Reading Ozzy's autobiography is like hanging out at his house and listening to him talk. It's funny, crazy, and at times a little shocking - which is exactly what you'd expect Ozzy's life to be. He tells it like it is; no secrets and no flowery language. Whatever you might think of the man, you certainly can't say that his book is dull. And the photos included are great!

Ozzy is a mad man....very entertaining book and shows you his career from the humble beginnings to his peak. Anybody else who did all the drugs and booze he did would be dead! Worth the read for anybody who is an Ozzy fan.

Loved this book, let's you connect and understand on all the basic emotional levels as you go through life in the writer's point of view and full of stories that had me laughing out loud while reading. Entertaining but really heart felt and some great life lessons to close out with!

Excellent read with lots of interesting anecdotes. Writing is clear and direct. Ozzy seems to be a balanced judge of himself and doesn't white wash too much. I think the alcohol and drug addiction is over emphasised but I suppose it was integral to the events so can't fault it. Highly recommend it, regardless of whether you are a fan of his music.

One of God's unique characters. He's entertainment personified. Funny and entertaining even when he's not trying to be. Easy read for broad minded people with lots of swearing and crude stories that you find yourself laughing at because, what else can you do.

I bought this for my boyfriend for his birthday and he absolutely loves it! He's a die hard Ozzy fan and said he couldn't stop laughing while reading this book... he also said it's filled with fun facts that he didn't know about before. If you're an Ozzy or Black Sabbath fan... it's a must read!

Real good book.Very informative, serious, yet humorous look into the life of a living legend. From his early life, to the formation of Sabbath, to current day Ozzy doesnt hold back and tells so much of his life story. It really leaves you wanting more. Ozzy is an amazing storyteller and definitely does not let his readers down. Awesome. Full of laughs and TRUE stories about many myths of his career.

Funny as hell. I catch myself laughing out loud at his stories. I also like that he dedicated the book to Randy Rhoads. Everytime he comes here to Knoxville, TN(which is the last place Randy played) he always dedicates a song to him. Last time he dedicated Flying High Again to him because he said that was the song he had the most fun playing with Randy onstage. Awesome book............enjoy!

I bought the CD over the book specifically because Frank Skinner was reading. For those of you who know of Frank Skinner he is a comedian from the same region and hence accent of Ozzy. He aces it. You could almost be listening to the great man himself. Five stars for Frank, but only four for the book (on CD), far too short.

I was reading an interview with Pete Townshend and he said Ozzy's bio was his favorite of the bunch. I can see why.
Unlike a lot of these books that come out slowly, Ozzy comes out firing and wild and stays that way. I enjoyed it.

A no-holds barred telling of events and the turns of life in the best that his memory can give. And a testament to never giving up and that good things can come to you. And testament to a good love that has lasted through the best and the worst. I think anyone and everyone should read this book. Whether you are fan of the music, or not. Simply to read of the life that has been led is an education and of value to everyone.

And blessings to the Osbournes.

I never knew who Ozzy Osbourne was until I watched The Osbourne's on TV....and wondered who that ***hole was. Saw his book advertised and read the reviews, it was available on Kindle and I said what the heck......Well I love this book. It is a great read and I am totally enjoying it. The surprise....his awesome sense of humor and his love for his children.

Yes, I found this book impossible to put down. I loved it, and think Ozzy is an insane idiot after reading it. But, I would love to have dinner with he and his wife now, and I never would have thought that before.

Firstly this is not going to win any Pullitzer Prizes for Literature. It's not meant to either. It's just the memoirs of a loveable rogue who is who he is, has never pretended to be anything else and people love him for it. I was never a big Sabbath fan, or a fan of Ozzy's solo stuff per se, but he is a fascinating figure. How can you not be intrigued by a guy that, by all rights, should be taking the long dirt nap, but has somehow managed to survive and thrive despite himself?

Ozzy is that most singular of creatures. A true survivor. Not someone who walks around bragging about it, but a person who knows what he is, what's he's done (when his memory allows!), and the fact he's blessed to have a family that loves him as much as he loves them.

This book takes in his early life in the Aston area of Birmingham, through the early Sabbath successes and the personal devastation he felt when the band fired him. It goes through the Randy Rhodes era and, the bat, the dove, etc etc.

At parts rib-bustingly funny, insightful and melancholy, "I Am Ozzy" is as good a autobiography as I've ever had the pleasure to read. Buy it.

I enjoyed this book more than I first expected too. I believed it would be very edited and kind of dry. Not so! I was laughing so hard at some of the things we probably shouldn't be laughing at, but it seems Ozzy laughs right along with you. The man has lead quite a life and its a refreshing change to see that someone has lived through an awful lot and lived to tell. I will always love Heavy Metal!

This a great book for anyone interested in Ozzy, Black Sabbath or even just hard rock of the time.
It was interesting to read Ozzy's versions of events that we have all heard of. After reading the book, I like Ozzy even more than I did. A really good read.

There's nothing like finding out more about the master behind that smile that Ozzy has. This book shares a lot about Ozzy Osbourne. I recommend it to every fan.

Do not read this book in public! Spontaneous outbursts of laughter are unavoidable. I didn't want this book to end as it was so eminently readable. There's no beating-about-the-bush with Ozzy. He tells it like it was with gritty realism and non-judgemental facts. The most enjoyable book I've read in years! Read it now.

Super entertaining and intriguing to read about Ozzy's life! I always wonder how people can remember the level of detail that they do when writing autobiographies, and with the lives they've lived, but Ozzy did a great job at it!
