This book (though there are three there is no need to split them up, they should have been one) reads plot point for plot point like twilight fan fiction, just replace vampire with Norse god. Hard to believe but the writing was even worse. That being said, I felt compelled to read the whole thing so I gave it two stars instead of one.

Tur:

I love reading "side stories" from other characters in series, and this one is no different! Inga and Gunnar are oh so lovable! And their chemistry with each other will make anyone envious of their marriage. But on another note, Inga is exactly the kind of herione that girls need to read about. She's strong, determined, and able to take care of herself. She fights for what she wants, and what she loves. What a woman to aspire to be!

I do also love the fact that it's a bit of a back story of what happens to Ull, and leading up to the Elsker Saga. I sure hope there are more like these to come! I just cannot get enough of the stories this author has to offer. I'm sure you will agree with me once you've read one of her books!

Elsker:

By the time I got through the first chapter, I was hooked! And in less than 5 hours from starting the book, I was finished and wanting more of Kristia and Ull. This great story will draw you in from page one, and have you on the edge of your seat with anticipation. You will laugh, cry, and cheer on all the characters of this book from start to finish. Once you read the last page, you'll instantly want to move onto book 2 to find out what happens next. I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys Norse Mythology and Paranormal Romance. You'll believe in love all over again with this story.

Endre:

The amazingly wonderful S.T. Bende has done it again with the second installment of The Elsker Saga. As the story continues on for Kristia and Ull, you'll once again be drawn in from start to finish. You will catch your breath and wonder what will be in the future for the two star-crossed lovers. Just as things are coming together, it also seems that everything is going to fall apart. Will the love they have for one another be able to keep them together through it all? You will just have to read and find out for yourself. Believe me, you will not be disappointed!

Tro:

The conclusion of this series will leave you breathless and begging for more. I was sad to see it end, but I feel honored to have stumbled across and read it. I've passed on the love I have for this series to others, and hope that many more come to enjoy it as much as I have. :D

What an amazingly different story, I cannot find the words to describe just how much I this book. Ull will always be my book boyfriend
The story has just about everything I love in a romance novel. Ull & Kristia have some interesting things to overcom, after all dating the god of winter is kind of differant. I liked the way the story developed. this book really made the myth's come alive for me.
Book 2 Endre, here I come.
You often read a second book and walk away disappointed, that is NOT the case here. The second book is as good as the first if not better.
Ull is an unbelievable man, I mean god. The God of Winter is romantic, sexy, sweet and protective. Kristia is sweet, brave and as protecitve
of Ull and Asgard as they are of her. Surprises in the first book are expanded upon in the second. It is so hard for me not to give away some of this story, but i really think you should read it for your self. You too will want Ull for your forever book boyfriend and will fall in love with all the Norse Gods, even Odin. This series has captured my imagination and my heart. Give it a read, you will love it too.

What am amazing book. Gods & Goddesses, Faithful friends & bitter enemies. Good vs Evil. I cannot get enough of this series. I would love to read more about some of the other characters we have met & Ardis needs her HEA what ever that might be. Five stars for this truly exciting book. It is so hard to not give away the story. Read it you won't be sorry

This entire series was fast paced, sweet, had tons of action, full of chick lit romance, and had its funny moments. If you're wanting a quick, well put-together read, then this is a good series to choose!

The story was well written and descriptive, but not overly descriptive where it feels like it's being crammed down your throat.

All in all, great series and I'd rate it overall a 4.5!

Wow what a read. I absolutely loved Kristia and Ull and their adventurous love story. The twist that S.T puts on the Norse gods makes for a fantastic read. The fact that Kristia would do anything to stay and marry Ull. In Elsker Kristia and Ull find each other and in Endre you read about their wedding plans and Goddess lessons and more with worrying about Ragnarok coming soon in the 3rd book Tro has the honeymoon and Kristia kicking some serious butt becoming a warrior their is a lot of fights in this one and wowza what a ending to a Perfekt book series besides the action this series is mostly a love story that anyone would love to have in their hands Tur the novella is a great short dealing with Inga and Gunnars love story also

I purchased and reviewed each of these stories separately and if you are looking for an awesome series of Norse gods, this is the series for you. Kristia is a strong young woman who meets and falls for Ull, the Norse god of winter. She is perfect match for him and their life together is told throughout the 3 books. There is humor, suspense, adventure, romance all rolled up into a very well told story that will keep you reading and wanting more. For more detailed reviews, please check my reviews under each individual book, but you will not be disappointed if you like Norse mythology with this series.

