I loved this book. It was like being with friends and living through the drama we might all bump into along the way. I thought the dialogue was spot on and I personally loved how I got to know all of the ladies of the book club and loved them faults and all.

Mary Alice Monroe grabbed my heart once again. Time Is a River led me to this read, and now I'm shopping for my next Mary Alice Monroe read. I love her brand of women's fiction!

Very interesting story of individual women going through various life crises. The steps that they went through and the resolution that was satisfactory to all. This was interspersed with vignettes of the books that they were reading in their group.

Enjoyed the relationships of the women. Their unique differences brought them together through the common bond of friendship. Watching each woman transform as I read the book made it interesting and fun to read. The strength of friendships can carry anyone through a crisis.

I love Mary Alice Monroe. After reading her first book I went On Line and ordered 5 or 6 more. I've passed them on to my girlfriends and they love them. I'm a hero! I continue to search for more of her writings. I hope she never stops!

Mary Alice Monroe is an awesome storyteller. This book had well developed characters and a terrific story. The moral of the book; life is short. Use every day to what you think is the fullest. Would love a sequel.

The book club involved me into the lives many different personalities with books the common bond.
It held my interest and I had to finish before my daily obligations. I need to call my friend to encourage her to read it next.
