This book is light reading. It is funny and totally unbelievable (but hey what do I know about a family of hired killers).
Each chapter is funny, throw in a bit of romance and just plain silly-ness.The author is clearly a funny person and keeps you interested until the next chapter. I am hooked on these books now and can't wait to read the next. Just sit back - read it and enjoy.

Yes, you'll need tissues because you are going to laugh until you cry, and then you'll drool, and laugh some more. This is the perfect read after a long day at work, you may even considering a career change after finding out about the wages assassins get to stash away. And the travels, did i mention they travel by private plane?Hurry up now, get your copy while I see what's up with the next one.

I LOL so many times my husband even commented! An awesome and light read. I have become so touching about death since having kids and the thought of anything bad happening to them freaks me out. I was a little concerned about the subject matter and if I could handle it. It was written so well that it literally put a funny spin on hit men. Worth the read!
What Kills Me :: The gripping psychological thriller with a shocking twist (Tom Douglas Thrillers Book 6) :: A Novel of Suspense (Lucy Kincaid) - Kiss Me - Kill Me :: Surviving a surgical internship...even if the patients don't :: The Uncensored Oral History of Punk - Please Kill Me

I put off reading this because I thought the premise sounded silly (got the book for free). I finally sat down to read it and read it in one day. It turned out to be funny, and fast paced. I actually liked this family (for the most part, lol). Anyway, sorry I waited so long to read it.

Excellent, wonderful, excellent. I loved this book. I originally downloaded it for free because of the name, thought it was cute. It ended up being a book I couldn't put down. It was fantastic!

The entire series is worth downloading, After reading this one I went straight out and purchased the other books in the series.

The premise is that Ginny Bombay is a normal widow, with a 5 years old daughter who just happens to be an assassin. That is just for starters. She comes from a family of assassins (killing only bad guys you know) and now it is time for her daughter to be initiated into the family business. It was an easy read and fun if you like weird fun.

If you enjoy suspending your disbelief and appreciating good humor you'll love this book as much as I did!

I read a lot, and enjoy all genres and, now and then, I just love to laugh my way through a good story!

This is one of those!

I loved the quirky, zany characters and the whole story line!

Hopefully Langtry can inspire me to explain to my HubbaHubby why I didn't' t make it to bed until the wee hours.

I could not put this one down! I chuckled my way through murders, betrayal, family business, romance.... It covers most bases. Fascinating characters keep you mesmerized. Every page will entertain!

Who ever thought to create a family of assassins. What an interesting read. I know it is described as a "romantic" mystery, but I could do without the sexual details. The characters were well developed, the humor was nice, and I'd read more by this author and about the Bombay family (future books).

Crazy, quirky, little book. You will laugh until you cry. Very original, and there aren't many new ideas anymore. I usually don't give many book reviews because the way a person reacts to any book is based on their personal taste. But having said that, I think you need to get this book.

These books are not the greatest works but they are definitely fun to read when you just want a break from life. This book, (the first) was by far my favorite. Gin is a very dynamic snappy character. And you can't help but love her, Dakota, liv, and all the other characters you come into contact with. Once you've read the first book some of it gets repetitive in the next ones simply because the author re-explains some of family history. But I love the Bombays.

Funny, quirky, ever so slightly bizarre but definitely worth the read. Well paced and nicely developed characters (provided you suspend belief most of the time) I found this endearing despite being well outside my comfort zone of my usual "go to" murder mysteries. It's different - very different - but it works and, although I found myself shaking my head at the plot a lot, it was with a smile on my face. This one's difficult to categorize, but there's nothing wrong with that. It was fun.

I enjoyed the easy, conversational style of the book and it was definitely a quick read. Couldn't put it down as I was totally wrapped up in how it would all turn out. I'm very anxious to see how she can do a sequel - I'll be looking the next book up very soon.

This book by Langtry was a light, easy reading, fun book to read. The premise is certainly different from most and I am happy to have made the aquaintance of the author and her characters.

I really liked this book. Kinda crazy family "business"... Reminded me a bit of the "Spellman Series" by Lisa Lutz. Family members always looking over their shoulders. Likeable characters. Thankfully, I could pass this kindle version onto a friend.

This book was laugh out loud funny. Loved the main characters! Never thought I' d be reading a romance about an assassin and it would have a happy ending. The writing was very well done and while yes the plot is a stretch of the imagination, it works. Look forward to reading the next in the series!

I really enjoyed this book. Downloaded it last year, but I haven't done much reading lately. Page turner, funny and an all around good read. Recommended it to my co-worker who finished it before me, but we both enjoyed it.

The book had an absurd premise but it still works well. The whole concept of balancing single motherhood, dating, and an intense family business plays together in a truly entertaining ride. I really cared about all the characters and wanted them to all have a happy ending.

What a dynasty...every one of them a professional killer! Kind of reminds me of my in-laws...not really. Hey guys, I was just kidding! Aw, come on, guys! Where is your sense of humor? Does the store sell a book about how to disappear, really disappear?

The Bombay's have a unique family business that all blood members are involved in-assassination! This is the story of Gin Bombay, a single mother, who kills on the side. It is hilarious, and such a fun read. Do yourself a favor and read this book.
