For anyone who values constitutional democracy, The Bilderberg Group, while largely anechdotal, tells a well researched, believable but most disturbing story.
It certainly offers an explanation for so many of our 'leaders' - political, academic, professional, financial and commercial - often providing we 'prols' with the same sort of really dumb 'pearl of wisdom' at a similar time. A good example is the promotion of the Anthropogenic Global Warming scam with its undeclared Orwellian social and economic implications.

I was surprised that he never mentioned the Rothchilds in this book. They have been the seat of power in England for many years. And the one world government may have run for it's money when the Chinese get fully up to speed. That civilization has been around for 7 thousand years and they don't need the West.

Packed with chapter and verse supporting author's painstaking research into key power folks behind world governments. Truth is well beyond what he can prove but this gets your attention and rings true. Prepare for a paradygm shift in your thinking.

The Real Story of the Bilderberg Group brings the history of the past century into focus. To know who is involved in the development of a one nation world, and to understand what they have done and are doing to achieve their objective is very amazing and frightening. Will it happen in my lifetime? Probably not. But I fear for future generations.

Everyone should read this book. It tells everything that I had heard roomers about and read bits and pieces about for years and in this book it documents everything that every person on this earth should know about. Everyone on this planet is controlled by these people.

If you have any question about who's really running the world, this book and "The Creature of Jeykll Island" answers who the players are and what motives are involved. It has nothing to do with individuals, human rights, all for one, one for all, the Constitution of the US, patriotism, that's just a bunch of crap created to entertain and enslave the masses. Did I personally like getting this knowledge, no, because it's counter everything we are entrained to believe, but knowing and looking at people and events through this lens explains a lot of historical gaps that have gotten glossed over. Conspiracy theory... you bet, and we are willing participants.

The kings whom he (Sesoosis) had allowed to continue their rule over the peoples which he had subdued and all others who had received from him the most important positions of command would present themselves in Egypt at specified times, bringing him gifts, and the king would welcome them and in all other matters show them honour and special preferment; but whoenever he intended to visit a temple or city he would remove the horses from his four-horse chariot and in their place yoke the kings and other potentates, taking them four at a time, in this way showing to all men, as he thought, that, having conquered the mightiest of other kings and those most renowned for their excellence, he now had no one who could compete with him for the prize of excellence. I have heard a lot about the Bilderberg Group. It contols politics and our lives in many ways. They try to be secretive, but fortunately information has been garnered by certain brave individuals. A must read if you care about the present and future of politics and of our individual rights.

