Harlan Coben is a Spider-like storyteller. He weaves such a web of twists and turns that keep you guessing and shocked until the very last page. This was the first book I have read in a long time where I couldn't figure out the mystery. The best part was that every time you think there is closure and answers, he throws in another incredible plot twist! I loved this book and have added this author to my favorites.

Caught has more twists and unexpected turns than you can keep up with. It keeps you fascinated and just when you think you've got it figured out, you discover you're wrong--again. This is definitely a stay-up-all-night thriller. The suspense will get your heart to pumping and doesn't let up.

As soon as you finish one of Harlan Coben's superior novels, you'll want more and more.

Coben is my 'airplane' read. You know, books to read on the flight so time passes quickly. This book I read in the weekend and most definitly got a 'weekend' read upgrade. Time well spend, I'll do the dishes and dusting some other time.

CAUGHT is my fourth Harlan Coben book. I like Coben's writing style—it's direct, witty and entertaining. However, I must say that the story is one of the most convoluted that I have ever read and yet I found it engaging, intense and challenging. The venue is New Jersey, specifically Princeton, where five of the supporting cast of players attended the prestigious university and where much of the story takes place. Coben is noted for starting his novels with a bang and continuing to build on the tension right up to the end. He achieved that goal in Caught. The protagonist, Wendy Tynes, is a strong-willed investigative reporter for the local television news station. She projects a “take no prisoners” attitude in her pursuit of truth and honesty regardless of any residual fallout she may personally suffer as a result. Her mental maneuvering and careful choice of intellectual weapons to overpower her enemies coupled with her sense of humor keep the reader engaged. Wendy is the star of the novel and in my mind she is the story. This stand-alone novel with its overworked plot zeros in on important family issues—protection of children from pedophilia and the dangers inherent in our social media networks. The ending or endings—the story did seem to have more than one—are full of surprises that I did not predict. I give the novel a 4- star rating.

Suburban teenager have difficult time. This book gets to the issues they face. They may be rich but with social media they face many challenges that people pre-internet never faced. A great read. A wake up call for people over 50.

Caught Is another outstanding book ! Coben brings some of his best work in this book ! He throws in a few familiar characters just to test your memory and let you imagine what they might do ! it is an excellent read and I couldn't put it down and was sad when I finished , not because of the ending just that I have to wait for him to write another!!

this book had it all--a well written story, really good characters, and an exciting to the end mystery. Coben is a favorite author mostly because his books truly are differnt from one to the next. I love that he brings characters from previous books forward to the new stories, but they add to the story instead of being the story. Thank you Harlan for another super story.

Totally stunned by this one! I was riveted until the very last page. Wasn't aware of all of Harlan Coben's stand alone books except for his more recent ones. Now, to my delight, I find all of these books I never knew about, probably because I am unable to go to book stores anymore. When I discovered Harlan Coben it was several years ago and all of the Myron Bolitar books were displayed together. I read, and enjoyed, all of them. The stand alone books were never displayed. Now, I feel as though I have discovered a gold mine! How fortuitous! I already have the more recent books but to discover many that I never knew about is wonderful. It's better than Christmas!

5+ Stars. Compelling stand-alone that is easy to follow and difficult to put down.

Interesting storyline about false accusations and devastation of lives. Twists throughout keep the reader guessing.

Believable characters with distinct personalities.

Informative and thought-provoking dialogue.

I may re-read this story and always look forward to works by this author.

This book explores the opposites of forgiveness and vindictiveness. Yet, it does so without preaching and in the context of an excellent mystery with twists and turns at every chapter. I loved the book and I think you will, too.
