I listen to them on their various podcasts and sure enough the information they present there is made even more crystal clear in the book. Honestly, any person regardless of dieting experience or fitness level can buy this book and implement their strategies from Day 1. Author said at the beginning that this diet does not require counting calories or nutrition and it is very straight forward, yet on the following chapters he started to tell you how to calculate your calories and macros which is the opposite of what he started earlier! what makes it so different diet if iam going to calculate my macros anyway!!

The apperance and quality of paper and printing is normal,

Actually I was expecting more exciting information from Metabolic Blowtorch Diet (MBTD), but it’s technically a Targeted Intermittent Fasting Diet (TIFD) which men should optimally fast for period of 16-20 hours while women should fast for 12-15 hours.
Jay talks about a lot the benefits of fasting such as:
increases levels of growth hormone and decreases levels of insulin and blood sugar.

Jay explained about Body Types: Ectomorph, Endomorph and Mesomorph and how they can achieve their goal, no matter if it’s fat loss or maintaining.
He also adding a lot of different supplements to help you lose fat and be more sharp and focus, along with the benefits and side effects.

Overal I give 1 star review to this book, this book is written in simple language and anybody can benefit from it. I also wrote my reviews on the store, 3ee, Goodreads, LibraryThing and Social Medias such as: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Linkedin, Telegram and Google+.

Good book. Intermittent Fasting works well. It’s easy to make great food choices if you are simply not eating. Compound effect of weekly calorie restrictions will work to lose fat.

He has a lot of good stuff on macros. It’s a good book.

Disclosure: I got a free advance copy so part of my review is based on that fact. I waited for 8 weeks to post a review. I’ve gone from 265 to 240. What I am seeing in the mirror is making me smile. My girl likes what she sees as well.

Put in the work and get the results.

Follow up. I’m at my lowest weight since high school and best musculature of my life.

The Metabolic Blowtorch Diet is hands-down the most effective diet I've ever tried. It's simple and easy to understand. The best part is, since the diet is based around intermittent fasting, it's actually made my life easier by only dealing with food at certain times during the day.

By implementing the knowledge contained in The Metabolic Blowtorch Diet, I've shed a couple percentage points off my body fat in a mere couple of weeks. I'm confident that anybody who takes this information seriously WILL lose body fat, regardless of their previous fitness level.

Buy this book..... These guy are the good guys in the fitness business. In a complicated overloaded world of Information and Misinformation. These guys lay out an easy to replicate diet for success.

What I liked most was the examples were real world people. a 40 year old women who is 20% bodyfat and A weightlifter who is 15% bodyfat. Real people and real examples that can be copied.

Jay is brilliant , I liked his other TRT book. And Jim - Don't know much about him. But His training info looks very interesting.

Small investment for a very thoroughly researched book.

Have read both of your TRT books: audible of first, pdf for second, and just bought and read (quick first read thru) MTBD. You are the BOSS in this space!

First, let me thank you for truly being the most influential and immediately relevant advisor (including professors, coaches, work mentors) in my life thus far (just turned 50 yrs old last week) bar none.

I love your direct, comprehensive, and efficient style and delivery of perhaps the most life changing information in my over-educated life. My health and life are changing positively and noticeably for the first time ever after years of A-Z diets and comparatively incomplete workout/diet combinations.

This book, combined with TRT books (not to mentioned ongoing YouTube education) really make Jay Campbell the Master of this critically important yet still underinformed space in modern society.

another great book by jay cambell along with his good friend Jim Brown. These guys take the road less traveled approach of what really works do get you lean and muscular. There is so much crap out there and these guys are giving the latest research of what really does work to get lean and muscular. It used to be thought that you could only do one at a time, either build muscle or lose body fat. But this approach keeps me lean as hell and on my training days I am getting pumps like I never had before. the other days I just fast till after work. This book gives you all the nuts and bolts to make it happen. Thanks Jay and Jim! keep brining the information to us.

The Metabolic blowtorch diet is more than a diet, it is a lifestyle, this book really shows me how to live. Since i have been using it, it has helped me to remove those last layers of fat and look really lean à la Ronaldo. It has taught me things about exercise: how to lift weight without getting injured, about nutrition: what to eat and above all when and about spirituality, because Jay Campbell has even included spirituality in a way that you didnt expect. So i highly recommend this book, it looks deceptively short but it is like Sunzi Bingfa book, you need several readings to absorb all its treasure of wisdom

This book is not for everyone; this is advanced material with detailed workouts and dieting structures for all people based on their body type. It's clear Jay and Jim not only practice what they preach but researched this heavily. If you are interested in taking your health to the next level there's no more comprehensive yet implementable book out there. I've read a lot on dieting, fasting, and meal timing but nothing has all that information synthesized together like here. Essential if you are looking to get into the top 5% of physique. Note: I received a free advanced copy of this book.

I've heard a lot about intermittent fasting and wanted to give it a shot. Luckily for me, Jay and Jim's book gave me all the guidance and information necessary to get results. Let me tell you - IT ABSOLUTELY WORKS! Jay and Jim laid out everything with expert precision and I already got results from being on the program for a full week. I'm down a full 13 pounds and as they say in the book, once everything is dialed in it was EASY. Also, having energy and focus because of the diet is an added bonus. Bodyfat has been burning off me and I'm excited to get to my goal weight and bodyfat percentage using what I learned in this awesome book. Highly recommended and a must read!

