The Lord God Made Them All (All Creatures Great and Small)

I love this book! I have practically all books by James Harriot and I enjoy reading them. It is so refreshing at these hard times. Its kindness, love of people and animals, humour help to lift spirit, feel relaxed and happy.

I love James Herriott books, and this one has nearly completed my collection. The book is terrific. Has moments when you hold your breath in anticipation of what is going to happen and times when you laugh out loud. Would recommend this book to everyone.

Best bedtime stories ever
I found the Herriot books in an airport shop and whiled away many otherwise tedious hours laughing out loud at his gentle humor and obvious affection for both the human and animal characters within.

This is a book every animal lover should read. It is part of a series written by the author James Herriot and I have read it twice. I lost my first set and re-ordered. It is a wonderful book and should be a "must read". It is clearly a classic.

Since first reading James Herriot I was drawn to the richly told, heart-warming stories. The characters he details almost seem to become real in the reading. I have enjoyed each of the books from this series.

If you like the James Herriot style of writing about first hand experiences with animals and animal oweners, you will love this book. I find his descriptions of people and animals very accurate and amusing. I am always transported in my mind to the situation or circumstance that Mr. Herriot is describing with complete clarity. This is a must have if you are an animal lover!
