I absolutely love this book. it talks about a fun adventure of four girls and the never fairy. I just don't like that it gives you pictures it ruined the fun of imagining the characters yourself. T.T.Y.L.

This book has a really really good beginning. I liked this book because it's about fairies and magic. I like fairies and magic. You meet Prilla and Tink. You have to believe in magic and fairies to get to Neverland. This book is about four friends who get to go to Neverland. The girls have many adventures there and return home at the end. Tink invited them to come back. I'm excited for the next book.

I had trouble receiving ang packages this year and I ended up having the remainder of what I ordered shipped to someone elses house safely. I was able to get a refund on this book after not receiving it so I was able to get the full set shipped express to the second address successfuly, and they are adorable books. The whole christmas shipping issue was heartbreaking and everything went missing and being able to reorder some of the stuff I bought in time for christmas helped a lot. The company really helped a lot and were great at handling the situation.

Story Synopsis:
Friends Kate, Lainy and Mia are playing outside in Mia's yard when Gabby, Mia's little sister, meets Prilla, a fairy from Pixie Hollow. Prilla is a rare talent fairy in that she is a blink fairy. She transports to the mainland to visit children when she blinks as it is her job to keep children believing in Fairies, which keeps them alive. Mia cannot believe her luck--she always knew fairies existed but imagine her surprise when she gets to talk with Prilla!

In a blink everything changes. The four girls are transported to Pixie Hollow with Prilla. The girls are welcomed by Queen Clarion who instructs Tinker Bell and Prilla to watch over their short stay in Pixie Hollow. They should be able to return to mainland the next day when the conditions are favorable. During their short stay in Pixie Hollow, the girls get to see where the fairies live and work in Pixie Hollow and meet Terence when they go to get pixie dust so they can learn to fly.

Kate wants to learn to fly better so she can return to Pixie Hollow whenever she wants. After meeting Vidia, a fast flying fairy, promises to help Kate learn how to become a better flier if Kate meets her after the others have gone to bed. Tension mounts as Kate gets lost in Pixie Hollow after Vidia vanishes with the pixie dust Kate brought. What will Kate do and will the others find her in time for them to go home?

My Thoughts:
This is a cute new series involving the ever popular Disney Fairies. It is a great stepping stone up into longer books, perfect for those readers who need more of a challenge than Beginner Readers offer but are not quite ready for full fledged fiction novels. Within the story is a message about being truthful and the cliff at the end will keep the readers wanting to continue moving through the series. The artwork in the ARC I read were not final, but if the final art ends up being anything like what is present in the ARC, then it will enhance the story while helping break up the text for younger readers.

There was slight confusion on my part as to why Vidia has been banned from the going to the dust mill, but I cannot imagine many of the younger readers will think anything of this. Overall, I think this is an excellent edition into the Disney book family and I will not hesitate to recommend this chapter book to my library users.

This was absolutely adorable, clever, and very very well written.

This is a series I have to catch up with my daughter because she's on book six and she wants to buddy read. In the AR book system this is rated as 3.4 which is nearly halfway through third grade. This was a quick, yet clever and quite engaging read. I liked how each girl had a very solid personality, I found myself engaging more than others. Each fairy was adorable and I could see them in my head from the movies. Tinkerbelle seemed a bit more edgy. You know, the tink we grew to love from the original Peter Pan. She was sassy, quarky, and quick to huff but when push came to shove she came through for this age group.

I did think calling humans 'clumsies' was a bit odd, but original, and something that middle grade readers could identify with. I kept having to remember this book was geared for 8 year olds at times, but it kept me wanting to read more, get to the trouble, and then solve it all with a life lesson and good ending. I'm still a little unclear on how 'blinking' works, I'm not sure kids would care, but I would imagine that the author would be abl to better explain it to a childlike reader when she was so good and bringing to life the rest of Pixie Hallow. Remember, she writing a pre-determined reality, while still giving a bit of her own spin on it.

What I would like to see in this series: Growth in the girls. Time will have to pass and I know how my daughter was from age 8-10 and I hope the author reflects those changes because it will help the younger reader to keep engaged in the story arcs. I would like the life lessons and trials to become just a little bit tougher.

I highly recommend this for ages as young as second grade. If they like the Tink movies they will really enjoy these adventures.

Two chapters into this story, my child couldn't put it down! The tale of 4 girls who mysteriously blink their way into Neverland and meet the famous Pixie Hollow Fairies. The book is splendidly detailed and gives us a wonderful imagination of what it must be like to visit Neverland. Truly the girls version of Peter Pan or Peter and the Starcatchers. Made for a much younger audience- perfect read a loud for younger grades and a quick read for 3rd graders. We quickly ordered the entire collection after reading book #1.

My 2nd grader was introduced to this series at school and wanted them for herself at home. We are almost finished with this book, and I really it. It is easy for her to read, but has a good storyline that keeps her interested. She looks forward to reading this every night.

Tonight my daughters and I finished reading the first four books of this series. The books are engaging and we read them over the course of a month. My eldest, 7, is able to read the book out loud to us. She told me tonight that she likes that there are "pretend real girls" in this stories. She enjoys hearing about the inner workings of Pixie Hollow, recognizes the fairies in the stories, but also appreciates the elements of friendship between the real girls. My four year old, still enamored with princesses, enjoys the fairies, but was perhaps most captivated by Gabby, the "little sister" in the story as it is a role with which she can identify! We read as a family each evening. My eldest is really into chapter books, like the American Girl books, but the younger daughter isn't always able to follow everything going on. This series is one that really appeals to both my 7 and 4 year olds. I highly recommend it for this age range. My 7 year old wants her summer party to have a Never Girls theme!

I love that the fairies from the old chapter books return, including Prilla! I thought the old fairies were going to be forgotten about with the movies never mentioning any of them, but luckily, this series brought them back! It's cool to see normal, modern girls get to go to Never Land and I think kids will really love the Never Girls.

This book tells a great story of four best friends who surprisingly find a fairy named Prilla in their backyard. The girls travel to Never Land where Prilla lives with her fairy friends. Soon the exciting adventure begins.

I love this book! The girls are always friends, which means they'll look out for each other.Though, that doesn't mean that they don't fight, but that's normal for friends. This book is great for book clubs and girls of ages 7+.
