According to the store 3 stars means its okay. I didn't dislike it but I also didn't like it. To be fair to the author it does exactly what the title says. In fact I would say having read multiple "how to write a business plan" type books. ***This book is in my opinion is the best.*** The book explains each section of a business plan and there are examples and exercises. Unfortunately for me it read more as a self-promotional pamphlet that I paid for. The book also kind of strays from the core of its subject matter when he speaks about revenue models. The examples were ideas for web-based content revenue streams which would not necessarily pertain to all business models. Its good information to know but it pulls the reader away from mastering the business plan. In the end this book was a great refresher course in writing a business plan. I actually am using it as a notebook to collect my thoughts and ideas. Its compact and light weight perfect for carrying on the subway.

This book take a non-assertive approach to help readers write a business plan. Its friendly and informal tone sets it apart from a lot of other resources. This is the first book I read on writing a business plan, but I have read other articles on the web. The focus of other resources I have come across, is to guide you to just get the job done, because some one else has asked you to. More often than not that is the case.
But this book, explains why you should write a business plan, using a pyramid, which helps to organize your thoughts better. Once you know what you are doing, do consult other resources.
If you are looking for only a strict and assertive business template, this book is not you.

This book had some very insightful information that makes it a good resources for a small business owner to add to their library. I would have given it 5 stars if had included some actual templates or visual examples of at least one complete business plan.

Garbage book. Just a lot of basic information that you could find on google. There are a bunch of spelling mistakes and a lack of examples wich are, in my opinion, more important than explaining how to make each section of the business plan. On top of this the writer wastes a lot of the book space where you could be learning on trying to get you to write him a good review, download his apps, or buy his other products. Imagine a book with ads flooded throughout. That's what you get with this book.
Most of these reviews are biased and bought. He offers a free 15 minute skype mentoring call if you give him a good review. He also tries to sell you more crap during this free call.
I would buy a better book and avoid this one. It may be a quick read and it may be cheap, but it's garbage.
Update: As I read through even more, I realized that his example of his apps he also markets that he used to demonstrate a business plan throughout the book are a terrible example. It allows him to say, "This part of the business plan isn't necessary because I didn't hire anyone." Or "This part of the business plan isn't necessary because I used ficticious financial info in the other sections, rendering an appendix usesless to me." Yeah? Well it sure as hell would have been useful to me!! How am I suppose to learn how to make an appendix if you don't show me one? You barely describe what it is! What a total rip off! I want my money back.

This book is a must have for aspiring entrepreneurs! I had so many ideas floating in my head that I couldn't quite put on paper, but his book gave me the blueprint to organize my thoughts. It helped me so much that I gave it to one of my co-workers to read and she has no complaints. Don't hesitate it's a worthwhile investment for any business owner.

The book is short and very straightforward. It's important to write clean business plans if you want to secure any kind of funding, at the same time you don't want to read two hundred pages to be able to write a small business plan. This book helps in this regard
Love the added value at the end. Thanks

Alex gives you his personal email (in the book); if you have questions/ideas, you should definitely email him as he WILL respond. This isn’t my first business plan, but I wanted a new outlook on writing one & I got that with this book. You should give it a try!

Using this book, I read and created the framework of my business plan in a day. Of course, I will still need to tweak my business plan and refine the financials. This book gives you building blocks to write the plan and by the end, you have a business plan. Great book....

This is EXACTLY what I needed to get comfortable with the idea of putting my business dreams onto paper and then actually effectively communicate my ideas to others. The ideas were swirling about in my mind and I couldn't figure out how to express them - until this book appeared. Ridiculously easy read with no BS as filler.
Thank you Alex!!!

Dear Mr. Genadinik,
I was browsing business plan products, and came across yours. As is my way, when considering a product, the first thing I do is check out the negative reviews prior to the positives. I do this to learn if what people dislike are things I can tolerate, etc. Yes, I was significantly distracted by every negative reviewer complaining about the "self-congratulatory" or "self-promotion" that they felt ran throughout the book...but, as is my way, before making any decisions, I usually check out the positive reviewers as well, to see if they have a different experience with the same issue the negative reviewers expressed... but, not this time.
This time I did not bother giving this product my usual "fair" review of the "reviews" because the author chose to intervene with the reviewers. Sir, it was not the negative reviews that turned me away from considering your product, it was YOU. The way you chastised the individuals who were kind enough to spend their time to write about their experience with your product. It was your accusatory tone, it was you snarky attitude. It was your self-promotional and self-congratulatory "defense" of your readers' experiences.
I am NOT a private business owner, and I don't have a single clue about how to write a "Business Plan", but I can <ahem> "advise" you, that if you do not plan to offer a remedy for your customers' negative experience with your product, then the "proper business etiquette" model would be... "Less is More." Or, as we all learned growing up... "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all."
-And I'm not "charging" you anything for this "Business Advice"-
