I contacted the store about it arriving with a damaged cover -- the box must've been lying somewhere damp between the warehouse and my house (it wasn't rainy the day it arrived) and it arrived all scrunched from being wet. I never got a response from the store! Disappointed in customer service.

My children always loved this book, so I bought it for my grandsons. I was delighted to find that it came with a CD so that the children can listen on their own when their parents are busy. (When mine were little, I made my own audio tapes of their favorite books for them to listen to on long car trips).

This is a wonderfully illustrated story of a Mama Duck in the city of Boston who stops traffic as she seeks to take her babies across the street to the park. It is masterfully written by the author Robert McCloskey (read another book of McCloskye's, Homer Price).

Classic that should be part of every child's' library! Illustrations are not as colorful as a more current book. Doesn't matter, it is a classic. Do not want book to become extinct. Purchased for my son, retraced steps of book in Public Gardens and now purchased for granddaughter to do the same with us!

Everyday for a week we waited anxiously for the books arrival. When the book arrived my Grandaughter was elated. She loves animals and read the book to everyone who would listen. Happy with the outcome.

This is an excellent book with beautiful artwork. The story is charming and it even subtly provides lessons about duck behavior! My daughters are young (2 and 4) and we love reading this story together. I'm sure that will be true for years to come.