I received an advance copy of this book. This book provides an incredible amount of knowledge in a relatively small amount of pages. Jim and Jay are well educated on the topic and provide a well written guide to a diet that has worked for them. Not only do they provide a diet, but they detail what they have tried before and why this works. They provide written examples of how to utilize the information they give you.

The most important feature of the book was that they cited where the information came from. In my career and in most fields, evidence-based practice is the gold standard. Jim and Jay provide evidence with in-text citations. They suggest articles to read to dive deeper on topics if you don't feel you have a solid working knowledge.

The diet itself is fantastic. Fasting will require effort but the benefits provided, including increased focus are all things worth striving to attain. I learned so much while reading including how fasting increases your focus. I plan on purchasing more of their work. They live out their research and provide evidence. Jim and Jay are completely transparent. Give this book a read.

The Good
This book finally explained fasting in a clear way and the best way to combine with weightlifting. I like the leangains 16/8 approach but the method laid out in the MBTD seems to be an upgraded version of the 16/8 fasting method. The book also gives more precise macros, supplements and additional information that I have implemented in my lifestyle that have made a specific difference, in particular the carb cycling and the morning cardio on fasting day which have caused be to drop at least a couple % in body fat without being hungry at all.

What I would have liked to see.
I would like to see how the authors would approach only having 2 large meals per day and how they would best apply damage control to this approach as 6 meals per day does not work with my lifestyle.

Overall, Cheers to Jay and Jim, I look forward to the future books!

This is not your typical diet book; when you start talking about BDNF during a fast you know you're on to something. The main thing I like about this book is that you can use it in any form that you need to. Example: I dont do macros (not at this point in my training) but I still get a lot out of this book just from the fasting. Body fat has gone down since reading this book, no doubt, just from the fasting alone. The book is very easy to read; most books are written like they are 100 pages too long, not this book, its straight to the point.

Definitely worth the read and if you put all the principles into practice, there is no way this book wont change your health.

Jay Campbell and Jim Brown have really simplified intermittent fasting and fat loss while maintaining your muscle and productivity. I've been trying various forms of intermittent fasting and really found it difficult to fast longer than 16 hours until I followed the guidelines in this book. Now I can easily go 20-24 hours no problem, all the while increasing my productivity. As an added bonus the fat is easily coming off week to week.

If you struggle with weight loss and have feel like you have tried everything then this is a must read for you. I cannot thank Jay and Jim enough. They are my go to resource for optimizing my life and body.

For the longest time, I've had great difficulty getting that last bit of belly fat cleared. And when I was able to clear that last bit of belly fat to get at or under 12% body fat, my body would often go catabolic where I'd often lose strength and muscle. With the basic principles of this diet, I can get to 12% body fat in under a week.

The only caveat is that I have had to cut out alcohol completely and drinking even a little bit screws up everything. If you want something easy that requires 3 simple rules to follow, I'm not sure this diet is for you. However, if you want something that'll let you be lean year round and is easily adaptable to your lifetstyle by following key principles and by avoiding putting certain things into your body, this is for you.

The book is very informative. After doing every insulin controlling diet out there and 16/8 for a few years I find that fasting longer ( 20 hrs or more) on days that I do not weight train has helped me get leaner. The best thing is that the program is very adaptable to any lifestyle! Overall great experience so far I would recommend listening to Jay Campbells Podcast ( TOT Revolution) it is one of the most informative optimization podcast out there. Jay Campbell and Jim Brown also have the TOT BIBLE which is a must read book. Looking forward to more products from these guys!

I had the opportunity to read through a version of the book a few days ago. The writing is succinct, and the plan is easy to implement. I am waiting to implement the information until the Forged Training program is officially available online (should be today). In tandem, I believe one will achieve his or her fat loss, health and longevity goals while, more critically, maintaining said goals throughout one's lifetime. That's really all most of us are after anyway.

This book demystifies fasting and provides a solid framework for burning fat and losing weight. I have received an advance copy of this book. This book is a quick read packed with large amount of knowledge in a small amount of pages. The detail that they provide is very in depth and well research. Since I started following the program I have become more focus, less hungry I'm seeing results already and I'm not really trying. I'm not good at writing there are other reviews here that can tell you more elegantly what a great book and diet it is all I can say is I have done many diets some work, some didn't I have lost a lot of weight on other diets but this is just easier.

Having competed as a wrestler I know fad diets... this is no fad diet! Jay has compiled years of research and experience into this book that will get it done with EFFICIENCY! Besides having a world class physique he is an interesting, multifaceted person, father, and even a spiritual pioneer on Twitter and you can't get there if you spend ALL DAY painfully dieting & in the gym. It's a clear, concise explanation of how to manage all the moving parts of diet, exercise, and timing that directly affects your health & wellness. It's a hyperbolic title, but with good reason; these strategies actually work. I've been playing around with some of the ideas in this book on my own time, but after seeing them all brought together so succinctly, it showed me where there's lots of room for improvement in my journey.

The MBTD is a fascinating deep dive into the minds of two people who are at the top of their game. It provides a clear and concise strategy to lose weight through a flexible plan with many variations. I particularly enjoyed the way it integrated supplements as well as providing information metformin and thyroid. The training plans are also designed to integrate with the eating plan in a seamless manner. I have enjoyed eating this way for the last few weeks - it is sustainable and I am excited to see the results.