This review is on the 2nd or North American Union Edition of March, 2009. The additions since the first edition bring the Bilderberg meetings up through June, 2008, and author Estulin has added information on Obama's appointments into February, 2009.
If the reader is new to the activities of the Bilderbergs, Council for Foreign Relations and the Trilateral Commission, this book is a "must" read. These organizations are relentlessly pursuing the creation of a New World Order, run by themselves. The common demoninator for these people is that they are wealthy, influential elites, mostly from Europe and the United States who wish to see a Supra-National Socialist World Government wherein national sovereignty is a thing of the past and nations are grouped into regional economic unions like the European Union. Public-Private Partnerships (PPPS) are the vehicle of choice for controlling economic activity, and the Bilderbergs see themselves on both the public and private sides. In the Western Hemisphere they are actively promoting a "North American Union" of the US, Canada (less Quebec) and Mexico. All this is well-documented by the author.
With respect to the recent economic crisis, a reader cannot fail to see the hand of Bilderberg Henry Paulson along with Bilderberg Timothy Geithner utilizing Bilderberg Chris Dodd and CFR Barney Frank to help bring about the economic crisis so that they could transfer billions of dollars to other Bilderbergers or their controlled financial institutions and begin building the PPPs so necessary to bring about their cherished goals. Author Estulin makes the point that the Obama Administration is controlled by Bilderbergs, CFR and Trilateral Commission members just like the Bush II Administration. Ahhh, the more things change, the more they stay the same.
The model for the North American Union is the EU, and it will be necessary to move the US into much more of a socialist state to bring it into line with Canada and Mexico. Obama has been and will be introducing legislation and policies to form PPPs and move the Federal Government into the private sector and move the US increasingly to Socialism. As the author notes, we may already be past the point of no return although this has not been noted by the public mostly due to the non-reporting of these activities by the media (even Fox News has a blackout on the Bilderbergs, the CFR & the TC.)
So why only three stars? Well, the writing is sometimes incoherent, and the author makes a number of statements of fact that are really pretty well founded speculation. He also apparently feels that being a Zionist is somehow meaningful for a New World Order type, and his sketches of the Obama appointees were obviously done in great haste.
In addition, the author should omit all the personal cloak and dagger stuff that may be important to him but really detracts from his general treatise. His work would be much more difficult to discredit -- if at all -- if he wouldn't make himself out to be a third-class James Bond saving the world. What is needed here is a scholarly treatment of the subject which certainly can be done from the vast amount of facts now in evidence. Every day the machinations of the Bilderbergs and their associates become more overt. Author Estulin needs to get past the idea that he is attempting to expose Hitler and his designs in 1934 -- it is now 1938 and Hitler has re-armed, re-occupied the Rhineland, announced the formation of the Luftwaffe and taken Austria into the Greater German Reich. Personal travels and difficulties in obtaining information may be interesting to some people, but they are not important -- what is happening, why, and where it is going is.
All that being said, this book should be on the shelf of every American, and readers should start hammering the media for their silence. Bill O'Reilly and Sean Hannity have never mentioned the Bilderbergs on their programs, and that should be a clear indication of the control of Fox by its owner Rupert Murdock, himself a Bilderberg.
If readers want to understand the need for Socialism to accomplish the Supra-National Socialist World Government, read F. A. Hayek's "The Road To Serfdom." Other important works include Ivan Eland's "The Empire Has No Clothes" which describes why the US has continued to expand its empire (and size of the Federal Government and its bureaucracy) even after the fall of the Soviet Union and how this is extremely counter-productive to US security and personal liberty. The US's current foreign policy will hasten its demise, create the ultimate crisis requiring the Bilderberg agenda to restore a modicum of prosperity and remake the world to the Bilderberg design. Like I said, it is really very late in the game.
Just a question for the reader: If the US Federal Government subordinates its sovereignty to a Supra-National governing body (like Carter did when he put the US National Park System under the UN) as Obama seems currently intent on doing, can the people revolt without committing treason since the government they are rebelling against is no longer the one established by the US Constitution? Food for thought, indeed.
This book is highly recommended, but please work past its many flaws.

This book has important information the author worked hard to uncover. For that reason I give it a 3 instead of 1 star. Why I considered giving it a 1 star is because it contains sentences such as "wiggly bottom teenager in school outfit sucking noisily on a milkshake" - worthless trash that adds nothing to the content of the book. I urge the writer to omit the unneccesary and tasteless.

Good book, writing could use a little more polish. Estulin did a great job of researching the Bilderberg Group and provides his insight in this book. I'm not a "conspiracy" guy but there's a lot going on that is often hidden for the average citizen; this book helps to bring some of that to light and lets the reader draw his/her own conclusions.

This is an excellent book on revealing the history and activities of this group. It explains the secret workings and reveals some of the members and their work to control the workings of this world. They are generally moneyed and very influential people that believe they know better how to govern the world. If they accomplish their agenda every country will be run very similar to a socialist state with they or their designated person will govern.

Personalized experiences coupled with great information on a group that many people don't know anything about. Gives the history of the group as well as the scope of the control they have at there disposal. Great for anyone who is interested in learning more about how the world actually works and who is actually in power in this world...

I find this stuff very interesting the actual inner working behind all the glitter I certainly would not want to be in any of these shoes on the judgment day of the lord when all that have not accepted the Grace of God which is His Son The Lord Jesus Christ. No sense talking to anyone about this. No body would believe people or a system that evil actually exists. I Very informative. Great Reading! Roy Taylor.