I absolutely adored these books! It is a wonderful YA love story. I got the first one, Elsker for free and was quickly drawn into the world of Kristia and Ull, (Gunner and Inga are great too!). I read it within a day and absolutely had to know what happened next. I bought the box set because it has all the books and the novella all in one place! ST is an amazing story teller. Kristia is a great main character and I enjoyed watching her grow throughout the series. Unlike many other main female characters, I was able to understand all of the choices that Kristia made and felt like they were believable. And Ull...oh, Ull... he is fantastic as well. Moody and broody at the beginning but it is all explained as the story continues. I like Kristia and Ull as a couple and I think they work really well together. I loved Tur, seeing Ull before Kristia and I liked reading about Inga and Gunner. This whole series is wonderful and I couldn't put any of the books down until I had finished them! ST is an auto-buy author for me, Read these - you won't regretit!

Love. Having the entire Saga in one place - one box set is awesome.

All of the books are amazing and are something I feel loads of people can relate to - well if your dating the Norse God of Winter.

There is something in the series for everyone - love, adventure, self discovery, action, magic, and drool worthy gods. What's not to love.

1) Elsker

Freaking brilliant that is what this book was!!! MUST READ OF 2014... 5 stars plus!!

S.T. Bende has a way to blend contemporary with fantasy in the most excellent manner. The book sucks you in from the very first minute and it won't let you go till you are done. Oh, and trust me you'll be begging for more when you see how it ends! ;)

Kristia and Ull are an epic couple... He,the Norwegian God and she, the "..." ;-) You fill in the blanks...
Their story felt like a normal contemporary romance novel, but with the difference that Norwegian Mythology is woven into it.. In the best way possible that is, even if you do not love mythology I solemnly swear you will fall head over heels in love with this book!

They meet one another when Kristia finally decides to get out of the sleepy town she has been living in her entire life and go of to college in England. What she didn't expect is to find a hot as hell and very cocky yet very sweet Norwegian God. It won't be an easey journey but when they finally cave in it'll be epic!

I have cried, I have shouted and I have laughed my freakings ass of... and there are few books out there that have been able to do that to me. Once again, I urge you to go read this book asap and I promise you won't regret it.

I just want my next Ull fix and I want it now!

My my my, do I love this series! S.t. Bende has hit another homerun with Endre.

It is just one of those series that you know will capture your heart and will stay with you forever. And believe me when I say that it is rare for me these days to finds books that I actually want to finish and look forward for the next ones - So that says a lot about this series for me that is.

In this book you are cordially invited to attend the wedding of the millenium. A wedding between the Norwegian God of Winter Ull and his soon to be bride/Godess Kristia. This event will actually take place at the end of the book, there are quite some things happening that will lead us to that event.

One particular scene I absolutely adored and thought was soooo funny was actually one between Kristia and Gunnar. All I can say about that is that it involves both of them and a police patrol stopping them on the way to a really special event ;-)

Another one was during Ull and Kristia's wedding night. I never in a million years thought that she was going to be the one to "..." fill in the blanks. ;-)

Oh my gosh! I feel giddy all over again whilst writing my review - I just love these books so much!

And I am hoping will give me a birthday present by publishing Tro on my birthday in August. Yes, people I know it is going to be a long wait but it'll all be worth it!

In the meanwhile you can give a shot at making Olaugh's famous waffles! :-D

A word from Ull: Jeg elsker deg alle damer! ;-)

***4.5 stars - ARC provided by the author in exchange for an honest review*** Sanne ~ Scandalous Book Blog

After you attended the wedding of the millenium you are now cordially invited to the honeymoon... Will they finally get their happily ever after or will the upcoming #RagnaRock destroy them?

Prepare yourself for the ride of a lifetime and get ready to rock! ;)

The honeymoon - Will the God of Winter finaly let loose and enjoy his new bride/godess? He is one greedy litlle bugger if he get's going... lol

But.... Kristia's visions are becoming clearer and will put an early stop to their happy little bubble.

--------- That's when #RagnaRock starts

How will they handle all of this, will there be casualities and will they get their happily ever after? Read and find out! ;)

Ohh my dear Gunnar such a funny guy and always comes to the rescue! :)He has got a little surprise for ya'll too.... Mwhuahahah ;)

Overall a beautiful ending to a beatiful story! Mange takk to ST Bende for letting us take part in this incredible journey! Jeg elsker deg and may you always have Tro!

PS: And I NEED that name!!!

I read each of these stories individually and wish I could have had the entire series at the same time. That way there would not have been any waiting in between each story. However, these stories were well worth the wait but why wait if you don't have to? Get this series now and get lost in the world of the Norse Gods. You will love it!

I am a Sherrilyn Kenyon readers. I have read everything she has written. That said I read these books in three days! The characters are fun and engaging. They have life and S.T. makes you miss them when you finish the books. I went so far as to sign up for her free work and news letter so I can keep up with new releases.

