Sharpe Shooter (Maycroft Mystery Series)

This story became a real page turner for me. Although I found the conspiracy theory a bit over the top, I was willing to suspend disbelief to follow the pleasantly twisted plot populated by likable and amusing protagonists.

Throughly enjoyed the book and the characters. The author made the story interesting and tied it to world events. She also managed to put her life experience into the story. Just a delightful and refreshing read.

I read this book after a friend recommended it and could not put it down. I thought the storyline was well thought out and presented in a very logical and intriguing manner. I liked the main characters in the book and the descriptions of how they went about their normal, everyday activities gave great insight into making them real and very "like-able". I was able to read it in a couple of days and thoroughly enjoyed it. Can't wait for the next book in the series.

As a native Texan, some above the "certain age" mentioned in Miz Thomas' biography notes, I can assure everyone that the characters, locales and general ambiance of this novel ring completely true. The quirky characters are that but not surreal while the normal adults are just that, normal and adult. A delightful read and I am looking forward to spending more time with my new friends in Maycroft, Texas.

Good fast read book with plenty of mystery and guessing who did it..enjoyed reading didn't want to put down ..I like mystery and liked how author mixed it up with history--- can't wait for the next book!

A slow-and-steady mystery story. In some parts, the action starts, but then is quickly snuffed out! There is an attempt at character development and I might read another book in the series, but only if it's free!

Enjoyable read and I'm thrilled someone wrote a cozy mystery where the women weren't eating constantly, it gets a little old. I really enjoyed her relationship with her brother and her husband. Will read more of her stories.
