Amazing book. Exactly what we didn't know we needed. Can easily say it will change our lives, our kids lives and our grandkid's lives. A very easy, informative read that gets those rusty gears thinking and excited!

This book is GREAT! Covers absolutely everything. A must have. No matter your financial situation nor you age you can get started. And for those saving towards retirement already there's more that preparing for retirement entails and Chris Hogan covers it all.

Approachable, actionable, inspiring and most importantly, human. Something not usually attached to books dealing with retirement or personal finance. Thank you for helping me begin changing my family tree Chris.

I read through this book and found it was awesome. It has allowed me to think about retirement without the terror it once brought. The reason behind this is that I now have a plan and now where I need to go.

Well done book, although it could have been done in about half as many pages. Mr. Hogan has a large amount of experience in this field and I admire him and Mr. Ramsey for the work they have done over the years. The R:IQ assessment tool is worth the price of the book as far as I am concerned. I don't know if there was anything new or Earth Shattering in this book, but to me that is the key to success for Dave Ramsey and those he works with at his company. As Dave Ramsey even says, "We will give you the same advice your grandmother did..." However, that being said, it never hurts to have a review of the material, if for no other reason than to keep you grounded. Skim the stories, and mine this book for the nuggets that pertain to you and your situation.

Chris does a great job outlining a plan and covering the bases no matter where you are starting. I had my number in mind before I ever read this book but it confirmed my thinking when I ran the calculation and landed on the nearly the same number.

Chris does a great job of breaking down the various aspects of planning for a meaningful retirement through both education and examples. Highly recommend as a follow up to Financial Peace or Total Money Makeover.

Excellent read. This book focuses a lot on the purpose of saving as well as the techniques. Through personal examples of finances handled wisely and foolishly, Chris patiently explains the need to understand where our money is going. He also encourages you to keep your guard up against falling in to bad behavior or stepping on finacial landmines.

Absolutely loved it, very clear and on point. Brings out facts of failures in financial decisions simple people make because they do not know; and choices made by helping others out of love or guilt.
