Vampires are my favorite read. That being said, I've read many books on the subject, some fantastic, some not so much. Ms Lucas is on the top of the list. I've loved each of the 5 books I've read so far and am eagerly looking forward to the 6th and wish the 7th was already available! Her characterization is spot on, she paints each character in this small "clan" with such vivid visualization that you can't wait to read more about each one. She also brings each past character into each new story so you don't lose touch with each of them. Amazing writer, amazing story. Not your typical vampire love story but very hot and very well told. Kudos!

This is an awesome supernatural romance series. It falls under the category of some of the best out there in this genre. Plan on leaving the exact same comment on all the other books in the series because it is true of them all.

Another great cover. Book one's was inspiring, and this depiction of Amanda is perfect as well. I really enjoyed all the action in this book, with the kidnapping and search, and the intro of Andrew into the activity is great. I really liked the interaction between him, Kian and the others during the search. Delhi's and Amanda's story is also a must read.

Dark Enemy Captured was a good read. It's ironic that the Series seems to be getting better but fewer people seem to be reading it. The writing is concise. The author stills needs to focus on catching the grammatical errors, the missing words and other obvious editing errors. One confusing instance was occurred in Chapter 13. Annani asked Onidu to bring her some Perrier which by definition is mineral water. However, a little later it's stated that " Annani accepted the glass of "soda" from Onidu.... Then during the same conversation between Amanda and Annani it's stated that "Amanda lifted the carafe pouring herself more sparkling water." Nevertheless, none of the errors were too distracting and I enjoyed the story despite them. The character development continues to blossom and expand but Kian seems to be begin depicted increasingly one dimensionally. I don't like that! Everyone else seems to be growing. The storyline is also becoming more original and intriguing. There's still action, adventure, bits of humor, drama and sensual sex scenes. The story never gets bogged down and proceeds at a good pace. As with its predecessors, this book also ends, frustratingly so, in a true cliffhanger. I can hardly wait for the release of book 6. I've got aa feeling that some really good stuff is about to happen! I recommend that you give the Series a go if you fancy paranormal romances with plenty of action, unique concepts and sizzling love scenes.

This Paranormal Romance Series is addictive! I have stayed up until the wee hours of the morning reading! I just can't put it down. It is Amanda's peril that is in this book and the next. It should be very interesting to see what happens to her.

This series has been very enjoyable. Interesting characters and skillful and creative writing. Mortals and immortals, Doomers, all in life or death struggles, while still searching for loves and alliances. Looking forward to the 6th book.

The characters are amazingly written with more than the shell description. Each thought and emotion described Well and continued through each chapter allowing a tantalizing peek into not only the charact er but the writer behind.
