Possession (Fallen Angels)

This is another series that I totally love by this author. The fate of the world depends on a small group of people and angels and each book is a chess game between good and evil, winner of (4 of 7 ? or something) takes all. FAB!!!

I read the prior Fallen Angels books and found this one had plot twists but it wasn't as good as the others. Hence the four stars vs five. Still a fan. Also a fan of the Black Dagger Brotherhood books.

I love how the romance and suspense all falls together . I love the angels, but still curious to learn about the halos . I am so waiting for Eddie to appear....keep going loving every minute of the reading

The newest novel in the Fallen Angels story is the best of the series. Ward still has plenty of sexual excitement but in addition, there is pathos and drama in this engrossing novel. Paranormals are too often thrown out in paper cutting style, but the writing and characterization in this novel reminds me of why I fell in love with this author years ago with the first book in the Black Dagger series.

This book costs more than this series once cost. I assume that is because it has gone to hard back, though why a Kindle edition should cost what a hard back book costs, I can never understand. However, this one is excellent and I don't begrudge the cost.

I really love her books. But could never imagine she could make her main character to look so stupid and just all together lacking. The others just lacked behind at this point. Very slow read. Had to force myself read..knowing that there are more books coming and I am already invested in the series (loved all the books prior to that). So sad to see this happen. p.s hot scenes are still hot, but not enough to carry the whole story.

I have loved the previous books, but Possession seemed like she rushed to get it finished and the story lines didn't get to develop completely. Then the ending was just flat, not her usual writing. Hope that she takes more time with the next book in the series. These books have been too good to end with just okay writing, not her normal style.

The 5th installment of the Fallen Angels series was as usual well written and kept me glued. My only complaint is so much was left unsaid, so much unknown still, and I cannot wait the final Book!!!!

Others have said this story is predictable and I completely disagree...many turns and twists...and the end left me wanting more!

J.R. Ward never disappoints. I wait anxiously for each new release and am always sad when they are complete. I love the way she integrates B.D.B. characters into this series. Her characters are complex and intense and are always a must read! Please keep them coming!!!!

Love this series! Even though there's always a soul at stake who I'm supposed to care about, I don't. I really only care about Adrian, Eddie, and Jim. I can't seem to fall in love with the souls, but I do really like the angels who are helping them.

Wow! Duke is my favorite character! The scenes with him and Cait are so hot! But I am kinda tired of Jim not figuring out who the souls are in time. I think maybe Sissy is about to become a permanent character.