This book came highly recommended to me by a fellow who embraces conspiracy theories. If you are so inclined already you will probably like this book. I found it to be written with all the rigorous scholarship and style of an overdue sophomore term paper. It lurches from chapter to chapter; inserts long quotes from "interviews" without quotation marks; gives numbered footnotes that essentially refer to either the same item, or an obscure newspaper, or the publication of another conspiracy theorists. To sum it up: Bilderberger Hotel hosted a conference, in 1954, of self-appointed leading Americans and Europeans. Subsequent meetings, more or less annually, included more or different people. The Bilderbergers consider themselves highly selective; they do not publish any summary or resolutions; many of the people who attend are government officials of varying countries. The meetings are private, NOT secret = a big, big difference the author doesn't seem to grasp.. The author's chief complaint seems to be "they won't let me come in their playhouse" from which he follows, "They must be up to no good." This book is apparently the author's life work, but it is seriously out of date. In one place, he refers to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police as "the equivalent of the CIA." (Really he did!) He includes a number of grainy pictures in black and white. I suspect the pictures are printed poorly intentionally, to suggest something exotic. He gives the truth away, however, when he prints one inside the picture section to be grainy, and then used the same picture on the back in crisp, clear color.
The author is also convinced that any American who goes to a Bilderberger conference is violating the Logan Act. He seriously misunderstands the Logan Act. There are many other unofficial private meetings held in the world, some every year, to discuss health, government, poverty, communications, world peace, immigration, arms sales, religious matters, and even board games (think Lions International, Rotary International, International Chess Federation.) Some of them also discuss trade, currency exchanges and values, political freedoms, and crop science. Some US and State government officials attend them regularly.
It's too bad the Bilderbergers don't invite the book's author to a meeting, to sit among the mostly elderly and mostly male "elite" and see them doze or scribble through presentations amounting to nothing more than foreign affairs "Ted Talks".
In short: if you've never met a conspiracy you didn't like, this is your book.

Thought it was going to be about the Bilderberg Group, but the vast majority was about the other organizations (Trilateral Commission, Council on Foreign Affairs, etc.), and it was full of him quoting other authors. I thought it was very poorly written and found myself skipping over many parts due to repetitiveness or getting tired of reading other authors over and over.

This book while eye opening, is very hard to read. It is appalling in the depth that men will stoop to control all the power in the world. i was shocked at how many people throughout history, that I thought were good people, were involved and knew in some way what was being done.

I got this book because I counted on the experience that the author had about this group and wanted to know more about the Bilderberg Group. Well when I got the book I started noticing right off the bat that much of what he was saying I already knew. I can't believe the years of experience he had and yet not once did he shock me. Much of what I knew about the Bilderberg Group I found either on the Internet or just by reading other books on the topic. The author wasted many pages in the book on his photos that are meaningless. I mean I don't need him to show pictures of each person who attended the meetings. I thought he had some secret eyewitness hidden somewhere that was giving him first hand information. I thought he was going to really expose what was going on in these meetings but he did not. I thought he had gotten secret papers from someone who attended the meetings but he also had not. All through the book he makes "conclusions" but nothing factual. If someone is going to spend 15 years studying one secret society, I am expecting them to come up with a bomb shell of news. Although this book maybe good for people who knows absolutely nothing about the Bilderberg Group, I do not recommend this book to anyone who know even a little about this group because it is far from being helpful. You have better luck surfing the Internet or buying other books that talk about secret societies in general. In fact, you'll save money if you buy a book that talks about other secret society groups then to just buy this book and be disappointed that you could have paid just the same and get more information on other groups as well.

No real surprises here, its good though to see the proof of the stories you her about. Something these people detest and fear is publicity, which this book delivers by the truck load. A book not to be missed

This is a great book to learn who the Bilderbergers truly are. Read this then watch Alex Jone's Endgame documentary. All of the information Daniel Estulin [& Alex Jones] provides is backed up by hard evidence that encourages you to seek the truth for yourself.
After you read this I suggest passing it on to someone you know or love. Remember nothing is a coincidence. Everything is created by design.

The author has not only done an incredible amount of his own investigation, but brings the best of other people's research into the book. The first pages of the book list the current criminals...err members of the B group. Tremendous information.
Please RateThe True Story of the Bilderberg Group
Somewhat it must be understood that this is an opinion and that the Bilderburg or similar organizations are not "going away" so with that in mind it is very good book. A bit prejudiced regrading Russia vis a vis America. The goals of globized world is a different world order and the "players" on all sides have that in mind. USA/RUSSIAN FEDERATION/CHINA are seeking an edge and this is what I think Dr. Henry Kissinger termed the realities of politics.
So must always where the author is coming from.
