Alice in Zombieland

This book should have been named something else. I thought this was going to be more Alice in Wonderland themed, but the only thing it has in common with Alice in Wonderland is her name is Alice and a cloud shaped like a rabbit appears before danger. That's it. Also the "zombies" if you want to call them that, are more like ghosts. I mean really, spirit zombies. I just couldn't get a feel for this book. It just wasn't what I thought it was going to be. I went into this book thinking Alice in Wonderland with zombies AWESOME. And this is no where near that. If it had been called something else, it would be better but having that preconceived idea that it was Alice in Wonderland with zombies kind of just made this a huge disappointment. I didn't even finish it.

I rarely like anything about zombies but being a gena showalter book, I decided to give it a chance. I'm glade I did. While not as great as some of her other books, it was still a great read! Like many others, she has jumped on the zombie band waggon & delivered one of the more top quality reads. For those who love gena or a good zombie read with out too much of the stuff that really disturbs, then this is time well spent.

I was really impressed with this novel. It was different than what I was expecting and I'm actually happy about that. If you're looking for a book that is Alice in Wonderland with a few changes then this isn't the book for you. If you're looking for an original novel that was inspired by Alice in Wonderland then look no further. I am eagerly awaiting the next book!!

This book was a mesmerizing page Turner! It took me about a week to read it where as other books have taken me a month to read! There was twists and turns on almost every page which kept me longing for more.

Alice in Zombieland was phenomenal. Gut-wrenching, heart-pounding, oh-my-god-what's-going-to-happen-next-action-packed. I was sitting on the edge of my seat the entire time I was reading it. I couldn't put it down and I was completely riveted the entire time. It's a Zombie tale you've never read before and one you definitely need to pick up and read. Excellent work once again Gena Showalter. I can't wait for the next one!

well..For starters this was not a terrible book...it just didnt hold my attention...it had its moments and then it didnt...Alice is a quirky young girl with a strange attitude and story. Cole is a rude, self-loathing, jerk and I could not really bring myself to believe in their "romance"...it just wasnt there...With all that being said...I finished it and it held my attention enough that I would possibly read the 2nd one...hmmm..possibly..
