I ordered this book after my mother attended a local psychic who recommended. Looking through the book Echo Bodine offers the name and phone number of her sister Nikki Bodine. I contacted Nikki for a reading and was speechless at what she charges. For a typical reading she charges $195.00 dollars and to contact spirit she charges $295.00. I am not a medium but know all readings require contacting Spirit.. Duh.

Whatever happened to the days when psychics would charge $10.00 and speak randomly with no guess work, fast paced information that a recorder would be needed. Yes my friends, those days are over. Very seldom do you find a REAL psychic with THE GIFT.
I asked Nikky Bodine, who is piggy backing on her sisters book, “If you contact the spirit how do I know a demon is not speaking through you? She said she works with the spirit of love and light and she does not work with anything dark. I couldn't help but to reply “If you did work with the Spirit Of Love and Light you would NOT be exploiting others, especially those in their moment of need or grief. Jesus said, “It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than a rich men enter the kingdom of heaven. You cannot serve two masters GOD and MONEY. Blind Guides filled with deception and thieves.
To Echo Bodine and her sister Nikki, I wish you all that Karma has to offer. Shame on you, if you truly had psychic gifts, I doubt you would use it to exploit.
This book is a short version of all that has already been said written and published, nothing groundbreaking here just hilarious, repetitive, outrageous exaggerations.
To date my best reads on the subject are Journey of Souls or Destiny of Souls.

Hold onto your hats! Ms. Bodine's book stretches the imagination to the bursting point. If you are looking for a serious book about matters of the soul, I think you will be outraged. If, on the other hand, you like a book that tells you that the soul is reading books on "the other side"; that there are communities in the afterlife and people look just like they did on earth, only better, you might want to buy this book. You will also be treated to her seeing Elvis, Nat King Cole, JFK, and Jesus while visiting the other side. After people die, their souls sometimes have to go to a hospital in Heaven because of the drugs they were given just before they died. I wonder if souls can get hangovers? Souls are seen as often somewhat irresponsible, hopping into the body at the moment of birth or shortly after. Some souls have a hard time fitting into a little body. Many souls are seen by Echo, wandering around, wondering whether to bag this earthly life and try again or stick around and try to learn some lessons so they can be promoted when they go back to Heaven. Heaven is sort of run like a Boy Scout Troup (who would have known?), and by going to earth time and time again, you get more merit badges. When you get enough merit badges, you don't have to reincarnate. You just stay in Heaven and look like Jello because you feel no urge to take on a more substantial form. All this is right in the book. I was looking for a serious book on thoughts and experiences on the soul and instead I ended up with a comic book.

As a fine artist and photographer, everything around me inspires me and one of my biggest inspirations is and will always be reading. A friend recommended Echoes of the Soul to me while I was going through an emotional crisis. During that time I was looking for answers and Bodine spoke to me through her book. This book was a very easy read and even easier to understand, which was a huge help due to my busy lifestyle. Bodine touched on various topics such as life after death (the path of the soul), what happens to your soul when you sleep, Bodine's personal experiences with souls and my personal favorite, the numbering placement of souls. The first chapter on souls focused on understanding people and their place in the world. Bodine explained that every soul has a number, usually between 1 and 4. Number 1 being totally unaware of souls, life after death and number 4 being totally aware of life after death and souls placement in the world. This concept alone helped me let go of any negativity or fear towards anyone in my life and gave me a clear understanding about anyone's reasoning for negativity in his or her life. The personal experiences Bodine shared in Echoes of the Soul was an aide to help the reader understand the point being made, whether or not it was actually factual or not. Reincarnation, spirituality and meditation are huge topics in this book, which I believe also aided Bodine in explaining why things happen and better explain the cycle of the universe. Even if absolutely nothing in this book is factual, the reader will walk away with some kind of healing. This book is a must read for those whoa re exploring or thinking about exploring their own spirituality or just want to know "why".

