only peeve is the cover of both books. I think the covers are great BUT the models don't match up to the descriptions of both Aidan and Emma. Emma is supposed to have auburn hair and Aidan is supposed to have sandy hair... Emma's hair looks kinda auburn but Aidan's is black.. I wish it matched up to what was written in the book.

This is the second installment in Katie Ashley's series. We left off at the end of The Proposition with Aidan having made a VERY poor decision because he was scared and ended up tearing apart his and Emma's relationship. Emma is now pregnant with Aidan's baby and having to be on bed rest for a while due to a few complications from stress. In The Proposal, Aidan has realized what a creep he was and tries over and over to get Emma to forgive him. Emma, of course, is undecided in this matter. She wants nothing to do with Aidan since he screwed up but her heart wants something else. We are introduced to yummy Dr. Nadeen aka Pesh. He also takes a liking to Emma and tries to court her with many romantic gestures. Emma is torn on who she should choose. The heart wants what the heart wants though and she does eventually pick one of them. Read The Proposal and find out who!

I loved this series and Katie Ashley's writing is fantastic! Check out all of her books and get to reading! She also has a few new books to look for coming soon!

I was so excited to read this book especially since I gave The Proposition 5 STARS. However, it was a disappointment for me. I just found the entire story predictable. I was a little bored and found myself skimming a lot.

I will read more by Katie Ashley, I just was just hoping for more in this one.

This story really had me hooked in the beginning but then about half way through it dropped off and was very hard to finish. It was very exciting at first wondering whether or not Emma & Aiden would get back together but then once they did it fizzled out and I was surprised to see that there was still 40% of the book left, it became quite boring and I really had to force myself to finish it.

What a wonderful, sweet and funny book. Once again I loved the banter between Emma and Aidan. It was very humorous. I enjoyed both books and would recommended them. I don't like to tell what happens in a story. But I can say the love scenes are very hot. The two Maine characters had chemistry I liked that. They were believable.

I loved the story of Aidan & Emma. Started with The Proposition and continued right through The Proposal. I didn't think I would be disappointed in the second book and boy was I right! I found it to be as hard to put down as the first! The writing was detailed and smooth and I look forward to reading more from Katie Ashley!

I have to admit that I really enjoyed The Proposition and was very much looking forward to reading The Proposal. I even bumped it up on my never ending list of books to read. While reading The Proposal, I found myself rolling my eyes at the over use of the word "douche". It even got the the point where the main guy, Aidan, was using the word. I'm sorry but I don't know a guy that will say "douchenozzle" or "douchecanoe" or whatever other word Ms. Ashley thought would work with douche. It was ridiculous and I know may be an inside joke but seriously it was overused! With regards to this new character she introduced and is writing a book on...I found him to be a little weird and really unnecessary in the book. I was highly disappointed and quite frankly, will not be buying any more books by this author.

Definitely spoiler alert.

Aidan is a cocking self-absorbed ass. Didn't like hummingbird the first book either. I realize Emma is pregnant with Aidans child, but if a man will do something once he'll do it again.

I am crushing something bad on Dr. Pesh Nadeen! He totally deserves a happily ever after.

When reading this book I was very heartbroken. I saw the things Aiden was doing to Emma. After he apologized t what he had done she had tormented him which I feel was in fair. he was totally showing her how much he loved her. I wasn't 100% crazy about the ending makes me want more.

Read the Proposition first. When you do you will need to pick this up right away. I loved this story & can't wait for the 3rd. Definitely a must read. The characters are relatable & you will want them to get there HEA. The author did a great job letting us get to know the characters & fall in love with them.

My friend recommended both this and the proposition and I'm glad she did! I enjoyed the stories and look forward to more books by Katie Ashley.
My only complaint is in the editing department. I could have done a better job with all those typos! It even became difficult at times to figure out what the writer meant to actually say, so much that it often interfered with the reading of a good novel. Hope it improves with the next one!

This series really surprised me...not sure what I was expecting, but it was good. Aidan really stepped up in The Proposal and showed that there was a lot more to him than just a guy wanting a good time. It was nice to see him grow and mature into what Emma needed and wanted. Just a really good series :)

After reading several of the early reviews I was fortunate to come upon this story after this second book was published. That was good because I've been knocking down a star for the "continuing sagas" that authors are publishing these days without warning readers. I'm so over that like many others are.

This was the first romance novel I've read that had a pregnancy, birthing and baby involved. I didn't know how I was going to like that since I usually like my romance novels with no children involved. I was surprised I liked it as much as I did.

Okay so now we get to see if Emma will take back Aidan from his cheating incident... I was a little mad that Katie Ashley took the story this way but it left a nice cliff hanger from the last book. This story like to first was written with good character development, good pace and good details.

I just have to say for being a NY Times best selling author, this book and the first had many editing fixes that needed to be corrected. But that aside I liked the complete story.

Do I recommend: YES....OF COURSE YOU GOTTA SEE OUT IT ENDS.. good story for the price.

For those that have read the Proposition this story leaves off right where that one ended, with Aidan and Emma separated because of his cheating. Aidan realizes he made a huge mistake and that Emma is the one. He begs and pleads her to forgive him. Emma isn't having it, but then something unexpected happens and Emma is put on bed side and Aidan steps up and takes care of her every whim. Emma still is still hurt and meets a doctor while in the hospital, Pesh. I loathed Pesh. He was coming in between Aidan and Emma and it pissed me off. He is really super sweet, though, and by the end of the book after certain events occurred I had a soft spot for him. This was a really good end to Emma and Aidan's story. For everyone that was upset about how The Proposition left off with with a major cliffhanger, rest assured there is no such thing in this one and all ends get tied up. Katie hit it out of the park again with this one & I can't wait to read more of her work.

Em is such a sweetheart and deserves so much more. Aidan can be such a douche but he turns out to be totally worthwhile. Don't wanna give too much away but you should buy the proposition and the proposal right away and start reading. Very sweet, romantic, frustrating and sometimes hot as hell.

This is the second book in this series that continue with Aidan and Emma's story.

It's perfect! It's totally refreshing to read a love story without so much extra baggage. This story made me laugh and feel good. I was giddy with joy for Emma. Every single character in this book makes you feel at home and loved. Katie Ashley did an amazing job at writing a book that radiates love.
