Freaking feel in love with Sed! This was my first book by Olivia Cunning and I had to try it based on the reviews. The book grabs you in the first pages and you just know this guy is all male.

What can I say that wasn't already said....I will definetely be reading more by OC.

I havent disliked a character like I dislike Jessica in a really long time. She was the most wishy/washy woman I've ever met. Oh and dumb. She is really really dumb. She breaks up with Sed because he doesn't want her to go to law school. Good for her! But then she ends up back in his orbit and decides she's going to be a nurse. -For about 5 minutes. Then she goes back to wanting to be a lawyer. I wanted to throw my e reader at the wall. I also didn't buy that these two loved each other. Wanted each other, yes. They had so much sex, I found myself just skipping over it after the first quarter of the book. Who can do it that many times a day? They made me feel like a prude and I am not in the least bit prudish. She also does something that I found so disgusting at the beginning that I think it kinda ruined the book for me. She is just not a very intelligent person and I couldn't muster even the tiniest bit of respect for her.

I do think it deserves the one star because I actually enjoyed the interactions with the other band members. These guys are a family with all the dysfunction and humor that goes along with being part of a family. They are fun to read. Jessica? Not so much.

I really enjoy the world Olivia Cunning has created with her two series. I can't even imagine the insanity! Her characters are fun, flawed, and sexy as hell. I'd love to be a fly on the wall of the Sinners' bus!

These are some rock star i would not mind spending some nights with! However i can totally understand how lots of insecurities would arise. In this series we meet Sid and Jeasica who were once engaged but now estranged until the unexpected happens. I so did not like Sid's behavior in the beginning but by the end of the book he was one of my favorites.

Just a couple of days ago I read "Backstage Pass" and fell in love with the story, the characters, the humour and yes, the sex scenes. Well, "Rock Hard" is a really good second story on the group "Sinners" (the band we get to groupy around). Actually I've enjoyed it even more, because the more you know the more you love, plus, I've laughed so hard at so many times that it just keeps adding up.
It is a really hot story telling but it doesn't keep you paining over "when are they gonna finally meet", "now they are mad at each other and they won't meet again until the end of the book"... I mean, there is a story, there is meat to be chewed and it is not some chase to the end of the book. Things happen all the time but you still have time to enjoy the good moments.
I totally recommend it.

The rock-n-roll lifestyle...tour bus orgies, fanatical groupies willing to do anything to please, big egos, sexy and possessive men who like to experiment and get it on non-stop and lots of hot bandmates, Rock Hard has it all. I loved the book from beginning to end and I am so glad I took the chance on it after not being thrilled with the first book in the series. The whole rock and roll theme is so appealing, I love to imagine how they exist on the wild side. Olivia Cunning portrayed it beautifully and I think realistically in my mind.

What drew me in to this story were the characters, Sed and Jessica. Their personalities were explosive especially around each other. When they fought they were ruthless to each other and they loved violently too. The first 3 pages hooked me! ***SPOILER*** Sed and Jess were poor and struggling and madly in love with each other, but young in handling a relationship. When Jess finally sees her dreams coming true as she is accepted to law school, Sed can't live without her and denies letting her go. Jess will have none of his caveman attitude and throws his engagement ring at him and leaves. His ego won't let him chase her and her pride won't let her return to him. Page 4 fast forwards 2 years, both still miserable without each other. She becomes a stripper to pay for school funds and he becomes a huge success with the Sinners always with 2 or 3 girls willingly giving and fulfilling his huge sexual appetite. When Jess and Sed encounter each other at her strip joint- she is performing for Brian's bachelor party (book 1 hero) Sed flips out causing a big ruckus. There was a very funny scene when Jess goes badass all over 3 girls that are with Sed in his bedroom, he knows she is out there listening so he gets a little revenge inciting her jealousy, it was awesome. The fireworks continue and Sed's caveman tendencies regarding Jess resurface; so does the sexual chemistry. There were definitely some very creative sexual positions, I think one time she was hanging upside down and water parks aren't just for kids anymore... let's just say it was very inventive and satisfying.

Even though the sex was hot and there was a lot of it, I didn't feel it was overkill as in some erotica I have read lately. The author does a very good job of giving erotic details in the beginning when it is new and exciting and then tapering the length and details later in the book where it sometimes gets monotonous. Even though it was the wild party life of touring there were many issues and conflicts to overcome in the story; addiction, sexual harassment, medical issues, as well as, foreshadowing of possible secrets that will be uncovered in future books. The ending was fabulous too! I won't give any hints except to say it warmed my heart, made me smile, it was very thoughtful and satisfying.

Wow, so I thought Back Stage Pass was awesome. And really...I didn't know if this could bet that much better. I mean, I was hoping for as good. But MAN, OH MAN. It was awesome. I loved it...really good character development. When do we get the next one? And do I dare hope that Exodus End is getting worked in so that when we are done with the Sinners the next books spin off into the members of Exodus End??? PLEASE OLIVIA?? I promise I'll behave better in the book club! Okay, not really.