Overall a sweet and exciting series that links the norse gods with the human realm. Here are my reviews book by book...

Tur: A short, but vivid outside view into the Elsker saga. Having read all the Elsker saga books, which are narrated from Kristia's point of view, it was interesting to get a distinctly different perspective from Inga. This novella took less than an hour to read, with the help that the characters are already more or less developed in the other books. Nonetheless, in its few pages, S.T. Bende was able to bring Inga's personality--slightly more catty, fierce and lascivious than Kristia's--in the fight scenes with her boys, her stand-offs with Odin and her tangy romance with Gunnar. I enjoyed seeing the appearance of Kristia in Ull's life from the position of one of his best friends. Inga also gives a view into Asgard, showing the exciting daily lives and vicious politics of Ms Bende's Norse gods and goddesses. If you have read/are reading the Elsker saga, I recommend this book; it's quick read, and well worth seeing the Elsker world from another point of view. And if you haven't read the Elsker saga, this short, fun introduction to S.T. Bende's work will suck you in.

Elsker: Kristia is an awkward, small-town girl from Nehalem, Oregon. With encouragement from her sassy friend Ardis, she attempts her first adventure away from home: study abroad at Cardiff University in Wales, where no one knows about her crazy visions. What starts out being a big step for her soon turns into one of her typical stumbles at the unexpected romance with the hot, detached Norse, Ull Myhr. It is a surprise for both of them when she stumbles straight into his heart. The surprise for Kristia? Her mythology class isn't so mythical. And for Ull? He's surprised to find himself allowing (wanting) someone else in his complicated life. This first book in the Elsker Saga is a whirlwind introduction to Norse mythology, which I always enjoy, with little bits of Norwegian adding some authenticity to the tales. Although their interactions were sweet, I had a bit of a hard time accepting the rapid tumble the main characters take into each other's lives (instalove); it was a little jarring how quickly an awkward, small-town girl with no ambitions or expectations to meet any guy (let alone the local hunk who is actively hostile towards her at first) jumps into Ull's life. Besides this, the main characters are well-developed. Written from Kristia's point of view, it's quite easy to share her sudden, overwhelming emotions and to empathize with her decision-making struggles, whereas Ull retains a mysterious quality that intrigues. S.T. Bende writes with vivid, clear descriptions and a dramatic, fluid plot that alternates between very rapid and a bit slow but nonetheless kept me engaged throughout. But be warned! Have the second book ready, because with such a cliffhanger, you'll be wishing you had Kristia's visions to know what the fate of the couple and their worlds will be...

Endre: The second in the Elsker series seems to be more of a transition than a story in itself. A little slower than the first book, in Endre we follow Kristia as she acclimates her life with Ull, and all that being with a Norse god entails. Like the first, it is well-written with interesting characters and a beautiful new insight to Norse mythology. This book mainly focuses on the interactions between the couple--and those who try to hinder their being together--and their feelings for each other, with a few minor side-stories thrown in regarding Kristia's visions and her impending role as The Seer. But these seem to be more set-up and anticipation-building than action in their purpose here. That said, it's a quick read and I am really looking forward to seeing what excitement arises in Ull and Kristia's future together.

Tro: The conclusion to the Elsker series is almost the conclusion of the Norse gods and their realms as this final tale in Kristia and Ull's story weaves around Ragnarok. The action doesn't begin until about halfway through the book. The first half is a little slower, taking place on Kristia and Ull's honeymoon while Kristia acclamates to being The Seer and a new goddess, with all the new powers and strengths that contains. If you loved the swoon-worthy romance of the hotness that is Norse god of Winter, Ull Myrh, then this book--particularly the beginning--is for you. If, however, you're like me and love the heart-pounding twists and turns of a wall-thought-out action-rich plot, then you will enjoy the latter part of the book when Kristia and all her friends have to step up and fight the evil bringing about Ragnarok. Although a little predictable at times, the pace of the plot during the fighting was fast and the anticipation built. The imagery in these scenes which take place in various realms was well described by S.T. Bende and once again she gives a fascinating take on Norse mythology in the modern world. My only qualm was that the ending seemed a bit rushed and too 'perfectly planned,' wherein the last remaining dangling thread threatening the safety and well-being of Kristia, Ull and their loved ones was fixed my merely finding the right thing at exactly the right time. That said, I may be a little biased against any ending S.T. Bende would've done because I enjoyed this series and would read more about the promising, but also potentially dangerous future Ull and Kristia now face, having survived Ragnarok together. Overall, a good conclusion to a greater series.

The story was interesting for the most part. I wasn't convinced with Ull's personality. His dialog always felt like it didn't fit him. The relationship between the H/h felt too perfect so it wasn't very believable. Honestly Inca and Gunner stole the show for me. I loved everything about them and wish for more.
