Mine (A Dark Erotic Romance Novel)

Whoa. A mystery, a thriller, a love story. Oh my! The story of Rien and Sara was certainly different from anything I have ever read. I had to find what would happen to Sara. Talk about being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Or is the right place? Compelling story. I hope Aubrey writes more.

Dark, erotic and gruesome. If anyone every told me I would enjoy a book with this subject matter, I would probably laugh at them. However, I've read just as most gore in a Stephen King novel. I can't wait to read the first book His. I've read the series His Gift/His Ransom. The only book Ms. Dark's I haven't read is His. Can't wait to download

This is a tale of two sick twisted people. Morbid curiosity perhaps on my part. Rien is a sadist sociopath who justifies his actions as deserved. He is honorable in his own mind. Sara is caught up in this mess. The story is well told.

Wow, the author developed really interesting characters, mixed a little murder and kidnapping. The characters drove the story steadily forward to a twisted conclusion that I didn't see coming.

If you enjoy dark themes that have a real plot and interesting characters, you should read this book.

Aubrey Dark is a master of her trade. Her stories grip you, holding you in place to devour her words. The story is dark but there is so much hope and longing. A must read...my heart is still pounding from the excitement and the climax of the story.

I enjoyed this read and the characters. I read the authors other book His and thought I would give this one a try however His I loved but Mine seemed like a repeat on certain things so it was a little disappointing but still a good read. The characters was strong it was just the story that seemed to familiar. I recommend this read for adults only.

Ms. Aubrey's killers are completely sure of their place in life and why they need to kill. The assassins know their own demons and the balm that eases their tortured minds. Aubrey Dark did it again. Rien and Sara characters was amazingly well put. If you loved "His" you will definitely love "Mine." Again Aubrey stories are different but in a very good way, i can not wait for her next book.

Great book. I enjoyed "His" and decided to read the next book. It is not a continuation of "His" but it does reference a character from the book. Both of the characters Rien and Sara were well developed.

I loved the characters, underlying themes & the sex scenes more than the first book "His". I could not put it down! It is rare to enjoy a sequel more. I look very forward to more work from this author.

This was just okay for me. I found myself wanting more than we got at the end. I wanted to see what she decided to do with her life if she was going to start helping him or if he would quit since he had her now. Just okay for me.

It's hard to explain why her books are incredible. She gets to a raw emotion in each story she tells and this book was no exception. Reading a review will do the story line no justice. You must experience it for yourself

This book was fantastic! I am dead serious when I say I started this book and DID NOT put it down until I finished it. It was THAT amazing. The First book HIS was my first Dark romance book and I loved it. It’s definitely a different experience reading about someone who’s been taken against their will and eventually falls in love with their captor. Definitely some serious Stockholm syndrome going on , but this author brings such an erotic feel to it. I don’t know how she does it. I was just captivated by these two characters and I LOVED how the point of view changed so you got to really felt what Rien and Sara between them. The chemistry is electric! Rien is such a tortured soul and Sara takes his mask off while finding the courage to remove her own. This book had twists and turns I never saw coming. An on the edge of your seat book!
