I was preparing to make the leap from the monotonous corporate world to real estate and this book helped to seal the deal! After receiving two recommendations from future colleagues to read this book, i finally purchased (used, from the store. thanks.) this book. By far, the best move I have made so far!
Whenever I needed a break from my online pre-license courses I would pick up the book. Some days I read for 10 minutes and other days I would spend hours. This book is the result of decades of research and it is proven in the content. The layout is amazing. First, they spend time to get you in the right mind set. This was great for me because it supported my decision to make the leap, all while I was going through the transition. Secondly, the author starts at the ground level to help you determine what it will take to be successful. He cites successful clients which have netted $1million (the ultimate goal) to reassure you that what he is saying really does work.
As I got to the end I became less interested simply because I will not be owning my own brokerage firm. My goal is to be a broker (or salesperson) where I can run other businesses at the same time. So the time he spends teaching you how to recruit and train employees, was not relevant to me in the real estate world. It was still helpful information as I will have employees working for me in my other businesses.
Overall, this was an excellent book. If you are looking to get a better understanding of what it takes to be successful in the business, regardless of experience, I would highly encourage the book!

I bought this book for my brother for his birthday. He is a real estate agent. Well, he has barely got off the phone since raving how good it is. He wansn't being polite as it was a gift, as he is a very blunt person. He is an award winning real estate Agent, yet he said that there were many excellent tips in this book. He says he wished he had read this book years ago. He is recommending it to the other agents where he works.

This book is fabulous for anyone that is thinking about becoming a Real Estate Agent. Written by a millionaire Real Estate Agent, the author researched a lot of very successful Agents and distilled the formula for success. This book is a detailed plan on how to become a Millionaire as a Real Estate Agent from someone that not only successfully applied all this knowledge to himself but complemented it by studying other people that are also high achievers. This book is fascinating to read, entertaining, full of decades of experience. You don't have to re-invent the wheel, all you have to do is follow the clearly and easily detailed road map to millionaire. I am doing it and it is working.

Keller definitely feels strongly about the success you will discover by following his system. There's a lot to take from this book about patience, directed energy, and self-growth. I'm not sure, however, that the text is due for some updating. Real estate post 2008 is different.
