Touch of Power (The Healer Series)

Just like the Poison series this book completely engulfs you into a new and fascinating world; making it nearly impossible to put down. It was a pleasure to read and I look forward to revisiting the adventure in the future.

I have been ennoying this series of books so much, I read in a couple of days; the story is very well reaten, my first requisite when reading any novel, and the plot is original and very captivating. I can't wait for the final one to be out to be able to complete the story.

Started with a lot of action and ended with a little romance. The main character, Avry is strong, independent and a survivor.

This is a wonderful book full of emotion, excitement, and intrigue. The healing of others and taking on their pain was such a wonderful concept. Interwoven with the story of healing is romance, conflict, and surprises around every corner. It was a very entertaining read.

An exciting, interesting read full of action and intensity. There's a lot of very average YA novels in this genre but thankfully this is certainly not one of the. Has touches of The Song of The Lioness Quartet (Tamora Pearce), Game of Thrones and Bitterblue (Kristin Cashore). Recommended!

I had read the other reviews and comments on this book and was a little touchy on whether or not to read it. However, for those out there that like to have the opinion of another reader before checking out a new read, please go ahead and snatch up this one. The story is very interesting, the characters are easy to love, and no matter what you are constantly urging the heroine to keep going.

I really liked this story but the writing was just not good. I had a hard time getting past the immaturity of Avry and her thoughts. Also felt hardly any connection between Avry and kerrick despite knowing that was what road we were traveling. Disappointing with potential.

Maria V. Snyder did it again! This wonderful story is fast paced and as unpredictable as the study series! One thing I love about her books is that everything that can go wong it will go wrong. Snyder knows her characters and keeps the audience captivated, happy, and wanting for the second book.

What a wonderful read! I loved Maria Snyder's Study and Glass Series, and couldn't wait for more books from her. I love the mix of romance, sci fi, and adventure in each of her novels, as well as the characters she creates. Snyder has not disappointed with her newest, and I can't wait to read the next one!

Picked this book out as something to pass the time while on a small road trip. This book gripped me from the very beginning and kept me interested. The book flowed well, the characters were likeable and the concept of the healer was interesting. Some parts of the storyline at the end got wrapped up a little too fast for my taste but I still enjoyed the book and its ending.