Echo Bodine is a pychic and spiritual healer. This book reads as if she is sitting there talking to you. Echoes of The Soul is a fast reading and enlightening book.
I like her positive vision of the afterlife.I enjoy the way she takes the reader through the realms of existense in the afterlife. Echo explains that our souls go through several states when we pass over. There are parts in this book about spirit guides, reincarnation, realtionships, fears, karma, you get the idea.
This is an ideal book for readers that are newly opening up to their awareness. It is quite an enjoyable book. I shd correct myself and also say it is an enjoyable book for even a reader that is "full" of awareness :-)

I have true admiration for Echo Bodine, her life lessons, her spiritual lessons, she shares with her readers her deepest struggles in life. I will admit after reading Echos of the soul, I absorbed a better understanding of my life, about life in its self. Echo has a way of keeping it simple, as a matter of fact. Countless aw ha moments, as I kept saying to my self, that makes perfect sense. I reccomend this book to all who has ever questioned is there life after death, do our souls live on. Echo is an amazing women, a classy Lady, who has changed the life's of people, healed the sick, mind body & soul. She has made me a better person knowing her, reading her books, and the lessons she has shared about her own life. In other words and I quote "
" ECHO YOU ROCK "

Echo Bodine confirms what many of us intuitively know exists - our past lives. Her approach is honest as she reveals her own experiences and those of her clients' in a way that empowers us and allows us to face the truth of our soul. This book helps us understand a past unknown to us as well as coach us through our current life and prepare us for the next step. This book reveals many truths without intimidating or confusing the reader.

This book changed my life. Made me more open-minded as it allowed me to see others and this world is such a different way (better). I was recommended this book and I finished it in several days. I have now passed it down to friends. A must read!

Despite a full time job and three teenagers at home, I finished this book in under 36 hours. After reading too many books to contemplate, I have found the ultimate guide to the soul's journey. Echo Bodine has shown with easy to understand language the path we all take here on earth and beyond. My view of life has changed much in the past few years and this book closes the need to search for anymore anwsers. I hope that we see more prose from this author. Thank you Echo for writing a book that I will read again, and again, and again....

The cover caught my eye first, then the title. I have always been enthralled with stories of life after death, souls, spirits and heaven. I have always believed that there must be more to life than the here and now. Having lost both my parents in the past two years I have since been searching for more answers on life after death. This book made the events of my family's life make sense and my parents passing easier. It also makes all life possibilities and peoples choices & paths of their lives make sense. I couldn't put the book down once I started to read it. Awesome and inspiring!

Having been raised Catholic, I have lots of unanswered questions about souls and the afterlife. It is a very honest, at times almost scary reality she writes of. I was glued to every page and will read it again. I believe Echo's talents are real and respect of work. Hopefully she will write an autobiography soon.

Because of this book, my life has changed from one of despair and sadness to a life filled with hope and joy. I always knew there was more to the earthly journey than was obvious. Not only did Echo Bodine verify what I already knew or suspected, she filled in the gaps. The information you will gain from this book will leave you better able to fulfill your destiny, and to get more value and love from this life.

After reading this book I found peace with my life and my faith. I have been going through alot the past few years and was finding it hard to cope with... now I feel nothing but peace with my struggle. If you are open to the ideas of reincarnation, life after death, angels and a nonjudgemental God... then this book can help you to deal with loss, life and death. A great read!

I throughly enjoyed this book. It was just so sweet and heart lifting. I would recommend it to anyone who needs a little pick me up when dealing with the unimportant issues that bog us down in this earth school. A good book to read when your dealing with the loss of a loved one.

This book lifted the weight of grief from my heart. As I read each page, I felt tremendous comfort knowing more about my mother's recent journey to the other side - and her "graduation day" celebration. I have also shared this book with a terminally ill friend so that he may now have a better understanding of the incredible journey he is about to take.... and the knowing we will all see eachother again ~

I found the book a good read and enlightening ,,, but it certainly stretches my imagination when someone claims to have made a journey to Heaven ... even on a psychic level. Echo Bodine is the only one that I know of who has made this divine voyage (and given a fairly extensive tour at that.) Doubtful here in Florida.

I really enjoyed and felt enlighted by this book. I have made life changes because of it. It inspired me to be a better person and also to have more patience with people. I try to live more by my intuition and I am more accepting of things when they don't go as I plan. I have bought this book for about 5 people I know in hopes that it inspires them the way it inspired me.

Echo Bodine charges $200 for a one hour reading. This is her made up fantasy. I used to believe psychic's until my experience with her. I suggest anyone who has a question about their spiritual life, and looks anywhere but their own heart, buy a fortune cookie -- much more reasonable, and as accurate as Echo Bodine. I asked her for some medical information, and she was dead wrong, as proven later in time. When I told her about it, and requested a refund. Her only response was, "I don't know why I was given the wrong information. And I don't have $200 just laying around". Follow your own intuition; and read her books for fun, not for fact.

Also, I wrote a similiar review, and it has disappeared. Evidently, authors can weed out bad reviews and keep the good ones.
