Review:For once, I enjoyed the movie more than the book. The reason? The book is written in first person, from the dog's viewpoint. I found that approach doesn't work. Being narrated by the dog, the big challenge of painting the scene and carrying the narrative is left up to the literary skills of the animal. The problem is that the dog is still a dog with all of its limitations of English expression, and comprehension. So you have the dog using words like, "ignominy," "redolent," "excavated," express... Review:As a clever dog story and a quick read, this book is good. It is not great but I did not expect it to be. I liked main characters -the artist, the dog rescuer and the friend -so am pleased that I did buy it. Read more
Review:This book with be carried by my great- nephew who will be about 21 months old when he will be a ring bearer at my daughter's wedding in October. There will also be an older ring bearer who will actually carry the rings on a pillow. We were trying to figure out what little Mason could carry. This book is perfect and is quite appropriate because Mason is blond just like the little boy on the front cover of this book and will be wearing a black tuxedo. Read more

Review:I recently bought this for my niece as a birthday gift, she loved it.
The only thing I was upset about was when I received the package, on the cover of the book at the corner, it was ripped. I wish whom ever handled the book, would've handled it with a little more care. Read more
Review:My daughter is really into anime series and loves to try to draw characters, so I thought this was perfect. I was right, she loves it, takes it with her everywhere she goes and draws instead of playing on her smartphone. Pretty good deal to me! I don't draw in it but I do draw pencil sketches myself, and I have to say it's a really nice little instructional book with clear, concise examples that guide you through drawing your characters and making them look (anime) realistic. Definitely recommen... Read more
Review:I like her attitude. She's not a tyrant about getting rid of "stuff", but provides easily understood direction on how to approach minimizing. After reading only a couple chapters I attacked one closet and it's such a pleasure to open that door now. Amazing how obtaining a little space can be so satisfying. Read more

Review:I hardly ever write reviews about anything but felt I couldn't help but tell everyone about this book. It is amazing! I am a beginner when it comes to colouring only having used felt tip pens and having two colouring books before this one but after seeing some before and after pictures from this book I became intrigued and ordered it, even though the shipping cost more than my two original colouring books! (I'm in the UK). I bought some regular pencils and started my first picture in Beautifu... Read more
