This is a wonderfully written story that draws you in and is one of those books you just can't put down. The only thing I would change is to have a trigger warning at the front of the book because of the child abuse (especially by a police officer) theme throughout the story line.

I found this author through some mutual friends and I really enjoyed this book. Character development was fantastic. The boys definitely feel like a cohesive group, which I love. If you are on the search for a page turner this one is it. I finished the book in one day I was so hooked!

C.C. is a great author. Love the characters and the story line. Each character adds more to the story and you can't help but love the mc. Anne has been hurt but is still strong underneath. Can't wait to find out what happens next

I bought this series thinking I could read it slowly while adulting but no, I just couldn't put the books down! It got better and better with each book. I was craving a wolf shifter series and this certainly delivered. It's a paranormal romance reverse harem and it's slow burn so you can bet there will be a good number of books in the series.

Such a great book!! I love Anna's independence and motivation but also the way she longs for a family and "somewhere to belong". Each of the boys have different personalities and qualities, making them unique but the werewolf aspect and their backgrounds make their relationships realistic and I can start to see how Anna will fit in! I can't wait to see what C.C. Masters comes up with next and how the characters will develop!!

I liked it, I really did....even though that sounds like the commercial for life cereal in my head,I really did....
And while I’m perfectly fine with a “slow burn” type effect,I mean come on you don’t really want them jumping into bed to fast, true ....
You at least need to feel some chemistry, some heat.something holding between them and honestly ?
Nothing .... I feel NOTHING between Anna and these guys...
Not a dang thing.......
Anna is constantly blushing like a 18 year old virgin never been kissed and while you can see the twins are absolutely crazy about her, nothing at all happens ,no kisses nothing ...
Heck she’s barely even had a dirty thought about them and since we’re deprived of any and ALL of the men’s thoughts we’re left clueless trying to find something between her he lines, to get a feeling that this is more than just a young 20 something with a bunch of new male buddies....
Now I know Anna was abused and a child and most likely sexually at the and while she has problems being touched and it only makes sense she’d go slowly, she lacks a complete awareness of her appeal and while she’s becoming great buddies w/most of the guys Jason and Mason ( the poorly named twins) and Caleb( the cute techie guy) she’s spent little to know time with Cody,James or Austin and with out their pov’s its very frustrating to feel like this is a story that’s supposed to be leading towards and romantic entanglements at all...
Honestly while I love how nature the flow feels only half the guys have shown any interest AT ALL and it’s soo beyond G rated ( like I said barely even a dirty thought has passed) if you weren’t told this was a RH series you might nit know ...
I’d really wanna give a 3.5 for that,I’m definitely ok with slow but this almost feels aimless between the lack of guys POV)# soo we know what their thinking ? and the lack of any relationship building other than friendship ...
While I believe friendship is always the basis for any good/solid relationship, there should at least be some sexual chemistry or a kiss or the hint or start or something ...
All we’ve had soo far a tiny bit of handholding and that was mainly comforting and reassurance.....
Ps. Telling nit alone in wanting to smack the poop out her friend Kelsey and and tell Anna that not matter what that chick did for her in the past? She needs to stop being her dang doormat and smack Kelsey silly and then cut her loose...
I really enjoyed the story but seriously DID NOT feel like a romance, even a slow me ,at any point in the book....
