I have to admit that, after reading the prologue, I was unsure if I was going to read this book. I persevered and was glad that I did. Kate's character did boggle my mind most of this book and the conclusions both she and Drew reached about each other was a bit much at times. An overall pretty good read and I actually liked it.

Hilarious. Sexy. Angst. Sweet. Emotional. Hot!! Need I say more? Twisted, the second book in the story of Drew and Kate, is everything I love in a book...hitting on a numerous portions of emotions while at the same time taking something as simple as effective communication in a relationship and applying it everyday life we live.

I absolutely LOVED this series! Tangled, Twister -- READ THEM! They are so good! If there was ever two people who were somewhat dysfunctional and were so in love... it's these two characters! These books are just funny, witty, loving, and it's just a great story! I highly recommend it! You will not be disappointed!

I loved Tangled and was so excited to read Twisted.. This book did not disappoint.. Love having most of it be from Kates's point of view. She was so funny. And there really is no one funnier then Drew. Was definitely laughing out loud at parts. Great story that wraps up Drew & Kate's story..looking forward to Dee's story!!

I absolutely love this series. Kate and Drew have some tough times in this book. Drew being the Alpha male that he is, screw up. He does make up for it in the end after a lesson well learned. These type of stories are the ones you want to read again and again. Love Emma Chase for telling such great tales

Love Emma Chase. Great writer, and enjoyed her works--- Tangled and now this--Twisted. Loved Drew's character, even Kate. In short, love their story. You made me laugh, cry and ponder on all the lessons learned. Now can't wait for Dee and Matt's story... You are gifted and an awesome writer, Emma!

I really enjoyed this book. It showed the growth that both characters needed to experience in their relationship. They were frustrating like usual but oh so true to their characters. I loved the epilogue. There is just something wonderful about Drew and the way his head works. He is absolutely fascinating!

I have decided that nobody can write romantic comedy better than Emma Chase! I read her first novel, Tangled, while on vacation at the South Carolina beaches last summer, and it was the perfect read to help me unwind from the stress of everyday life. I laughed my head off at the situational humor and internal dialogue written for Drew Evans as he pursued a relationship with hard-to-get Kate Brooks!
Twisted certainly had a different feel to it than Tangled did. The author decided to write this novel from the perspective of Kate Brooks. Emma Chase has a unique style of writing, but there is clearly a difference between her voice for Drew Evans and Kate Brooks, which is good. The plot of Twisted has heavier issues and is more emotional than that of Tangled, but readers will still see the author’s distinctive style of humor peppered throughout the novel. Her wit is mixed in with a storyline full of irony – a story where I laughed, felt sadness and even cried.
Readers should be prepared for a prologue that is sexy and intense! The epilogue is awesome – one of the best endings that I have ever read! Everything in between is a train wreck of massive proportions. There are some serious moments in Twisted, but I hope readers will appreciate and love this story as much as I did. Twisted is a solid 4.5 to 5 star read!

Well she did it again...another hilarious read. The sadness and heartache were there, the love and devotion were there and of course the laughter! Drew explaining where babies come from...OMG. If your looking for a funny book full of love and devotion yet still an easy light read this is the one.

I really liked this series but I definitely got aggravated at the behavior from both characters in this book 2. I know it's just a story line and was necessary but I just don't like when people act so stupid. Once I got passed that, it was good. Emma is a good writer overall!

This book had the whole spectrum of emotions and I loved every second of it! The passion was amazing and the characters feel like people you've known your whole life! Great second chapter for them and I can't wait for the next one!!

This is the sequel to 'Tangled'. I hated this book! I mean, I actually really liked it, but the characters did not communicate and all of their problems could have been avoided, if they spoke with one another! Ugh! What I gathered from this: Communication is Key! I really liked it!

I loved Twisted and I would recommend it to anyone, but they first have to read Tangled. Yes, there is a bit of a difference with this being in Kate's POV but it's still a great read. it's more serious yet still humorous than Tangled. I love the main characters just as much as the secondary ones. That Dee Dee is too funny. She doesn't hold back. Can't wait to read about Matthew and her.
As far as I'm concerned this is another great job by Emma Chase. Looking forward to the other two.

