A pretty simple storyline but I really liked it! Liked the Hero and the heroine and loved them together! So very cute.

Some might say it's too insta-love and that the Hero, Devlin, may come across as a little stalker-razzi-ish at the beginning but I see it differently. Maybe more like a blossoming love? He didn't officially approach the heroine, Kaylie, until she graduated from high school. That's when things got good. The official relationship then started and Dev was quite the gentleman, just like he had been the past couple of years. (And you can't help but swoon a little when you find out why he first noticed her in the first place, two years ago.)

Dev treated Kaylie with the utmost respect, was protective of her, liked her a lot and soon followed with feelings of love for her.

"I know what I want and I go after it. I don't lie and I don't cheat. I'll take care of you if you let me Kaylie."

Yea, I was kind of crushin' on Dev myself right then and there.

Kaylie sort of just went with the flow, which I found refreshing. Since she was familiar with him and was attracted to him, it made the acceleration of their relationship easier to accept. She was so darn sweet to boot!

I thought it was cool that the club was already used to her and I loved how the vast majority of the members and their families welcomed her with open arms.

What would I have changed about this book? I just wanted to hear the I Love You and wished that it was longer! On to book two in the series, Still Waters!!

Quick read with 30 short chapters. Devlin ‘Devil ‘ fell for Kaylie when she was 15 but before that his baby brother bragged about the angel who gave home extra scoop of ice cream, then tragically he lost his brother and mom in a car accident but hits his baby brother that brought them together. But for years he called her his ‘old lady’ and had protectors around her at all times and warn all the guys in her school that she was off limits and so he waited for 2 years until she was 18 and graduated from high school before he ‘courted’ her as a promise to her mom and himself. Unfortunately this part is unavoidable—- he might be wanted her but he wasn’t a monk in the waiting time but thankfully he didn’t bed a lot of club hang arounds only when he needed the tension relief, still he somewhat did cheat but didn’t. As for the climax of the story, it lacked, it was cops cam to arrest under false accusations, jail and worried if Kaylie will still want Dev when he gets out and the creepy cops.

The book is good. The characters are ones you could probably really get into if the book was as long as it says it is. It's actually a very short book with a bunch of first chapters of other books at the end. Bought 1 and 2 at the same time. Will not buy 3. I really hate when they lie about the number of pages and make you think it's a full size novel. Very disappointed

Both stories were very good, but certainly too short. The stories had hot, steamy romance and even hotter alpha males, however, I would love to have read more. Both stories left me aching for the details of where each story went. The conclusions were rushed and incomplete, but having said that, I still enjoyed the author's writing style. The stories are worth reading, Byrne certain to inform the author of your desire for a more detailed conclusion. Joanna, take this review with the positive spin and as the compliment it is intended to be.

Truly enjoyed this book. Great premise of the hero waiting till the heroine was of age despite being a devil, the story never missed beat. The only complaint it was to short. I will be checking out the books that were in her preview. Hoping to enjoy those as much as I did this one. Good job Joanna.

I was really disappointed in this book. I was expecting the book to be longer. I do not like purchasing a book with 200 and some pages and then the story just ends and you have a bonus book at the end. I did not like the way the story just ends. Its slow and then it's rushed and it's over. The second book in the series is the same way! IT JUST ENDS!!! Very upset

I loved this story! Couldn't stop reading....just had to finish it. Liked Kaylie's innocence and Devlin's brawn! Also enjoyed how even though he was a hot hard biker, he was good and gentle with Kaylie for her first time. Was a truly great read! Thanks!
