A Sniper Novel (Kyle Swanson Sniper Novels) - Time to Kill

The authors foresaw the Egyptian political strife long before it actually happened. Their knowledge of the tumultuous Middle East is evident in their story. Davis and Coughlin should work for the U.S. government. Perhaps if they were able to give our politicians some insight as to what might happen, we would be able to diffuse Mid East tensions long before they happen.

Jack Coughlin has put out another action packed book. The hero is once again Kyle Swanson the former Marine sniper who is now a member of Task Force
Trident. The story begins with a CPA being assassinated He is auditing an account for the Palm company.This company is located in Egypt. During his auditing procedure he discovers that Iran is embezzeling money. For finding this out the accountant is killed by an Iranian hit man. This situation lands
in the lap of the United States government. Task Force Trident assigns Kyle Swanson to go to Egypt. He is joined there by Dr. Tianha Bialy. Dr. Bialy has been recieving intelligence from a source called Pharoah. Pharoah is actually Colonel Yahya Ali Naqdi. He is feeding information to M16. This information is
actually false. Iran,claiming to have a United Nations mandate starts the procedure of invading Southern Egypt. Colonel Naqdi wants to post a strong Muslim presence on the border of Israel and gain control of the Suez Canal. At first everything goes smoothly. Then Kyle Swanson springs into action. He first
explodes the Iranian ammunition at the airport. This results in causing a plane crash. He next sinks an Iranian supply ship. He and his m16 partner manage
to capture an Iranian general and fly him to Saudi Arabia. The Iranians have ordered public executions of leading Egyptians. Swanson manages to disrupt the executions. Swanson manages to give the Iranians many problems. This is a very good book. Be sure to read it.

Perhaps a brief look at the Washington DC metro map would have helped. The "hero" arrives via executive jet at Andrews AFB in Maryland, is met and then drives away from his plane at Dulles Airport - 45 miles west of Andrews AFB!
Glaring error in the first few pages. I'm glad this is a library book and not a "bought" book or I would be asking for my money back.

As usual this book was very well written and Kyle Swanson was the hero of the day. I would have put it at 5 stars but it was just a little too far fetched to completely believe. This guy has nine lives and seems to have never ending good luck. Thanks for another great read and I look forward to the next one.

Another incredible read. Kudos to the brilliant authors who shared their knowledge and insight to create a fictional yet all too real account of what I believe goes on behind the scenes. I have the utmost respect and gratitude for the military personnel who choose to dedicate themselves to serve our country but I have to say, the Special Ops have my undying support and love. Thank you for your service.

Time to Kill completely works as a straightforward shoot all the bad guys techno-thriller. Sometimes you want a lot of complexity and sometimes you want sniper like focus. Time to Kill delivers focus. This is a fun, disconnect your brain and watch all the bad guys die kind of book. Well done.