I REALLY enjoyed the first book TANGLED so I preordered TWISTED.
No comparison. It feels like the author rushed this book just to make her sequel deadline.
its a light read without a lot of substance. Good for an afternoon beside the pool but not much more than that.

Twisted takes place immediately after the events of Tangled, however this time it is told from Kate’s perspective. Maybe a little of the humor is lost with the story being told by Kate rather than Drew, but it also a little more down to earth, rather than the constant over the top honesty of Drew.
I liked that the supporting characters played just as much a part of this book that they did in the first, setting them up well to later have their own books in the series. It’s obvious that this is a close-knit group of friends that would do anything for each other and the group dynamic makes it a fun read.
In this book not only does Kate have to take a closer look at her relationship with Drew, but also with her ex, Billy. She must come to terms with her past and decide how that affects her future, and if she is truly ready to move on with either of them. Kate is forced to make some decisions that will ultimately change her life, with Drew or without him.
I really enjoyed Twisted, however not quite as much as Tangled. The angst in this book seems like it was brought about in a silly way with some simple miscommunications. You would think, both being adults, they would have worked through their problems rather than just assuming things like they did. Yes, it would have made for a different story, but I can’t help but think it may have made it more believable.
Like Tangled, Twisted is a fast, easy, humorous read. It is well written and the characters are even more developed this time around. If you had issues with the first book, you likely may not like this one as Drew and the boys are definitely a central part of the story, though tones down just a bit. I personally take Drew for the come relief that he provides so I will definitely be sticking around for the rest of this series!

I really enjoyed Emmma Chase's first book Tangled. I loved the two main characters as they were very funny and the chemistry that the two had were terrific mixed in with the humor and banter so I was looking forward to reading the author's second book.
So, I don't get it. What happened? Didn't like either POV here. The whole premise of the book is a weird misunderstanding and of course conclusions are jumped to and no one communicates till way later and uh.....yeah that's pretty much it. Drew was kind of a jerk but aren't these characters supposed to be adults? Kate immediately reacted and pouted...I mean, you discover something and you immediately assume???? You know the old saying...if you assume you make an a&& out of U and me.
Anyway, I found myself reading just to get through it and was disappointed because her first book was fun and delightful.
Will I read her next book? Maybe but will probably try the sample first just to see how the dialogue flows. This one just didn't do it for me.

Emma Chase, you totally rocked my world, help me escape and face my own feelings in an alternative universe. It was torturous and strangely cathartic. Thank you, you insanely talented woman. I applaud you and this work of art. Wow. Just wow!

I was a little disappointed with this book. Tangled was much better. However, I loved that it was from Kate's Pov and I wish he had made drew suffer a little more. It was a good read. I will still get book three.

I just love this series... I thought Tangled would be hard to top, but this one was just as good... Read it in one sitting... so fun and entertaining.... Can't wait for the rest of the books in the series.....

What happened to strong determined Kate? Apparently she was asking the same question. Hate is a strong word, but I hatd this story. I finished it because I wanted to to give a complete review.
Issues:
1> No real plot just a bunch of pity-partying going on by Kate,
2> 10 chapters of one huge misunderstanding where Kate was just as much to blame as Drew. When did lying become dismissable? Why wasn't her fault emphsized more in the story to everyone? It all started with her lie. Seriously this was almost juvenile.
3> The misunderstanding was stupid that it should not have taken 10 chapters to address. It made me fall out of love with this couple.
4> It felt more like an opportunity to highlight Kate and Billy Warren's relationship with all the flashback and him being there. He wasn't all that great of a guy either so to now try to give him some friend with benefit redeaming quality WT*. Kissing? Really. Whose suppos to believe it's truly over if you would still kiss. Perhaps that is the backdrop for DeeDee story in Tamed.

I love this series. This one was mostly from Kate's POV. I love how she picks up on Drew's mannerisms so the book reads a lot like Tangled. Drew is the same typical guy for most of the story, but isn't he so cute? Awesome follow up book! If you loved Tangled you won't be disappointed.
