Descendants: Mal's Spell Book

My daughter loves the book. It includes the spells that are in the movie. However, it also includes Mal's and the other characters' notes along the margins. My daughter finds those notes unnecessary. I would have given the book five stars if it had been an exact replica of Maleficent's spell book in the movie (which is what we expected).

Looks amazing purchased for my little cousin and she absolutely loved it. Only negative is she got upset because the spells did not actually work( she's only 5). She now just pretend the spell work. Would recommend for anyone who has a family member who enjoys the movie.

My daughter really loved the book. It was funny, related to the movie, and was not as bad as some of the comments say. Yes, it did have some things that were leaning towards rude and mean, but it is a book people. You are your child's protector and they should listen to your rules. So, unless you have issues with that then the book should be of no influence on your child.

I purchased this for my Granddaughter - I read it before giving it to her and I have to say it is a terrific book for imaginative children.
If one couples it with the Disney movie 'Descendants" and the book 'Isle of the Lost' it makes for a very exciting time.

My daughter was so happy with the quality of this book, the cover feels almost like velvet. It was just like the book in the movie and was such a good read for my 10 year old. It goes up to 189 pages so it's pretty thick and kept her occupied a long time.
